I went back to Healey Auto, where Amanda got me the keys to a low-mileage Subaru Outback, which I took for a test drive. Got back and then worked with Shari, the finance person. Beware the do not know German cars like they claim. Nor do they honor their work. They worked on the same thing 3 times with a 1700.00 bill plus parts and could not fix it properly. Ended up going to hagans across town and paid again for the same job. Will end up going to court to collect. Brian from Healey's refused to pay another shop but he had four times to correct it. The brakes on my car suddenly went bad. Healey's made the time to take the car in early. The staff were great at communicating with me throughout the time the car was in the shop. Breaks are now perfect. Cost was very good. I was also reminded that the tires were getting toward the end. I drive on a high speed highway 4 evenings a week, so the head's up was much appreciated. Rochester, its finally here! Couldnt ask for better service. I went to get my oil change. When doing my oil change Brian pointed out to me that my front brake pads were almost grinding with the rotors. He was able to fix my brakes and get me back on the road quicky and the price was very reasonable as well. read more

I generally do the maintenance on my Frontier so when things got bad (rear differential catastrophic failure) I needed to find a local mechanic. I stopped in and talked with the owners son and decided to give them a chance. They gave me what turned out to be an accurate estimate and work was completed in a timely manner. Some how a brake sensor was damaged in the course of the repairs and they claimed responsibility and purchased factory parts to make it right. I had been planning on replacing my lower ball joints and also my front rotors and pads and they had no problem with installing my parts without charging a higher labor rate as many shops will do. Excellent experience... I will most definitely use them again. read more

I presented to the guys at Healeys a 1996 Ford Mustang which would turn over but would not start. They were determined to identify and fix the problem. After identifying it as a computer problem they replaced the computer. It still would not start. They obtained another computer, installed at and the car would not start. They then obtained a third computer. installed it and the car now starts. I know that they spent many hours, much effort and considerable expense to solve a difficult problem.It was a matter of principle with them to solve the problem and I know it cost them considerably more than I was charged. Healeys is a highly professional, knowledgeable and dedicated group whose primary concern is to complete the job right at a reasonable cost to the customer. I would recommend Healeys for any maintenance or repair job and will certainly use them again in the future. read more
