    Shrimp fried rice
    Kehau S.

Ordered several dishes using Uber Eats. Our favorite was the Mongolian beef and Spicy Eggplant with tofu. Both dishes were perfect. The shrimp fried rice was okay. I plan to scramble some eggs tomorrow morning and use it for breakfast. However, the Garlic Shrimp had the perfect amount of garlic. It was overcooked and tough, shrimp fell apart while separating the shell from the shrimp. Shrimp cooks in about 2 minutes, so no need to overdo it. The shrimp was rubbery and there was way too much salt. I usually sauttee shrimp in good quality olive oil and use little salt. Otherwise, big portions and no need to order rice as 3 dishes come with huge (2) scoops. Gau Gee was excellent!Great value for the money. Mahalo for your speedy delivery through Uber Eats!

    Seafood crispy noodle to go

I tried yummy kitchen for the first time and was very happy with the food and service. I had some questions about the menu and the staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the seafood crispy noodle to go and it was nicely packed with the noodles and seafood and sauce separate so it wouldn't get soggy. They also use good quality plastic to go spoons. I will be coming back often.

A new Chinese place to try! Sure! Ordered the salt and pepper fish and some char siu. The fish was seasoned well and cooked good, but slightly greasy. The char siu was ok but not the best. Overall it's a okay little place but the hunt continues!

Chinese food does not disappoint! This new restaurant took over the old Wok Grill Express, and it was probably one of the best takeout experiences of my life. I made a phone order not knowing how long it would take and they told me 10 minutes! I showed up 10 minutes later and it was already packed waiting for me hot on the counter. The food was phenomenal and the service so friendly. Also pretty affordable considering the price of takeout everywhere else nowadays. This is definitely my new go-to Chinese restaurant close to home.

You can order plates with rice or ala carte. Their beef and bittermelon was very good especially the sauce. The gau gee is huge, crunchy, and the pork is juicy. My daughter said the salt and pepper shrimp had alot of taste and was spicy. The beef chow fun, mapo tofu, and the combo char siu roast pork was also good. Each plate came with white rice or had the option for fried rice. Had enough food for 2 meals. Service was friendly and the food took about 10-15 minutes with a couple ahead of me. We will be back again.

Excellent food. Large portions. Worth the price. Service is really great. The nice thing is that they have complementary water.

Only tried their beef chow fun today, but it was legit. Lots of "wok hei" IYKYK. Good ratio of beef and bean sprouts to look fun. Food is made to order, so it's hot and fresh when you get it. Good prices and good portion for the price too. They are located in the same parking lot as Foodland right next to Subway on California Ave. Very nice staff as both the cashier and cook thanked us when we left. Will definitely go back to sample the rest of the menu.

This Chinese restaurant just opened. We tried several of their dishes and they were extremely delicious, with a very authentic Chinese flavor. It's the best Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at. The staff were very polite and friendly. The restaurant's environment was very clean and tidy. They will have roast duck in the future. We will definitely come back.

Reasonably priced and extremely popular. The chicken was fried in bite sizes with a crispy coating and hints of Chinese 5 spice. It was served on a bit of cabbage with fried basil. If you order the sauce that goes with it, you'll get a slightly sweet accent to the chicken. Grandpa Rolling Beef is a creative braised beef rolled in a scallion pancake with extra veggies. Great flavors with a crunchy texture. The joong or zong zhi was mochi rice with pork and preserved egg. If you were looking for home style sticky rice, you got it here with a bit of a light sauce. The preserved egg brings back memories of Popo's kitchen/ your childhood. We tried Taiwan tofu pudding for dessert. You should order it even if you order nothing else. Perfect for two. Silky tofu in a slightly sweet sauce with shaved ice, boba and peanuts combine for a perfect dessert. Not heavy and just sweet enough to tempt a non-dessert person. A return to this restaurant is always warranted! Give it a try!

The menu has a nice variety of authentic Taiwanese options, and the portions were satisfying. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and had a relaxed vibe that made it easy to enjoy the meal. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service could have been a little more attentive, and a couple of dishes didn't quite wow me as much as I expected for the price. Even so, I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. If you're looking for quality Taiwanese food on Oahu, Fooki is worth a visit. Forgot to capture few pics

Their lunch plate is $17.50 without upgrades and comes with your choice of meat, two scoops rice, cabbage, and a gaugee. You can upgrade for $1 to fried rice or cake noodle or combo meat. The lunch plate is more expensive than the one at Mei Mei but it's twice the size and can feed two not starving people. I came around after 1230p and they had already run out of fried rice which was sad, I think the guy in front of me may have gotten the last order! So definitely go on the earlier side of lunch if you want to make sure they have everything you want. This is located on the second floor of the shopping center above Times (same level as McDonald's), just at the top of the escalators. Take out only. Place your order with the nice lady at the front, then wait until she calls your order out to pick up and pay. At peak lunch hour this can take 5 to 7 minutes. Credit card surcharge. There are a few shady tables on the second floor patio you can sit at to eat.

Also, the Hong Kong MilkTea was excellent with a cute little frozen tea, teddy bear on it. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves celebrating the service was excellent! Our server made great recommendations. Unfortunately, it was one of the biggest disappointments of my vacation. The Singapore crab completely missed the mark. Instead of the rich, savory, slightly sweet and spicy flavor I was expecting, it tasted like it was covered in plain tomato sauce with very little seasoning. There was no depth or authentic flavor at all. The salted egg yolk wings were just as disappointing. They were incredibly bland and lacked the rich, buttery, savory salted egg flavor that makes this dish so popular. I honestly don't understand why these are recommended as signature dishes. I came in with high expectations based on the reviews, but left wondering why anyone would recommend such bland, overly saucy food. There are far better places to experience authentic Singapore-style flavors. Worst meal of our trip.

The first thing I saw when I walked in was the owner making dumplings by hand. That immediately gave me the feeling I was in the right place. Growing up I watched my own Mom make our version of dumplings, so seeing that kind of care and craftsmanship felt familiar. The owner was warm and very welcoming, and as each dish was completed she brought it out fresh from the kitchen, which gave me a chance to taste the food while it was still steaming. It was hot, but I could not stop myself from sampling it :) Everything I ordered was delicious and clearly made fresh. I'll be honest though, watching the dumplings being prepared right in front of me was a real highlight. I'm sure that some of you out there can relate to this. I also had the chance to meet owner's mother and another gentleman who I believe may have been family, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is small, but it did not feel rushed. We had a good time talking story while the food was being prepared. It was a challenge for me to drive home with all that food in the back of my car. I was tempted to pull over and just indulge, but I remembered that I had to share it lol My summary? Good food, genuine hospitality, and a great first impression. I will definitely be back.
