Went to Hayters at 10am for Ohio state football watch party vs Marshall. The service was outstanding - friendly and attentive. Ample seating and excellent tv viewing options for watching the game. Special bonus that there was a DJ working the game. Special menu specials for the game including breakfast food options and beverages. We enjoyed a few beers and a mimosa. Bathrooms were very clean.

Rooftop is nice, especially when the weather is good. When we sat down the server immediately greeted us and brought water. She asked if we needed some time to look at the menu and we said yes. It was probably 10 mins or so before she came back, however she did apologize. We ordered the Swishy Pants and Blood Orange Kolsh beers, as well as chips and queso. Beers were great. Queso was good (peppery if you are into that) but the chips seemed stale. There was a Broncos game in while we were there and if you expected to hear the game while it was on you'd be disappointed because there was a DJ playing. Overall, it's a good place for a rooftop beer but we don't plan to return.

Gotta admit the experience was just OK since it was really crowded and noisy and it took over 30 minutes for me to get my burger for lunch but still giving it 4 stars. Mainly because I'm a huge Chicago Bears football fan and on Sundays, this is the place to be if you're a Bears fan. All the tv screens show the Bears game and tons of fans show up. They also have a huge upstairs patio area which was also full of Bears fans. It was a warm sunny day and they had the misters going to keep us cool. Great restaurant bar!

This is a cool spot to go to after a Rockies game. I was following the crowds after a Friday night game and ended up here. There is a large open space which turned into a dance floor as the niht went on. The crowd gets packed quickly early on but slowly starts to calm down. There is a rooftop which you can head up and enjoy the warm air. The bartenders were quick and helpful when we ordered drinks. Overall this is a nice place to come hang out after a Rockies game.

Nobody's home. I'm playing beer pong. As OG as it gets (I'm old.. so I'm just trying to have a good time).. I see the bartender and bouncer together so I say, "oh hey, you're the bartender?.. oh hi, you're the bouncer?!.. Merry Christmas!!" I go the the restroom.. come back. All of a sudden, I am kicked out.. after I drop over $100 on some ducking beer pong. Like I wipe my ass with $100.. but to get kicked out.. honestly.. go lick a cherry. Oh wait, your garnishments suck. Lol. #nobodyshome. P.s. I need a new place to play beer pong at.. 10/10 stars do not recommend. Customer service 0/10 stars Tap14 is solid. But, I'll no longer support it either because I'm not walking through this place just to get there.

See all them empty tables..they weren't busy‍..a drink would have been awesome

We keep going back to this place in hopes that we actually get some service ...but we don't. The roof top bar is such a great atmosphere! We tried again last night, on a Monday... very very slow...we waited 10mins and watched some waitresses clean tables. Finally we left and walked across the street and grabbed a drink and food. For some reason they have no desire to wait on people? I had to at least give it 2 stars for the atmosphere. Returned again 10-5-19..service is even worse if that's possible

    Ask the Community - Hayter's & Co.

Are kids allowed, or is it considered a bar? We want to come watch a 3pm college football game with our 10 and 11 year olds. I've tried calling but get a greeting that doesn't accept messages.

Hi there, So this place is technically consider bar only. However, I am sure during daylight…

    Is this a Bears bar?

Yes! Lots of bears fans here on a Sunday. Lots of packer fans too

    Any gluten free options here?

I didn't see any gluten free items on menu! It's more comfort food. Hamburgers, chicken wings, some salads etc

