There were a few bumps in the road, mostly from my side of things (insurance, dry rot, the holidays) He was out to my house several times as we navigated the situation. The construction side came out as well. But fortunately, the dry rot was not nearly as bad as it looked to be, so I didn't need to utilize them. I saw another review that stated they couldn't use the fixture they wanted. Zach was VERY specific on which valve he preferred and why. You have to get specific trim kits to fit specific valves. Take notes and ask questions. I would definitely use Zach and Mad Piper plumbing in the future. I did comment to Zach on communication. That being said, call and your responses will be much quicker than the text option or email.

When our water heater failed, we contacted them again for a replacement and several electrical projects, including an EV charger installation. The salesperson who came to our home told us he could offer a particularly good deal and an additional 10% discount if work started immediately. Based on those representations, we signed the estimates and proceeded. Shortly after work began, we started researching the pricing and became concerned that the quoted costs were far higher than market rates. For example, we were quoted approximately $7,500 for a replacement water heater and installation. Our later research indicated the unit retailed for about $2,350, leading us to question the overall pricing. In total, Seatown's billings approached $17,000. Based on our own research and discussions, we believed a reasonable price for the completed work was closer to $8,500. We requested a detailed review of the charges before making additional payments. After discussions with Seatown, the company reduced the total cost by approximately $7,000. We ultimately paid about $8,500, including our down payment. We also discovered that a required electrical permit had not been obtained before work began. The permit was secured approximately one month after completion of the work. During the subsequent city inspection, the work initially failed inspection and required corrective action before ultimately passing. Our concerns were not with the workers themselves, who were generally professional and courteous. Rather, they involved the pricing, sales process, and permit handling. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend obtaining multiple bids, asking detailed questions about permits, and carefully reviewing pricing before signing any agreement. I bought a new home(new to me) and on the third night my pipes clogged. I went down into crawl…read morespace and could feel all my waste pipes full until it goes down into the ground and septic. I called multiple places and non of them answered except Mr. Rooter. I had Mr. Rooter come out the next day since it was 9pm when this happened. Mark came out and unclogged it and notice the inlet baffle to my septic was loose and had a permanent tilt upwards. Mark pointed out he saw a glob of cooking grease come out when unclogging it. He also pointed out a sheen of oil mixed in with the solids. So the previous owners were just dumping whatever down the drain. Mark scheduled me for the Field coordinator come out the next day to camera the pipes (no extra charge to camera the pipes). Vinnie showed up with the camera and found that the pipe between my clean out and septic was bowing down for for about two feet long(I was there and saw it on camera as he did it) So there was standing water filling up the pipe half way and slowing the solids down where it was easy to clog up. Vinnie was very nice and professional and explaining what they needed to do to fix it. He gave me an estimate to fix it and encouraged me to get another estimate from another company and that if they beat Mr. Rooters estimate let them know and they'll try match. I did get another estimate and it was a little bit lower but they didn't have the 2 year labor warranty or 2 part warranty, like Mr. Rooter. So I called Vinnie back and sent him the estimate from another company and they matched their estimate. I didn't get the name of the plumber that came out and dug the hole and fixed the pipe but I got to talk to him and he notice pipe was cracked and broke when he uncovered it. He also notice when they built the house in 2006 they never put crushed rock under/around the waste pipe to keep it from settling(is what had happened to the pipe and made it bow downwards). So he replace the pipe and put crushed rock around it. When he dug the hole, he put plastic down on the grass then put the dirt he was digging out, on the plastic. So when he fixed the pipe, he covered all the dirt up and the hole up with more plastic and put caution cones and fence around it all. We had to wait couple days for the inspector come out and make sure everything was installed correctly(Mr. Rooter dealt with the inspector and it was part of the estimate they gave me). Couple days later I notice the hole filled back in and everything cleaned up. This was back in November when all this happened and it's end of December and no clogs. Thank you employees of Mr. Rooter, they were nice, professional and explained everything. Side note for people reading, DO NOT USE AQUA TEST for any septic or plumbing. (MVL INC DBA Aqua Test Inc) located in Maple Valley. Our HOA has them do a yearly inspection and it turns out they were reporting that there was this same problem with the septic from 2007-2013. After 2013 they stopped reporting it. The person I bought the house from has lived in it from 2006 - - 2021. It was never fixed by the previous owner, she doesn't deny not fixing it or couldn't provide any receipt. But since Aqua test for some reason stopped reporting it and our realtors didn't put an addendum 22S in our house buying contract, we got hosed and had to pay for this out of our pockets. Again don't use Aqua test in maple valley.
