Dr Casey is very thorough and friendly. Staff is exceptionally helpfulread more

I had two appointments here and switched eye doctors afterwards. I made my initial appointment…read moreafter my insurance changed and I needed a new eye dr. Dr Casey is very nice but the office is in sort of a time warp - there is not very much new technology available and it seems they most of the clients (at least when I was there) were aging and probably not concerned about the lack of technology. I had to come back a second time to get my eyes dilated because the office doesn't have the technology to take a picture of your eye (not sure what it's called, but I had been doing it for years at my previous doctor). They also did not have the technology to fit new lenses into your glasses in the office, they were still measuring your frames and sending them out (haven't seen that done in maybe 5-7 years?). The only person who could do that was out of the office and no one seemed to know when he or she was coming back either time I was there. The second time I went to the office, to get my eyes dilated, I asked for my records from them (basically my records from the first visit) and the front desk gave me a hard time for wanting my own copy. I also do want to mention that I did need to get the prescription Dr Casey gave me adjusted because it as making me dizzy. I do NOT blame him for this because I did sit in the chair and say I thought it looked right to me, but it the end the axis wasn't correcting my astigmatism and I had to get a new prescription. I've been a glasses wearer for 20+ years and this has never happened to me before. Odd enough to mention, but again I don't think this was an error on the doctor's part. Again, everyone was very nice but the office is very slow moving and most of the technology i was used to from my old eye doctor was unavailable and that made my experience sub-par. It seemed like it would take several visits to the office to get new glasses.
