This was a fun place to stop in while on bar touring. Plenty of space, clean and friendly staff. Huge liquor selection, kind small beer selection. So if you are looking for local beers, probably would not recommend. They were in process of tapping kegs so we had to wait for beer but while we waited we got to enjoy the huge jenga game. Which was completely worth it since we are jenga competitors! Ended up ordering the Coors Banquet (can never go wrong with this brew while in the area) 90s Shilling by O'Dells (nice red lager) and they gave up some samples of Sierra Nevada beers they had just got in. Had a nice bar menu for lunch and snacks as well. Definitely fun stop with cheaper brews than a lot of places around. Overall great experience and would definitely come back! read more

I love the name of this place and that they serve Hayterade! Not very original since every body that has a remote understanding of sports should be familiar with that term but its pretty awesome that they actually named this bar Hayters. We came mainly for beer pong - they have like 4 tables and they give you cups and balls after you purchase a pitcher. Beer pong brings me back to my college days and it was definitely time well spent. Since the cups they gave us were wet and appears washed and meant for re-use we played water pong and drank the beer on a separate cup. If you are done with beer pong, you can head upstairs to the rooftop to Tap Fourteen for some good music, drinks and a good view. read more

A girlfriend of mine recommended this place for some Friday night drinks. This is a great place for a good time. Had a couple drinks, couple shots. Needed some food to soak that up and went with friends suggestions and we ordered some burgers. The Blake Street Bomber which is grilled peppers, onion, brown sugar ham, with a fried egg and white cheddar (pictured). Also got the Bronco Burger with vodka BBQ sauce, bacon, caramelized onions and cheese. These were some F***ing amazing burgers. We cut them all in quarters and shared them among the table. They were amazing! Place also had a DJ playing good music. Nice array of games to play, pool, beer pong - whats your pleasure? Great food. Great service. Lots of good beer on tap. So, for Day 7 of the 12 Drinking Days of Christmas we decended upon Hayters in LoDo. The happy hour crowd here is cool. I was the first to arrive and ended up chatting with the bartender & a dude at the bar. The specials were $3 Drafts/Wells and $4 Hayterade, which I didn't have the guts to try, but enjoyed the Dales. The food was great. I had a massive burger where the "bun" was 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and my burger was adorned with a fried egg and bacon. Heaven! The fries are really good here as well, nice and crispy. I heard good things around the table about the mac'n'cheese and grilled chicken sandwich. The service was great. Our bartender was super friendly. When we moved over to a table, our server was totally nice about us moving tables 3 different times, ha ha. And, she was right on top of our separate checks, yay. The one down side here was the live music. Usually, I am all for it, but this is a small place and there isn't really anywhere to get away from it and talk with your table. We went to the far end and were still drowned out. It was set up more like a concert than live music in a bar. I'll avoid those nights in the future. Beware, parking on this street is a little tricky. There are a few music venues here, so they "hood" the parking meters so that the bands can park close & unload. It can be frustrating. Also, boo for Ladies night being Wells-only. I'm a beer girl myself, so I have to say the best free drinks for ladies night still belongs to Brauns a couple blocks away. Ah yes, good times can be had in the LoDo scene! I like to go here early for their drink specials, before the crowd arrives. They have a nightly ladies special (after 9 all u can drink Stoli for $10, and free wells on Thursday after 9). Plus always $2 PBR cans and old style. Their website is awesome, they even proclaim their mutual love of Yelp! Personally, me & my friends like the beer pong, skee ball and the basketball game. I have never eaten there or stayed and danced, as I am not into that scene. I like the set up, out front you can smoke and/or people watch and the bathrooms are always well kept. Once is gets late night and it becomes a challenge to get a drink at the bar, that is my signal to move on. But, no one ever objects in my group of picky friends to stoppin by for a few drinks! Bears bar!!! Skee ball! Life size Jenga! Huge TV! My home away from home in Denver! My buddy Bj Aja DJ Avionyx DJs here and I was in town for work so he brought me in. Love love love this place. I went here in August (my reviews are a little behind) and it was sort of dead but there were no sports on at the time. Had a veggie burger and fries, and it was very decent bar food. The atmosphere is the best, friendly bar staff, can't wait to come back for a Bears game. If you like Chicago sports you will fall in love with the interior of the bar. read more

