I had a very disappointing experience with this fertility practice and ultimately decided to seek…read morecare elsewhere. After my initial consultation, I completed the preliminary bloodwork. During my next appointment, the doctor reviewed the results with me and then ordered additional bloodwork. The woman at the office who took my blood told me the results would be available on the patient portal within two days. When they weren't posted, I called the office the following week and was told that results take at least five days to become available, which was inconsistent with what I had previously been told, and that they'd be posted soon. I called again the next week when the results still weren't available and was told the staff was in surgery that day and they'd make a note to look into it and call me back. No one ever did. After numerous phone calls and follow-ups on my part, the results were finally posted more than six weeks later. What was even more frustrating was that no one ever contacted me to explain what the results meant or discuss any next steps. As someone seeking fertility treatment, waiting weeks for test results without any communication is stressful. I also underwent an HSG procedure at a nearby hospital based on the doctor's recommendation. Once again, I never received a call regarding the results. When I contacted the office, I was told they would obtain the report via fax and follow up with me. Just like before, I never heard back. The lack of communication, follow-through, and coordination throughout the process was extremely disappointing. Fertility treatment can already be an emotional and overwhelming experience, and patients should not have to repeatedly chase down their own test results or wonder whether anyone is managing their care. I ultimately chose not to return and transferred my care. The difference has been night and day with communication, organization, and overall patient experience. I cannot speak to the doctor's medical expertise, but based on my experience, the administrative and patient communication aspects of this practice were severely lacking.

Would not recommend this fertility center…read more We came in to explore our options for IUI and IVF. Based on cost and our personal situation, we initially decided to pursue IUI. During our first visit, we were given clear guidance that supported this direction--and this was consistently reinforced by multiple staff members, including the nurse. However, during our follow-up appointment for an ultrasound, the experience changed significantly. Dr. Josh Bergers shifted his recommendation and strongly pushed IVF instead. When I referenced the information we had previously been given--and noted that his own staff had confirmed it--there was a noticeable lack of accountability. The staff avoided eye contact, which only added to our discomfort and confusion. Fertility treatment is an incredibly vulnerable and emotional journey, and trust is essential. Unfortunately, that trust was broken for us. It felt like our financial value as patients mattered more than our emotional well-being. To make matters worse, when I later called to request our medical records (which we had already paid for out of pocket), the experience was equally frustrating. The representative, Ixamara, was rude and unprofessional, and informed me that I would need to pay an additional fee and complete a release form just to access my own records. This felt unreasonable and added to the overall negative experience. Each interaction with this office resulted in inconsistent messaging and a lack of clarity. For something as important as fertility care, that level of inconsistency is unacceptable. We ultimately decided to go elsewhere and would not recommend this center.

Throughout every step of our journey, Dr. Ho has shown us unwavering compassion, kindness, and genuine care. She made us feel supported every step of the way, and we are endlessly grateful for the role she has played in helping us build our family. We cannot imagine this journey without her.

It felt genuine-and I could tell she was sad for me but she was hopeful. I got some good news today-I have two eggs! And my follicles are working! So fingers crossed. I also really love Kim-she's one of the nurses but also the educator and she explains things so perfectly. It's been eye opening to learn so much about the woman's body-things they don't teach you in school or even at with your primary doctor and I love learning and very grateful I have this opportunity when so many others do not. Plus it also makes me appreciate what women go through with their journeys. I also love seeing the other nurses and especially Allie-she is so incredibly sweet and Deztyni-she's spicy but she very easy to talk to and she's a really really hard worker and cares a lot about her job and she's just a great person in general. Last but not least-the ladies in the billing department. Today, the nurse who helped me, explained to me about insurance and spent time going through mine with me and about the new laws and changes and what to expect going forward. Insurance companies suck in general but it's less painful when you're being taken care of by such wonderful people here. It's such an emotional and physical journey-being a woman and going through this so it makes me really happy that I have such a great team of amazing ladies who are also my support system that I can count on.

After a diligent research, we found Dr Ambartsumyan (Gayane) at Reproductive Partners in Redondo Beach. We were able to get an appointment with her within a week and during our apt my husband and I immediately felt comfortable with her. She was knowledgeable, funny and easy to talk to you. In fact, having Dr A as my RE made me feel like I had a personal physician. If I had any questions, Dr A was a text message away [I think she sleeps with her phone :-) ] she immediately answered all my questions. On the day of my IVF, I had acupuncture (please see Deannie Janowitz review) and after our first try of IVF with Dr. A, I got pregnant. I am now 14 weeks along with a healthy and growing baby boy. I have three embryos left and I'm plan on using them again with Dr. A as my RE. There is no doubt that Dr. A is a rare breed of physician: equally knowledgeable as she is caring. I feel incredibly lucky to have Dr. A as my RE and I highly recommend her to anyone! Update: In 2017, I had another IVF with Dr. A and delivered a beautiful and healthy baby girl (I was 42 yrs old). She is 7month old and I am grateful as can be!

She gave me her personal email and cell phone number at the very start of treatment, which is absolutely unheard of in my experience. I don't know when she sleeps, but she is always available when you need her. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for several years, and after much testing we realized that IVF was our only hope of getting pregnant. My gynecologist referred us to Dr. A and I immediately began looking up her reviews and success rates. I could not be happier that we chose her as our doctor! The entire IVF process has gone very smoothly and Dr. A was careful to use a protocol that would not cause OHSS since I have PCOS. She and her staff explained each step and were always available to answer my questions. I just received a positive pregnancy test after my first IVF transfer. Dr. A made many smart recommendations (ICSI, PGS, FET), which all contributed to our success. We still have a long way to go, but this is literally the first positive pregnancy test that I have ever had. I am still in shock. I'm hoping that the pregnancy will be viable and carry full-term, but either way, Dr. A has given us an opportunity that we never would have had otherwise. I highly recommend meeting with Dr. A if you are in need of fertility assistance. She is such a wonderful doctor and person!

Dr. Bailey really knows what she is doing, listens to your needs, and helps you make sense of the process. She is super empathetic and creates comfortable, caring acupuncture sessions. Jessica has also gone out of her way to be helpful and supportive - she even offered her cell phone number so I could make an appointment once I found out when my transfer would be (I wouldn't find out until the last minute). She was extremely reassuring and supportive through a stressful time, and made me feel so cared for. On the day of my transfer, they also recommended my husband make a fresh juice for me from a few different veggies. When I looked it up later, there was a recent NIH study that reported higher transfer rates with this juice - so you know Dr. Bailey is staying on top of recent research. Dr Priors was friendly and professional. She has an excellent demeanor and is very knowledgeable not only about acupuncture and herbs, but also about the body in general as it pertains to natural remedies and lifestyle modification for health. I loved her references to modern studies and her blunt commentary on these studies and clarification on conflicting information. Very much appreciated by a person like me who is curious and likes to take my care into my own hands. The office a legitimate doctors office with multiple practices on site. Their suite is cute, decorated for Christmas and has photos of clients and their families. She treated me for two things, hormonal balance for fertility and a stiff neck. The stiff neck was drastically improved the day after treatment. It will take longer to measure results on the hormonal treatments. Cost for fertility treatments is $225 1st visit and $89 subsequent visits. They ask you to pay upfront, but offer a Superbill, which is a request to your medical insurance provider to reimburse you. Out of pocket cost for the first visit, depending on insurance, could be as low as $25-$75. Subsequent visits should be $15-$25, also depending on insurance. Highly recommend this practice, especially Dr. Priors.
