We had a water spot on our first floor ceiling, and my daughter's bedroom window leaks a ton of water. We were told to text our info to their phone # (which we did) and they would come by Monday. No one came Monday, I called Tuesday to see if they could come out, and they explained they were really backed up but would try to come out. Never heard back. Called Thursday and talked to Stacy again who said they would try to come out Thursday or even Friday if they could. STILL never heard back or had anyone reach out or show up. I am sure they do good business, but after four phone calls, and two texts sending our contact information, and no follow up, that's not a good start to a business relationship.

I hired Kyle Roberts for a project to add a bathroom and closet to my modest 1000sq ft east side…read morecottage. The project was estimated to take four months for a budget of $140k. Instead, the project took over a year and was $60k over budget. Some of this was due to unforeseen circumstances (like unexpected electrical rewiring to fix existing issues). Most of this, however, was due to Kyle being unresponsive to both myself as the homeowner and his contractors who told me time and time again that they were unable to reach Kyle for time-sensitive decisions and instructions. Additionally, when his team made mistakes (which they did frequently due to a lack of supervision or the wrong plans on set or a litany of other reasons), Kyle charged me for the time and materials required to redo the work. Not only was the project poorly managed and way over budget and timeline, the quality of the work was so poor that I am still dealing with broken plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues that continue to cost me thousands of dollars to repair. All the faucets leak. The doors don't close properly. The floor is so unlevel (despite being an addition) that furniture doesn't fit properly. The HVAC vent in my son's room was covered up so there's no airflow coming into the bedroom. After a plumbing emergency the weekend I moved back in during which raw sewage came up through my new shower because his team had left the test plug in (!!!), Kyle was nowhere to be found. He didn't respond to calls, emails, texts, or messages in WhatsApp and Signal, and I ended up being on the hook for the nearly $3k plumbing bill to repair his team's mistake. Once I finally heard back from him on Monday, he and I agreed to part ways and terminate the relationship. I clearly laid out for him the conditions of the termination in writing, and he accepted. I have not heard from him again and, true to my word, have contracted directly with professionals that are repairing his team's work at my expense. Now I am receiving Intent to Lien notices from the subcontractors that he neglected to pay for work he contracted with them directly. He and I did not have a contract, and there are no grounds under which I am responsible for these payments. Kyle created pull requests for work completed, and I paid them same day. Every single time. Apparently, KYLE HAS NOT PAID HIS SUBS and they are now coming after me. Fortunately, I have documentation dating back to the beginning of the project that demonstrates Kyle's negligence as a General Contractor, as well as the documentation from all of the professionals I've had to contract since we terminated the relationship that are willing to go on record to describe the egregious mistakes and lack of craftsmanship in everything from the framing to the plumbing to the finish out, so I'm hopeful that I will not continue to be held responsible for Kyle's lack of attention and oversight.

They have great, competitive prices and are upfront with you, so even if not the cheapest they fix all the issues or explain them so you understand what they are doing and what you are getting. They go out of their way to try and make it just as you want it but offer suggestions as well on ideas that may work better or save you money. The warranty is nice as well. They answer and are good about fixing issues quickly. The workers I've dealt with are knowledgeable and fast. In Texas you don't want to be without AC for very long.