I can't say enough positive things about his place. Tonight my coworkers and I went in (majority girls). The woman bartender was so kind and amazing to talk to (even while horrible little "frat" boys disrespected her). A bit later a the whole group of us (about 12) we're enjoying each other's company dancing when a MANCHILD made the females feel extremely uncomfortable and tried to fight our male coworkers strictly for being the protective barrier around us. The DJ and one of the bouncers made sure he was escorted out and kept us feeling safe and enjoying a great atmosphere! Fun bar in downtown Denver devoted to all things Ohio! We went here to watch the OSU game on the rooftop and had a blast. Quick bites like chips and salsa and soft pretzels were great and deals on Coors Light Pitchers during game time came in clutch. Also a great selection of local craft beers and service was friendly and attentive. Overall pretty crowded and noisy but you can probably assume that at a sports bar on a weekend. We had a great time and the big picnic table seating was awesome for our large party. Wish they had more TVs/better seating to be able to see the TVs from any spot, but it wasn't too bad. Awesome bar look, sad service. Entry Is fairly easy but there is a lack of organization. We sat at a table on the rooftop but no one came over. We figured maybe there were a bit too many people up top and that we would have better luck downstairs but once we got downstairs no one came either. We ended up walking over to the bar the bartender seemed indifferent about helping or creating a nice experience in any way. I figured maybe it was just me but my girlfriend had the same experience when she went up to the bar herself a bit later. Drinks are ok food is decent... nothing crazy but not bad either. Things made a bit more sense when we paid and saw the lowest automatic option is 20% gratuity. I wouldn't try too hard either if I was getting a good tip anyway I guess..? 2 stars just for the content of the menu... could easily be a 5 star venue if anyone seemed to care. read more

Bartender was great. DJ is terrible; just finish a song already; gets part way through a song then switches to another song. People go running for the dance floor; and the song has already changed. That's not good. It's a Friday night and people want to dance and they can't. Get a better DJ; you have great bartenders and a good place. Will be great. This place is terrible. I watched the bouncers physically push people out the door at 1:30am in the most unnecessary way possible after the bartenders were still pouring drinks. No cohesion between staff so when it wasn't even closing time i felt unsafe and worried a giant man was going to put his hands on me to push me out of the door when I had no idea it was a hard 'get out it's 1:30' policy bc the bar was still happily pouring drinks getting their money. I live in Denver and I'll never go back, it was one of my most disappointing nights out in town in a long time. read more

A Mom's Review of Hayters: Besides the questionable "Y" in its purposely misspelled name, overall my experience at Hayters was a good one. It was my friend's birthday and she loves to dance, and so after the ballet downtown, we found our way here after stopping over at our hotel, the fantastic Maven. We were looking for just a fun place to hang, and so when we walked by and heard music, she dragged us inside. News flash: I am not a clubbing person, and so I was sort of dreading this as we were all dressed in very fancy clothes as we were just at the ballet, BUT we went anyways. The place was packed, and the atmosphere was party..but...and here's the shocking part: I didn't hate it. I didn't feel claustrophobic or out-of-place as I often do at clubs, because I feel like Hayters had a laid back dance-club vibe that as a 30(cough)something, I appreciated. Everyone there was there to dance and enjoy themselves and not really worry about other people. The bartenders were quick and attentive, and my Malibu Pineapples were actually REALLY good. (That's why I had five of them.) The music was pumping, and I thought it was so fun that they posted pictures of the people on a large screen while we were dancing...that is until our picture got on an endless loop and every time it popped up we died a little inside. #Momlife My only complaint was the bathroom had a very aggressive woman in it, who screamed at us to hurry and get off our phones and then when we came out to wash our hands, she would squirt soap on them without asking and then tell us she worked for tips. It was strange and unnerving and rude and made just going to the bathroom a pressure-filled experience. Overall though, Hayters made for a pretty fun night with my girls, even if we were the oldest people dancing. read more