By now, average foodies have experienced what Culinary Dropout is all about and yet I humbly and honestly admit the fact that I was a virgin until I for the first time experienced it today on July 16, 2026. In a way, it was like celebrating a super belated birthday of someone I know. This Denver location is rightfully located in this one of the newly developed residential areas that used to be a desert (lol!!) With a blink of an eye, all sorts of businesses popped up within the last 5-10 years or so. First and foremost, what a spacious restaurant this is! Very modern with some casual sense but upscale at the same time. All 5 of us were taken all the way back to the u-shaped booths that is at the "Converse sneaker" decorated wall near the restrooms. Our waiter was John. His impeccable friendliness with expert-level server skills was quite notable. His timeliness in giving us a moment or two so we could decide what to drink/eat, checking back on us to see how everything was tasting etc. was almost AI-driven accuracy. For food and drinks, I am just going to speak just for myself. I got... -Vida Verdita which is a non-alcoholic cocktail that has a good amount of kick in it with pineapple with green appearance and -Roasted Salmon; the portion is a bit small and yet overall it tasted good with perfect medium-ness. Vida Verdita is one of the best NA drinks I've ever had in a while. This minimal consequence beverage is $9 as of mid-July 2026. If you want to steer clear of being drunk but want some energized push to get your night going then I highly recommend this NA drink. Roasted Salmon, on the other hand, was lacking exceptional quality for the price of $31. It wasn't bad as it was prepared in the perfect medium texture but I found it a bit boring so if spending $30+ on a mediocre plate is your pet peeve, then this "run of the mill" dish should be avoided. I feel that they should add more ingredients such as broccolini (yes, something green (not just some cilantro leaves) needs to be added to the plate.) In conclusion...did I walk away being super impressed after dining at Culinary Dropout Denver tonight? No, not really. And yet I wasn't disappointed either. Overall, my experience tonight sits somewhere between 3.5 and 4 star level. It was an occasion for our monthly "girls' get-together" and it's my understanding that we will meet at this place next month again. I will thus explore more on the menu by trying something different.

Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. It just felt like a really thoughtful meal from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorite dinners I've had in a while.

Warm, happy to have us there, easy to talk to. I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about a bloody mary, and a minute or two later Ryan asked if he should get that bloody started. He'd caught it in passing conversation, not because he was hovering. That's a hard balance to strike and he nailed it all afternoon. The drinks were great. Nothing fancy on my end, a bloody mary, a shaken screwdriver. Not too strong or weak. Sounds simple, but a lot of bartenders can't consistently hit it! We all got eggs your way, simple stuff done well. The roasted fingerling potatoes were crispy outside, fluffy inside, super good!! The strawberry jam was giving homemade, but I didn't confirm. It sits conveniently near the Convention Center, possesses a polished dining room, and harbors ambitions that deserve encouragement. On the Fourth of July, however, time itself wandered off to watch fireworks. Six coworkers and I arrived for our 7:30 reservation. We were seated immediately at a comfortable table in the back. The dining room was only about two-thirds full, which made the evening's upcoming mystery all the more impressive. That prompt seating, as it turned out, was the fastest thing that would happen to us all night. Our server greeted us, took drink orders, and brought out some warm Parker House rolls with Amish butter, alongside a bowl of French onion soup. This part was good. The rolls were soft; the soup was rich and comforting. Spirits were high. We ordered our entrees. Then the clocks stopped. Twenty minutes passed. Then forty. Then an hour. At first, we assumed our meals required extraordinary craftsmanship. Perhaps each potato was receiving a heartfelt, individual farewell before being mashed. Maybe the cows for our burgers were being transported from the farm where they source their meat in Wyoming fresh to order. But then we noticed something unsettling: nearly every table around us was waiting, too. Plates were strangely absent across the entire room. We had all been trapped inside an intermission with no second act. Our server, looking more exhausted with every trip from the kitchen, assured us our meals had "just been fired." I believed that he believed it. Ten more minutes drifted by. Our dinners finally appeared roughly ninety minutes after we had ordered. I felt bad for the man. He stayed friendly and professional while serving as the lightning rod for a kitchen catastrophe he had nothing to do with. Sometimes the person carrying the bad news is the one who deserves the most sympathy. The food, at least, tried its best. One of us couldn't stop talking about how excellent the pork chop was. Another declared the salmon outstanding. Three of us ordered the Brush Creek Wagyu burger. Mine arrived a perfect medium-rare. The other two, ordered medium, arrived practically mooing. But after waiting an hour and a half, nobody had the stomach to send them back into the void. They just ate their rare meat and kept quiet. To the restaurant's credit, our server chopped twenty-five percent off the bill without us having to ask. It was a decent, quiet gesture. It acknowledged that the evening had gone entirely off the rails. Corinne clearly has potential. The location is great, the space is nice, and when the food actually makes it to the table, it's mostly quite good. I suspect we simply wandered in on a spectacularly bad holiday evening. Even so, a ninety-minute wait and some undercooked burgers are hard to ignore. I hope our night was the exception, but I'm not entirely sure I'd gamble my evening to find out.
