This was my third time coming here and I've always had a nice experience. The first time I came with my fiancé they were pretty busy since it was during the summer but the food that we did get was really good. We got the honeydew regular and honey bread. The most recent time we came in was tonight. We ordered honey bread again, a honeydew shaved ice and strawberry shaved ice. The girl that rang us up seemed new and ended up making our order wrong. She gave us a mango instead of honeydew. My fiancé had second thoughts about wanting the strawberry one anyways so we told them the order was wrong but that we will pay for the extra mango one. The owner I'm assuming, was there and helped the girl and told us it was their mistake so we don't have to buy it but we did anyways. She put it into the freezer for us so we can have it to go. She gave us complimentary green tea ice cream on our honey bread, which it usually doesn't come with. They were really nice about everything and while we were eating the owner asked us if we wanted a taiyaki on the house for the inconvenience. I've had their taiyaki before and they're pretty good. So we ended up with more desserts than we necessarily needed, but everything just tasted sooo good! The ambiance is really nice, there's cute decor on the walls, the food was really really good and the owner was so sweet! This will definitely be one of our go to places! read more

Mediocre boba drinks. I stopped by on Saturday night at 8pm. 3 teenagers working and I was basically the only customer. It took 20 minutes to get my order (2 milk tea drinks and 2 taiyaki pastries). Jasmine milk tea was extremely bitter and the boba was not sweet enough. House milk tea was better. I couldn't finish my drink. There are too many boba competitors in the area to provide this kind of service and drinks. We will not be back! read more

I was very impressed with Heavenly Kup. Although what they refer to as shave ice, where I come from it's called 'snow.' Other than that the items on the menu were very familiar and tasted super authentic. My favorite was the Matcha "shave ice." It was garnished with various types of mochi, sweet red bean and shaved almonds. I also tried the Jasmine milk tea and a Nutella Taiyaki. If for nothing else, I will definitely be back to try the other Taiyaki flavors, but I will probably order more stuff too. Yumm!!! I loved their Jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly as well as their mango shaved ice. Both were slightly sweeter than necessary but not sweet to the point of an instant cavity. I personally enjoyed the sweetness level. The mango ice was so soft and flavorful; it's just the right snack or dessert to treat yourself to on a hot day. Service is super friendly and they have an instagramable angel wings wall (well, most of their food items are instagramable too). They have free WiFi; the login info is on little post-it notes along the window table bench. My only suggestion for management is to put all of the add ons on the digital menus. I was unfortunately not as impressed with Heavenly Kup as I wanted to be. I tried the Heavenly shaved ice (dairy free, yay!), the jasmine milk tea, and both the nutella and custard taiyaki. I was a huge fan of the shaved ice. The mango was fresh and sweet, and the little bubbles of flavor burst in my mouth and provided both texture and additional flavor. The jasmine milk tea was interesting, but not something I would order again. The jasmine flavor was on the strong side, and, like most floral flavors, ended up tasting soapy because it was too strong. The nutella taiyaki was delicious, but the batter wasn't quite cooked through on mine, and the custard taiyaki had pretty much no custard on the inside at all. Not sure what happened to it, but the fish was hollow. If I were in the area, I might stop in for the shaved ice, but I can't say that I would go out of my way to come to this shop. I will start with what I liked.. The shaved ice. I got the strawberry. I loved the strawberry drizzle..the shaved ice was like snow on my tongue and the fresh sliced strawberries were a nice touch. The actual shaved ice didn't add as much flavor as I would have hope. I was looking for that vanilla to come on and play off of that strawberry drizzle but it failed short. It was a nice refreshing treat that you will not feel guilty afterwards for indulging in. The Thai milk tea I would have liked more flavor in the tea and the bobba was pretty bland. Now tayaki I actually liked the moochie texture the custard filled one delivered but the sweetness was really subtle. It's not as sweet so if that's your thing, roll with this one! + Jasmine milk tea: good and basically what you'd expect = Mango shaved ice: This was just ok. It tasted a little too artificial for me. = Tiger milk tea: Definitely interesting. Was intrigued by the appearance and heard of similar milk tea styles in NYC so wanted to give it a shot. It's definitely very creamy as it's largely milk, and almost had a smokey Chinese medicine flavor due to the brown sugar syrup on the sides and bottom. The name of this dessert cafe fits the bill: it sure is heavenly! I came in here for a Yelp Elite event and got a free sample of the taiyaki, snow shaved ice and a drink. I picked out a Jasmine Milk tea, mango shaved ice, and a custard taiyaki. The milk tea and shaved out came pretty quickly, and everything is made to order, so you know it's fresh! The jasmine milk tea was fragrant, sweet but not overbearing and delicious! The shaved ice was so soft, almost like snow. There's mango jelly, and a custard-like mango jelly at the bottom too. I live for mangos and this was a perfect pick me up!! The taiyaki took about 5 minutes to come out but it's because it's made with love. It's crispy, flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. Last week I finally had the chance to visit here and everything was awesome! I order a Tiger Milk Tea and tried a sample of the Oreo shaved ice. I also tried their Taiyaki filled with custard. So delicious! The service was amazing and I was able to meet the owner Lauren. She's so sweet and I loved how she shared what got her started with this business. The shop has a beautiful mural for all of your Instagram shots and it's definitely a great place to meet up with friends to catch up over some milk tea or coffee and yummy desserts. I came here for a yelp event and I'm so glad I did! This little shop is next to a Mediterranean restaurant and parking is plentiful. I tried the heavenly latte, the mango shaved ice and the red bean and custard taiyaki. First off the heavenly latte was incredibly strong but flavorful so if you like coffee this is the drink for you! I also had the mango shaved ice which was so delicate and delicious. It would be amazing in the summer because the ice is like little snowflakes and it's so refreshing. Then the taiyaki. They are made fresh and they come super hot. The red bean taiyaki actually had sweet red beans in it instead of the red bean paste and it was perfect! The custard taiyaki was just okay but it wasnt bad. The good: shaved ice BUT not so good in a cup. The shaved ice was on the bottom with ice cream and fruit on top. So in order to get all 3 on a spoon, the toppings kept falling out. Also when you get to the bottom, the syrup sunk to the bottom so it was extra sweet at the end. It's pretty but not functional. The not so good: honey bread and taiyaki. I've actually never had honey bread so I can't compare but this left me no desire to try it elsewhere. Chewy bread with uneven drenching of honey with chewy ice cream on top. The bread was about $6-7 topped with ice cream made it $9-10. The taiyaki was $1 each if ordered with a drink. It was crunchy but tasted burnt and the custard filling had no flavor. It took 2 employees quite a while to make a slush, smoothie, 2 shaved ice, honey bread and 2 taiyakis with no one else there. I finished the shaved ice cups before the honey bread and taiyakis came out and mine was #4 out of #6 done. They have too many items on the menu to make any one item stand out. read more

