OK, here is my 411 on Healthy Smile! They are awesome! Friendly staff, very good at there jobs, knowledgeable and above all else professional. Apologies if I don't use there name, just that I am horrible at remembering names. Even though I have been going to them for years. Well, any hoot! The male Dentist, Dr. W is great friendly and knows his trade. He took care of a fistula on # 18 and I feel great. The female Dentist, Dr. P, she is the bomb!! Now, let me explain further. My family and I have been going to Healthy Smile for years, my wife and kids have had serous dental issues, Healthy Smile has done right by then. I on the other hand have not truly had any serous problems with my OH. Except that I smoke and yes, I do forget to floss "occasionally", hey who has't! But I do brush twice a day and have not had a cavity since I was 14. So, I do take care of my OH very well. After all I am an RDA/OA, and graduated from a foreign Dental School. San Martine de Porres, Lima Peru. Anyhow, last week I had sensitivity witch turns out to be a problem on #13 UL 2nd bi. You C, do to my job being stressful, "occasionally". I tend to clench and grind my teeth a lot, "in the day time, not at night", at work. Beginning of August or end of July I clenched so hard that I heard a big crack afterwards, but since there was no pain or did not feel any of my teeth mobile brushed it off. Boy "O" Boy I am going to regret that, and regret that I was not wearing my stress guard that day. I fractured it Misial to distal and it swelled up big time. The pain was unbearable that I was not consecrating well at work, or sleeping well. Until 2day, Dr. P did an Open and Med, I feel "Awesome" (singing). I go back nxt Wensday to finish RCT. Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Phung have been taking care of our family (my husband, 2 daughters, and myself) for 10 years. My husband has had extensive work done including several crowns, fillings, and implants. The doctors are gentle, kind, and honest. They are wonderful with small children and have our best interest as their number one priority. The hygienists and assistants are top notch - pleasant, professional, and respectful. The staff here is really awesome. They are all kid friendly. I bring all my kids here and this is the first dentist they ever loved. The only downside is that you don't actually get seen at the time of your appointment. And so your going to be sitting there for a while. Other than that, this place is great! read more

I came here with my children when I lived in the area years ago and we had very good service. I'm skittish when it comes to going to the dentist, but I wanted my children to het into the habit of going. When I left Menifee we went to a couple of other dentists over the years but I was not satisfied with the service or how they did business. When it was time to go again I decided to come back to Healthy Smiles. I'm so glad I did. From the front office staff (Tina) helping me to getting my cleaning with Julie I was extremely happy. I have to mention that I had to repeatedly change and reschedule the appointment for me and my son and they were very accommodating. Love this Dentist, he's very honest and by far is very calm and soft. I'm the type that is petrified to get any work done but he makes it easy. Also the my crown that I got has been the best out of all I've ever gotten from any other dentist and also had to pay out of pocket to supposedly get the best. I have reported this dentist! I would give no star if I could! We have only been to him twice and the 2nd time the hygienist told me my daughter had 6 cavities! That would mean she had 6 cavities in one year! I asked to speak to the dentist and the dentist confirmed she had 6 cavities that were shallow and didn't need numbing. I asked to see proof as all 3 of my kids (19, 17 and 14) have never had cavities. He tried to show me on a camera first and then by taking the dental tool and pushing on her tooth. I told him it wasn't evidence and he didn't convince me she had cavities because of looking at a camera and a dental tool on her teeth. When I asked to see the X-ray, he said the X-ray wouldn't show it as it was too shallow. Trying a different approach, he then said her sealants had come off- I told him she has never had sealants. He was out of options at that point so he then started to say it was a miscommunication and he never said she had 6 cavities. My daughter and I were in shock! Needless to say, we won't be back! He lied directly to my face! They then had the nerve to ask if I wanted to schedule an appointment to come back for the fillings. I wanted say "fillings for the non-cavities?" I was very upset that he is leading people to believe they have cavities/decay when they don't! Additionally his receptionist was very rude before this happened and upon exiting - never offered a goodbye or an apology. read more

