I paid HBI Auto in Mocksville, N.C. $3,202.50 to add XPEL Paint Protection Film and ceramic coating to my brand new car. The film tech tried three times and delivered a car each time with bubbles and blemishes. After the third attempt, I told him to just remove the film and refund my money. The co-owner called and told me he would wrap the car himself and deliver a "perfect" car. When we arrived to pick up the car that should have been wrapped over the previous 2.5 days, we found the same tech working on it. The co-owner refused to remove the film and refused to return our money. We took possession of the car and found the same blemishes and bubbles as were there the first three times. Litigation is planned.

I want to share my recent experience with HBI. While I had a great conversation with Niko, an excellent sales guy, my overall encounter was disappointing. As the end of the month approached, I was drawn to a dealership that appeared to have great reviews and a fantastic selection of cars. However, I felt pressured to sign a contract and pay a deposit to secure a vehicle. They informed me they couldn't secure a loan for me because "I have almost 400k in auto loans." Fortunately, my credit union promptly handled the financing, and they were set to mail a check after the weekend. The same day I left my deposit, I received a call stating that the dealership sold the car to someone else, claiming I took too long to finalize my deposit. I was waiting to secure financing before I paid any "non-refundable" money. Wouldn't you do the same? To make matters worse, the CEO contacted me, insisting that I took too long to place my deposit and then claimed the deposit would hold the car for 48 hours--which it clearly did not. He further threatened me by stating he wasn't obligated to refund my deposit and pressured me to remove my negative reviews, citing a clause in their contract that allegedly prohibited me from doing so. This clause is not only unprofessional, but it is also illegal under The Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). He gave me just 24 hours to remove all reviews, using my deposit as leverage against me and their questionable sales contract. Beware of such practices if you're considering doing business with this dealership.

This review is only based on my experience after walking around their lot that is filled with exotic cars but no interaction with the staff here. The lot is filled with used cars, some my be waiting to be serviced, body work, detailing, modifications while other are apparently for sale. I was a little surprised that this level of business exist in Mocksville only because it's a niche business and being it was my first visit to this small town and I don't know the demographics. I do know that fast cars and racing is an inherent part of the culture in this region of the country e.g. NASCAR has a roots in North Carolina so I'm sure there are influences that makes this a successful business. So if you like cars like Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, Corvettes, Acura, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini and more this place probably will interest you. I wasn't shopping, just looking since I was doing business in the area and this business was within walking distance. If I were in the market for something bad ass nostalgic I'd probably take a deeper dive, they also have a pretty good website with details and pricing as well...

I got PPF done on my new car. Gaige took great care of me. Coordinated the transport of my new car from the dealer to their detail shop. Overall a great experience.

I purchased a Vehicle from Auto Triad Group and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience…read more I bought the vehicle "as-is," trusting that the dealership had been honest about its condition, but the very next day after purchasing it, I discovered serious problems that should have been disclosed upfront. The car ended up having major issues with the EGR cooler and cooling system, which caused misfires, rough starts, and concerns about possible head gasket damage. These were not small maintenance items--they were expensive and stressful repairs that made the car unreliable right after purchase. I had to spend additional time and money just to get the vehicle running properly. What makes this more frustrating is that after looking into the dealership further, I found multiple similar reviews from other customers describing the same kind of experience--hidden problems, lack of transparency, and being left to deal with costly repairs after the sale. I understand buying a used car "as-is" comes with responsibility, but dealerships should still be honest and upfront about known major issues. I'm leaving this review so others can be cautious and do a very thorough inspection before buying from Auto Triad Group. I would strongly advise future buyers to be careful and possibly pick a different dealer, considering this isnt the first time. I included pictures of just some of the things I had to do, I didn't get pictures of the worst part, but the EGR cooler was completely clogged with little to no airflow. I tried cleaning it, but it was too solidified, so I had to purchase a new part costing me $600. and totaling out at just about $800 in repairs. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

The vehicle was very clean and in great shape with no dents or scratches. I asked Ronnie if there had been any issues with the car in which he replied , "no" . I also asked when the oil had been changed and he said he actually had changed it himself recently for his friend . I had the oil changed 3 days after I purchased the car. A week and 1/2 later , the oil light came on showing a quart of oil was needed. I took it back to the mechanic who checked for oil leaks , however none were found and he put in a quart of oil. 2 weeks later the oil light came back on with the alert to add a quart of oil. I then took it to the Volvo dealership in Winston Salem NC who discovered the oil had been leaking into the engine which had been occurring for an extended amount of time . A new oil trap and hose was replaced however the mechanic said this was a temporary fix as the vehicle needs a new engine due to the amount of damage it has incurred . Ronnie had to know there was a problem with the oil . I was so disappointed in him when he didn't reveal this especially when I asked him if the oil had been changed recently . I know he sells 'as is' but he should had revealed that there may be a problem with the oil. I contacted him and informed him what the dealership had discovered and requested that I return the car and receive a refund . He offered a full trade and did send me the car fax on two similar vehicles. I asked if these two were in good condition and he answered yes but after researching the car fax reports , I discovered both vehicles had been involved in 2 accidents each. Ronnie and his son were very polite but I lost trust in Ronnie and was afraid of purchasing another vehicle with hidden issues . I am so disappointed in him not revealing there was a potential problem with the oil . If he had taken the car back and given me a refund , that would had at least shown integrity on his part as an businessman .

And now the radiator... the car was a dude from the beginning. Not to mention that the they rode out my full tank of gas before giving it back to me after pretending to fix the gaskets. This is not a good dealer and I wouldn't trust them with a car battery. Let alone trust them to sale a decent car. Not to mention the car fab that they were supposed to order they never did. This place is trash and so is the cars. Don't go to them, you've been warned.