Dear Ryan Earles(supposed manager) On Monday, February 4th 2019 my wife and I (US Vets) came into your bar with friends who were visiting from out of state. After presenting valid id's and being served our beers we tried to make the most of a slow Monday night by playing some cornhole. The bartender then proceeds to come outside and snatch our beers that we have earned the right to drink, legally! He rudely accuses one of us for having a fake id. The YOUNGEST girl in my group was 23(past the legal drinking age).In an attempt to still keep drinking we wanted to talk to the manager and have him look at everyone's VALID id. Conveniently the bartender pointed to the manager who was sitting at the bar himself and he wouldn't even look at our id's!! Now, I'm confused Ryan. Did you kick us out because we are Gay....or because we were in the Army....did you not like us playing cornhole.....or because we were the only females in your bar that night sadly? Don't even try to bring your fake ID here because the security dude in the front will look at it for 5 minutes and still bend it. LOL That's a good thing though, it was just surprising because I arrived at like 4PM and it was dead. Anyways, I was with family and we were airing for more to arrive. Our serves was very mice and helpful with everything. I will say the service was good in my experience. The food, on the other hand, was not my favorite around. The fries were good and the chicken strips are only good with sauce, otherwise they're kind of bland. The drink selection is okay. The biggest disappointment for myself and my family was the happy hour. If you're looking for a good happy hour, this is definitely not the place. Luckily, there's a lot of other places with great happy hours in the area. I would maybe come back here, but it's definitely not some place I would plan on going to if it's by my own choice. Went there a few days ago for the first time and it was a quiet night. The bartender was great and had a good attitude, but the manager was very rude and unprofessional when addressing her. The manner in which he spoke to her made me uncomfortable, as it happened right in front of me in the bar and there was hardly anyone in the building. My boyfriend and I where in from Las Vegas last week for a wedding and since we got I a day early we decided to go bar hopping! It was Saturday and a day game we went inside and upstairs was so packed we sat downstairs where it was empty. By the time we ordered drinks the place has filled up completely tables and all. There was just one bartender I forget his name but I snapped a picture of him. He kept his calm and served every guest I was throughly impressed. The food itself was good but not the best however we will be back for some great drinks and service! The cucumber fizz from upstairs, which we later visited, was great! When we walked into Hayter's & Co., I was a bit nervous. First, the name, Hayter's. What's up with that? Through questioning our server about the name, we find that it's the last name of the owner. Looking through the menu, there weren't any vegetarian options available. However, they can do any burger on their menu with a veggie burger. YAY! I ordered the Green Chili at first, but then our server came back and informed me that the Green Chili is made with pork. This large immaculate yet welcoming sports bar features exceptionally friendly and attentive service. The biggest surprise is the excellent food. Definitely a cut above typical bar fare. My wife had a beef gyro: she raved! I had a bacon mushroom cheeseburger that was gourmet. Top that off with excellent happy hour deals and some off the hook promotions (One night, women get free well drinks all night) and you've got a place that stands above many of its competing neighbors. read more

Just a god-awful name for what turned out to be a pretty good bar. On our Denver Microbrew Tour, we passed by this bar and it got ragged on pretty good by a few locals. But after a round (or fifteen) and looking for a nightcap, my group and I stumbled around and realized where we ended up. Don't hate the players or the game. It's a clean bar (relative to some of the other LoDo spots) with a nice rotation of semi-obscure rap. Winner winner. read more

My boyfriend and I literally tried to grab another waiter to be our server. We had to practically beg to have any water refills. The food was cold and took over an hour....