ZERO STARS if I could! Finally got to write this review and similar to what others said, GET A SECOND OPINION! Dr Nguyen told me I needed deep cleaning and when I went to get that second opinion, my NEW dentist said it was not needed as my teeth were healthy, no cavities and gums were also good. Add to the inconvenience of NOT being seen at your regularly scheduled appointment, the front desk staff isn't exactly welcoming when you walk in. Especially, that lady named Tina. I've walked in on two occasions and she immediately asked what insurance company I am with. How about greeting your patients first since they CHOOSE to come to you guys for dental care? With that said, I'm happy I am no longer a patient at this clinic. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

This office is pleasant, welcoming and knowledgeable. Going to the dentist is stressful enough, but the friendly staff helps takes some of that stress away. And let's not forget to mention how clean and tidy everything is! Also, I have never had an issue with the financial side, which as you can imagine can be quite the headache. Luckily they work with my insurance and help accommodate me with any other concerns I might have. Over all, I'm more than happy with my doctors and the office itself! I went to this dentist when I moved to the area. I had xrays and a checkup. I was told that I had 13 cavities and needed a deep cleaning of all 4 quadrants, because my gums were receding. I was told this would take several appointments and cost a ton of $$$$$$$. So I waited on any dental care from them. 6 months later I decided to get a second opinion. Boy am I glad I did!!!!! I have 1 cavity and the new dentist I went to told me that I have taken very good care of my teeth and my gums are in great shape. No need for a deep cleaning at all. Buyer Beware!!!!! Ok. So we called on Thursday of last week. Part of my husbands wisdom tooth fell out. I was told the Dentist that could do an extraction(first asked for Tuesday and was told dentist that could do extrations would not be there) would be there Monday fair enough husband took day off to go. We had gone in and his teeth we already knew from a previous dentist with x rays 2 were partial boney and 2 were already out and they had said yes we can do those extractions in house ( we had asked months prior when daughter went in for appointment and said they have in house dentist)   so we went in. Dentist that could do extractions wasnt there..they'd be there either Thursday or saturday..hmm...  they suggested a cleaning of my husbands teeth..  First they said hed need a deep clean for 800 in 2 separate times.. No...or the normal clean 169.. And to keep them clean until Thursday..Fair enough my husbands teeth probably needed the clean. We also got a quote for 6000(mother was right next to me)  because now he needs all his fillings fixed has a lot of cavities and so on...I went in for wisdom teeth that's it. Yes they x ray I get it but I'm not paying 6000 for everything when we were quoted a lot less awhile back (for wisdom teeth only) I asked because i was shocked if we could do those over time....and I was snapped at "we don't do it like that because they are all next to each other" ok so I need to come up with 6000 all at once for stuff we didnt come in for? Well my husband was supposed to get a print out. Nothing.(I had to go to work)  They told him they would call him for either Thursday or sat when the dentist that was supposed to be there Monday would actually be there. He ended up calling twice( wed because he hadnt heard anything) with no answer and left messages. No response. Called today. They called him Garrett my husband asked if they were sure they were talking about right person...my husband's name is not Garret..snapped at again"yes I know who I'm talking about" wow...and said that all of a sudden they recommend an oral surgeon but will see if the other Dr could do it after all ok..well my husbands teeth are still in no resolution. I don't leave bad reviews but this was really frustrating. My daughter went here for her first dental appointment no problem my mom goes here.. But this was ridiculous...so 169 later and well probably go in and theyll say he needs another cleaning..so wasted money no solution. My mom offered to pay for the extractions which is very nice of her but what were getting is that since were not paying for everything else they don't even want to do the wisdom teeth...I know reviews don't matter but I really was frustrated.. ..but ill be in Tommrow to speak to someone.