10/9/2019 I found myself free around 3:00 and decided to check out Heavenly Kup for their Yelp Elite event. What a great dessert bar! It is conveniently located off Park Blvd. near the Shops at Willow Bend. Very clean and bright and easy to get to. I've never had shaved ice before, and was interested in trying it. I was delightfully surprised - it had the texture of fresh snow, just lightly sweetened and covered with fruit. I chose the Mango, and loved the chunks of mango and 'mango pops' ... little pearls of mango that burst in your mouth full of mango juice. I also tried the taiyaki - a fresh crispy waffle shaped like a fish and filled with a variety of different flavors. I couldn't resist the custard filling, which they make in house and was rich and creamy without being overly sweet. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and told me all about the different options and how they are made. Very pleasant experience. This is a perfect place to stop in for something sweet, that is light and not overpowering. It would be great after a meal or at the end of a shopping day at the mall. Trendy cafe near the predominantly Asian food scene by UT Dallas. The space is only a couple years old, so it's got modern furnishings and big windows for an open feel! They offer trendy and fun small bites and drinks. Lots of bobba drink options and multiple flavors of taiyaki on offer. My most memorable taiyaki was the custard one. Smooth, creamy and eggy custard filled the crispy waffle taiyaki. The red bean filling is actual red beans, not red bean paste. Tiny red beans swim in a brown sugar like syrup, for that filling. The strawberry shaved ice dessert I got did not have flavored ice, or the flavor was really subtle. Rather, it was soft, unflavored ice with a drizzle of something like a strawberry yogurt and tipped with fresh fruit and cereal. I'm really interested in trying the dessert bread that I see in a lot of Instagram food pictures offered here. It looks big though, so I may need to share. read more

