    Italian sub on sweet bread.
    Josh F.

I've eaten here a couple of times. It's been good both times. Their bread is a "sweet" bread. It's not too sweet though and it's extremely fresh. Sandwiches are all made when you order in front of you. It's kind of tough to see the veggies (unlike Subway), but they do a good job telling you the options. That said, the veggies were also extremely fresh and tasty. I had the Italian sub. The meat was excellent. And, the sandwich was really well made. Everything was distributed perfectly. High marks for the staff. They also have one of those soda machines with a ton of flavors. I love those. Overall, if you have the time, I'd recommend it over the Subway that's in the same parking lot. Total cost was $10 for a full size (about 10 inch) sub and drink.

Came in here and beat a huge rush of people - but the short moment we had alone with the staff was great. They were engaged in us and conversation and gave great recommendations for our subs. We got it to go but everything was made neatly and wrapped tight and was still hot when we got back. The subs are much longer/bigger than I anticipated, way too full after I ate the whole thing. It seems that people like their soups too, but it was too early for me to get one! I did get a brownie though and it was delicious!

I will have to say this little gem is a very wonderful place. At first I was like..... yeah this won't fill up a bumble bee. But hen I ate it and was completely stuffed! I can barely breath. And the food was exceptional. The staff were very sweet and I really enjoyed my visit! Thanks again. I would recommend.

Love their sweet bread. Generous sizes and yummy selections. Staff courtesy can be hit or miss - sometimes friendly sometimes not.

I had the Steering Wheel and it was one of the best French Dips, I've ever had. Sweet potato fries and the krinkle fries were tasty. While we waited for our food, some of us walked over to the little museum. The owner came over and talked to us a bit and our grandson's liked all the car stuff and memorabilia! They host bands, but we were just there for lunch on a rainy day! I had the chicken salad which was very good and liked the fact it didn't have raw onion like a lot of places have as I can't do raw onion. I asked for it in a wrap instead of the croissant that it normally comes on and they accommodated my request. I went with the home made chips, which were different than most have. They were really good and I shared them with others. Two of our Grandson's had pizza which they liked and another Grandson had the pulled pork nacho's with his Grandpa. Our daughter had the protein bowl which she enjoyed as well. I was sitting at the other end, so not sure what anyone else had. We will be back again!

I ordered the crispy tenders dinner which the menu clearly states comes with 6 chicken tenders, dipping sauces, & 2 (or 3) sides. When our food finally arrived I got 3 tenders and no sauce. My wife pointed out the sauce was missing and when our waitress finally returned I asked about the 6 vs 3 tenders. She insisted it only came with 3. I was sure of what the menu said, and she offered to put in another 3. But we didn't have another 45 minutes to wait so I declined. Service was awful, food was mediocre at best, place smelled very bad, and there was no hand soap in the bathrooms even after multiple people told the staff. Two managers standing next to the fireplace cutting up with each other, completely oblivious to anything else. It's been about 15 years since I've been to a Cracker Barrel and I probably won't be back anytime soon.
