He could've told me it needed cleaning when it really didn't but because of his honesty I paid only for the house call (very reasonable) and my clock continues to run better than ever now. He also educated us on a few points on caring for our clock and answered questions that we had. We will have Josh back again in 3 years as he recommended. We now have a lifetime "doctor" for our beautiful timepiece!

Our mantle clock was in one of the first things we bought as a couple in the previous century. it means a lot! okay, some notes: a. it may take time to get both an estimate, 3-5 weeks, and for the actual repair, another 3-5 weeks. i think there may be only one or two repair persons as this is a family shop. b. we paid half once we got the estimate and another half on pick up. the total cost was $250 as several of the internal components had to be sourced and replaced and the entire clock needed a deep cleaning. They also kept it for another week to ensure it was operating correctly c. the best way to follow up is probably by phone. Bob's has limited hour, 10-3 Monday-Friday.

The clock is working great now! Showed us the proper care for the clock and we couldn't be happier. We also had a mantle clock we got from my late father-in-law. This clock also never worked and we wrote off as just a paper weight. Turned out it's actually a French antique. Mark took a look and was also able to get this one working too. We'll definitely use Perfect Tyme again. Especially when it comes time for cleaning and maintenance.

Moreover, the crystal was scratched and I wanted it replaced. Mo, the honest and meticulous business owner he is didn't recomend the latter because it would interfere with the aesthetics of the watch. I went through with inspection and repair and declined replacing the crystal based on his recomendation. The watch came back in perfect functional capacity. Ironically, I bought my grail shortly thereafter so I don't even wear the Tag anymore, but I will have it serviced with Mo and not at Rolex in the future.