Came here couple of times now: once for drinks and the other time for shaved ice. I tried out the Korean plum tea. I personally did not like this at all. It was overwhelmingly sweet for a tea, and I didn't like how there were pulps in it. As for the shaved ice, it's pretty delicious. I think it's condensed milk-based which is maybe why the shaved ice had a creamy texture to it. I enjoyed the strawberry flavor. I love how they also added fruity pebbles and a vanilla ice cream on top which tasted even better. Wifi is available here, and noise level is low. I was looking for a shaved ice alternative to Snow City Cafe (Snowy Village) in Carrollton since it happened to be closed that day and I was craving shaved ice. I came across Heavenly Kup and was excited to try it. The shaved ice itself was decent. Not super great but not bad either. In comparison to my normal shaved ice place, it definitely was worse in comparison. As we ate the top layer away, it didn't seem to hold as much taste when the Oreos were all gone. There was a lady working there, who I assumed is the owner. She was extremely friendly and bubbly so that was nice. I think it's nice when an owner goes out of his/her way to make conversation with customers. On a side note, at one point while we were eating, they asked if they could have my boyfriend's card again because it wasn't charged the first time. A few days later, my boyfriend saw that he was charged twice on his card. He made a call to the store the same day and they were able to give him back his money. Easily solved but nonetheless a bit inconvenient. Overall, I probably will not come back for shaved ice, but I may be back to try other items. Who knows? read more

The honeydew shaved ice was a refreshing bowl of thinly shaved ice coated in condensed milk with fresh cantaloupe and honeydew fruit balls and a scoop of ice cream on top. Don't expect this dessert to be sweet, because it's not, but to an Asian palette, it's perfection. I love how thinly shaved the ice is- it's like snow that just melts in your mouth. The fresh fruit balls on top add fresh flavor to the ice as well. The shaved ice comes in a variety of sizes- get a small cup for yourself or a large cup to share with friends! My absolute favorite thing I tried was their taiyaki that comes in red bean, custard, nutella or cheese. I went with one red bean and one nutella. The taiyakis are freshly made- so be patient, they do take some time. But boy oh boy, they are amazing- a crispy waffle outside, chewy mochi-like texture on the inside and a nice even layer of red bean, custard, nutella or cheese in the middle. The outside is a perfect light crispy texture with a soft and warm inner filling. My sister really enjoyed a pistachio frappe which they had real pistachio pieces. Being a frappe, there will be tiny ice chunks with every sip. If you prefer a smoother blend, you could request them to blend it for a bit longer! Heavenly Kup has seating indoors and outdoors but isn't a super large space. But from what I experienced, everyone left in a timely matter, so seats opened up just in time for new customers. My friend and I tried the honeydew shaved ice (comes with almonds, Matcha pocky sticks, honeydew balls, and vanilla ice cream as toppings) and the Nutella and Red Bean Taiyaki. I came here for the Elite free event. I was Immediately greeted by the young man behind the counter. I got 3 samples. I chose the lychee flavored Thai tea, taro shave ice and cheese taiyaki. The lychee flavor flavored Thai tea was light and refreshing. The taro shaved ice is heavenly. It is rich with condensed milk, sweetened red beans and mochi balls. The cheese taiyaki was golden and crispy but I couldn't really taste the cheese. I have gotten this for free but at $3.5 each, I am not sure if it is worth it. My husband had the cup size matcha flavored shave ice. This is the perfect size for one. In addition to the red beans, mochi balls and sweetened condensed milk, ít is topped with a moon pie. I also had the strawberry shaved ice: the owner told me she always uses fresh fruit in her desserts, and it really does make a difference! I asked for less sugar and it tasted extra extra sweet. I'm only concerned about it because I know how good this place can be and if consistency is an issue, people who try it out the first time may get the impression that it is bad from their first visit if it isn't made by the right person. We tried the bubble teas here last night and unfortunately the place just falls short on flavors. The matcha milk tea and rose milk tea were both watered down slushes with the subtlest trace of flavor. The bubbles were soft and chewy but with meetcha and fat straws around, this place doesn't make the cut. read more
