Had them fix leak. Overnight all fittings leaking still. It looks like Frankenstein attacked my pipes! Then the tech sent out to fix it came unprepared even though I sent photos and communications as to what was leaking! Spoke to dispatcher and had a plan for next day with expert tech. Different dispatcher rudely changed everything and extremely condescending and rude. I paid their bill on day 1 and day 4 plumbing still leaks and tech is no show! Obviously upset this dispatcher woman giggled thinking it was funny??? I missed the humor! UPDATE: 7/7/2021 - Mr Rooter of Everett came back out and honored their guarantee and fixed it completely. Just wanted to provide some comments about service we received. Had a slow kitchen drain and slow washing machine drain. First Tech came out and tried for 2 hours to get kitchen sink to work using a snake. Couldn't get it done due to access, said another team would come the following day to sort it out. Second team came snaked washing machine drain and cleared it. Then worked on kitchen sink. Snake also cleared the drain and paid $900+ for that service. After team left I went downstairs and was greeted with water in my basement (I guess that is why the drains were working so well). Called back and team came back to assess situation, at least $2800 more to fix the problem and another day. Not trying to over dramatize, but when you are done looking at your bill of almost $5k, the way things were left at the end was odd (water on the floor and a wide open kitchen cabinet). Understand you had to cut holes in my cabinetry and wallboard but now I have more work to do than was originally discussed (to close up the wall) as the hole is much bigger now. I understand pipes were old and I asked to do 1 additional job which took about 30 mins or less to install two fittings and cost $1000? (the team had the parts in the truck). Been using them for 5 years, will suggest to friends and family to go elsewhere. All this for slow drains. Update as of 1/22/24. Team came back snaked Washing machine drain, still causing overflow. Was told if the snake does not work, then we will need a camera (which is what we asked for at the beginning, but was contacted and told "you dont need a camera for this job). Called phone number provided and they didn't know how to reach Vinnie (who I was directed to call). Was put thru to Robert Miller (GM) and left a message. read more

Mr. Rooter's technicians are knowledgeable and dependable. I worked with two Mr. Rooter employees, Ken and Alex, on two different days that were sent out to access my problem at hand. Being a first time home owner, and only having lived in my home for one month, you can only imagine the stress and anxiety I was going through. I know it sounds dramatic, but having little to no knowledge about taking care of a home and the responsibilities that come with it made me fear for the worst. Ken and Alex both ran tests and managed to correctly inform me of what could be causing the problems I was having with my toilet. I bought a new home(new to me) and on the third night my pipes clogged. I went down into crawl space and could feel all my waste pipes full until it goes down into the ground and septic. I called multiple places and non of them answered except Mr. Rooter. I had Mr. Rooter come out the next day since it was 9pm when this happened. Mark came out and unclogged it and notice the inlet baffle to my septic was loose and had a permanent tilt upwards. Mark pointed out he saw a glob of cooking grease come out when unclogging it. He also pointed out a sheen of oil mixed in with the solids. So the previous owners were just dumping whatever down the drain. Mark scheduled me for the Field coordinator come out the next day to camera the pipes (no extra charge to camera the pipes). Vinnie showed up with the camera and found that the pipe between my clean out and septic was bowing down for for about two feet long(I was there and saw it on camera as he did it) So there was standing water filling up the pipe half way and slowing the solids down where it was easy to clog up. Vinnie was very nice and professional and explaining what they needed to do to fix it. He gave me an estimate to fix it and encouraged me to get another estimate from another company and that if they beat Mr. Rooters estimate let them know and they'll try match. I did get another estimate and it was a little bit lower but they didn't have the 2 year labor warranty or 2 part warranty, like Mr. Rooter. So I called Vinnie back and sent him the estimate from another company and they matched their estimate. I didn't get the name of the plumber that came out and dug the hole and fixed the pipe but I got to talk to him and he notice pipe was cracked and broke when he uncovered it. He also notice when they built the house in 2006 they never put crushed rock under/around the waste pipe to keep it from settling(is what had happened to the pipe and made it bow downwards). So he replace the pipe and put crushed rock around it. When he dug the hole, he put plastic down on the grass then put the dirt he was digging out, on the plastic. So when he fixed the pipe, he covered all the dirt up and the hole up with more plastic and put caution cones and fence around it all. We had to wait couple days for the inspector come out and make sure everything was installed correctly(Mr. Rooter dealt with the inspector and it was part of the estimate they gave me). Couple days later I notice the hole filled back in and everything cleaned up. This was back in November when all this happened and it's end of December and no clogs. Thank you employees of Mr. Rooter, they were nice, professional and explained everything. Side note for people reading, DO NOT USE AQUA TEST for any septic or plumbing. (MVL INC DBA Aqua Test Inc) located in Maple Valley. Our HOA has them do a yearly inspection and it turns out they were reporting that there was this same problem with the septic from 2007-2013. After 2013 they stopped reporting it. The person I bought the house from has lived in it from 2006 - - 2021. It was never fixed by the previous owner, she doesn't deny not fixing it or couldn't provide any receipt. But since Aqua test for some reason stopped reporting it and our realtors didn't put an addendum 22S in our house buying contract, we got hosed and had to pay for this out of our pockets. Again don't use Aqua test in maple valley. read more

