I messaged her right away and she proceeded to tell me it's normal when I pick my nails but I've never experienced this in the 10+ years I've been getting gel or any form of nail product on my nails... I asked her if there was anyway she could at least fix the broken one or soak them off cause maybe her process is was caused it since there was gel around my nails and on my cuticles. She only offered me a refund of $45 even though I paid $90 and they didn't even last a day. I ended up having to go to primary care 2 days later because they were blistering. I went to message her and let her know that this had happen and she had me blocked.... In result of my cuticles bleeding and irritation the doctor said i had a chemical burn which is caused from improper curing as well as nail products being left on your skin! I definitely do not recommend as her practices are very expensive and not practiced properly.

The concept of a spiky, wispy, textured pixie is not comfortable for some stylists. It seems most people only go in for long hair trims and balayage, so perhaps stylists do not get to practice that style. Someone on NextDoor suggested Cori Beasley from Salty Blonde Salon. Thank you!! Wish I could remember who recommended her so I could thank her!! I got a wonderful cut, her attention to technique was great, lots of confidence in her manner. I pay attention to all that a stylist does, including if their scissors are kept sharp. I've had worn out scissors used on me that pulled my hair or damaged the ends. Very conveniently located on Hercules off Star Rd next to the Anytime Fitness. I told Jason that I wanted a regular haircut with a #4 on the sides and back. Instead of going high with the clippers, he stayed low and left some length up above to allow for some movement of the hair. No one has cut my hair this way (to my recollection) and I was very happy with the result. The best haircut I've had in quite some time. Jason is also very nice and personable and keeps the conversation going. Since we're new to Star, my wife not being satisfied with the one haircut she has received since we moved, and Jason's wife Gina (they co-own the shop) also receiving great reviews, I'm referring my wife to her.