We called very early November to get an estimate to install a half bath in an out building. Scheduled for Monday after Thanksgiving 8am-11 but was told we were first on the list. They said they would call an hour before arriving. Waiting waiting waiting after not hearing by 10:30 I called them and was informed they got tied up on earlier call and the new window was 1 to 4 pm. We opted to reschedule for wednesday 8 to 11. Received phone call at approx 8:40 they were on their way and would be here in 15 minutes. At 9:37 I called to find out where they were. Was told they didnt know they would send him a message and get back to me. At which point my husband said enough and we cancelled and we would go with another companyand to Please let him know. 10:15 am the man knocks on our door. They obviously do not care about our time and do not needour money. Very disatisfied. Would have given zero stars if possible. 12 noon update- received a call from company apologisong. We had the return pipe from our kitchen sink develop a leak, which we noticed on a Sunday around noon. Mr. Rooter was the first plumbing company we called which could service us same day. A plumber arrived within the agreed time frame a few hours later, which was great. Unfortunately, it cost $550 to repair a single leaky galvanized coupler (the plumber entered this into his iPad app, and that as the quote that came out). The plumber did give us $100 off once he had completed the work, but for at most a half hour of work $550 (post tax) is totally nuts. We did agree with the price beforehand (I mean, we wanted to use our sink, and I am not a plumber), but when ultimately it takes less than half an hour there should be some semblance of reasonableness to the pricing. Moral of the story, Mr. Rooter will get the job done but for completely unreasonable prices. (The plumber personally was a nice guy, and seemed apologetic) read more

mr rooter promises to be a gentleman and a "mister" by bringing their own door mat and wearing slippers over their shoes but that didn't happen when my mr rooter came in to give me a quote on replacing my bathroom sink. i was hoping to experience it after seeing the company featured on the show undercover boss, but nope. i had a crack in my sink and was informed that i needed to have it completely replaced, which i expected. what i didn't expect was to be quoted $450 to replace it. no way and no thank you. i can get the same service from a lowes or home depot for HALF the price. i didn't move forward with the quote and if i had, i don't expect it to be different from a home depot or lowes. plus, i'd also look into other local mom and pop shops because i know it would either be the same price as the other stores or even cheaper. read more

Although I originally had some issues with Mr.Rooter's services, their reaction to my concerns was professional and responsive. They accepted responsibility in resolving the problem and agreed to return and correct it. I was more than happy to pay them for their services, but they refused to charge me. We all err from time to time. What makes a business 5 star is not what they charge, but how they resolve problems. Mr. PEIMAN KARIMI. My wife and I have so much great comments to say about our Service (Very) Professional Mr. PEIMAN KARIMI. We are located in the Mill Creek, WA area. Mr. KARIMI works out of Kirkland, WA. Mr. KARIMI arrived at our front door all masked up, boot covers on, AND standing at a distance to greet us. Great start. Showed Mr. KARIMI to our upstairs master bathroom where we had a broken hot water line and a mini-flood caused by this DIYer! Mr. KARIM advised wouldn't be a difficult fix but explained in detail (educated) us on what he would be doing for the fix. Mr. KARIMI also advised to replace our 4 cookie-cutter-type plastic shut-off valves. He showed us the valves he would be using and why we should replace them. Our thinking since he was already in there, be a good idea to replace them. Mr. KARIMI even gave me some advice on the other plumping type projects he saw in the master bathroom. Really, a plumber going above and beyond what he was here for? Not just a plumber but an educator and overall wonderful human being! Thank you for providing a memorable experience in a stressful time for us! We have your card, we will be asking for you if we ever have another plumbing need (hopefully not in a emergency situation). What a joke. Made appt for 12:00 to 1:00 called them when they were not here. O'h be there in hour. 2:00 not here so call them back Oh be there between 4:00 and 6:00 they show up at 5:00 after waiting all day they know we have a blocked sink they do bait and switch. Oh now that we are here is 290.00 to tell u whats wrong and how to fix. They could have told us there was a troubleshooting fee. There is really not gonna be a free estimate. The tech (Jesse) I had was amazing. He was nice, courteous, and professional. He gave us a great deal on the replacement of our water heater and removal. He got the job done in a timely manner and it was done to perfection. Afterwards, we had a small leak related to some of the work he had done, and we were able to get him back out the next day to fix it.I was very pleased with the service I was provided by both Jesse and the staff I spoke with on the phone at Mr Rooter, and would gladly come to Mr Rooter again when I need other services they provide. read more

The technicians were professional and courteous, and started working immediately. I'm really unhappy. I Called Mr Rooter to fix a broken drain pipe from my kitchen sink down in my crawl space. They refused to even look at it until I had a service come sanitize the space which cost me $1100. So I did that, and scheduled Mr Rooter to come out and fix the issue as I explained in detail on the phone. After multiple schedule delays from Mr Rooter they made it out without any apology to my time which caused me to loose a day's pay at work. When they finally made it out the gentleman informed me he was the wrong type of plumber and couldn't work on my issue because it was under ground in my crawl space. Again, I had explained this in detail on the phone. After more back and forth Mr Rooter told me they couldn't even quote the job until they sent a camera down the pipe to know where the break was which would cost me another $700! $700 before I even have a clue how much the fix is going to cost. Even after I requested that they just replace the whole length of the pipe, they refused to quote with the $700 investment. That just didn't make any sense since I was asking them to replace the whole pipe. In the end, I just couldn't go with this company. They were late, rude, and expensive. That does not give me any confidence in their quality. One clarification is that the gentleman that came onsight was actually respectful and apologetic, but he couldn't do anything and his company is horrible. Just stay away is my advice. read more

I had a a clogged drain in my house - - and wanted the problem fixed ASAP. I called several plumbers - but I got their voicemail. So I called a few more - - but they could not come out until a week later. Eventually I called Mr. Rooter of Everett- - and they were very kind and very professional on the phone - - and told me a technician could be there within the hour. And sure enough - - the technician did show up - and he evaluated the problem. He was very professional and very friendly. Thanks to the technician - - Shawn of Mr. Rooter-- we were able to get our problem resolved. if you want an expert to address your plumbing problems - - I highly recommend this company.
