Booked here through class pass for a gel pedicure and a regular manicure. Definitely NOT worth it. First of all, the nail polish look gross. Some bottles are so old, dirty and dusty. The polish was dried out, gunky and all over some bottles. The manicure was 11 credits, about $25. The lady that did my nails, barely filed my nails, and were all different shapes and some crooked. She semi cleaned up my cuticles and was rough while doing it. My color was sloppily put on. There's bumps and lines and not smooth. She seems to work on the idea of slapping the color on and then using a brush to clean up the mess, and this left a lot to be desired. I could have done a better job at home. The pedicure was ok. It was 26 credits so about $60. For this price my feet were in the water a total of 5 minutes (just plain water at that). She cleaned up my cuticles and before I knew it she was already applying color. There was no scrubbing the heels or anything of the sort. My color looks fine, but again there was no nail shaping so all my toenails look not uniformed. When I asked about scrubbing the dead skin, she said only a "light" scrub and proceeded to grab a wide nail file and scrub my heels with that. She said it was $8 more for a "heavier" scrub. I booked a mani and pedi through ClassPass to try out Heavenly. I enjoyed my experience here. It was efficient and I think the quality is pretty great too. They have two walls of polish, one that is gel and the other regular polish. I took a few minutes to select the ones I wanted. Once I selected a glitter one for my hands, they tested it on one nail and I decided I wanted a layer of color underneath to make the glitter shine more. They were patient with me to make sure I got what I wanted. Two experienced ladies then helped me as I sat in the massage chair, one with the pedi and the other with the manicure. My manicure came out exactly as I wanted, the pedicure was a little messier, but still well done overall. I was out of there in about 40 minutes. read more

I've been coming to Heavenly Nails for years. I always went to the same person for over ten years. Now that she is no longer there, I don't have a dedicated person but I walked in on Friday afternoon and had a great experience. Luckily there was no wait and I was seated immediately for my pedi. I had to skip the massage (insert sad face) because I was in a hurry (poor planning on my part) but the technician was thorough and gentle. I've tried several other places closer to my home, but Heavenly is the most consistent so I think I'll stick with them. There is plenty of parking as a bonus. read more

My basic manicure pedicure looks solid walking away, but this is not necessarily the place you go to be fully pampered. Service is efficient (which I fully appreciate on a weekday!), but I would not say thorough or gentle. For example, one manicurist left a bit of polish on my hand and after a brow wax, no aloe was applied and traces of cotton were stuck to my face. I have a physical disability where my muscles uncontrollably tense up so sometimes it's hard walk and to lay my left hand, in particular, flat and not mess up the polish. My nail lady became increasingly frustrated with me and stressed over the limitations of my hand, unlike I've ever seen before. Other nail salon happily work around it. She then proceeded to ask me various questions. I told her I go to SDSU, and she asked if I had a boyfriend which I said yes to. She asked if my boyfriend helps me walk to class. When I replied no, she said "who does then?" She asked who I live with and didn't understand how I could live alone or operate a car with my hands. This whole conversation was based on her prompting questions for me at random. The judgments towards me were overall very rude and unprofessional. I've been debating whether to write this review for a couple of weeks now, but as my nails have gotten worse, I decided I need to share. I went here on a classpass reservation, one of their last for the day, and got a manicure in 15 minutes. Not a big deal to me, they were getting ready to close and my nails looked fine after. They started to chip after 5 days, again fine, expected after a regular mani, but I noticed after I took my nail polish off that all my nails were covered in crisscross scratches across the surface, like she took a regular file and went over them. (I didn't have gel on before and haven't gotten gel in years.) They've been breaking nonstop since I got them done (3 weeks ago) even after putting special strengthening nail polish. My nails were so long before and they all broke down to the nub and are now breaking below my nail bed because of the scratches. It's painful and ugly. It'll take 6 months - a year for them to get back to normal. read more

By the next day it was completely yellow. Stopped by the salon less than 48 hours later on 7/17/21 and 1.5 hours before closing and they said they didn't know how to help me and to come back the next day. I told her I couldn't come back and she just kept suggesting I return the following day. She called her boss and was still unable to help me. Waiting for the boss to return my call first thing tomorrow morning. 7/18/21- called the salon in the morning to confirm I wasn't going to be wasting my time by going back to the salon again and was told to call back in 15 minutes to talk to the boss. Called back an hour later and was told by Vu that the boss isn't working today. How can they not keep their story straight??. Vu will be texting her "boss" and said he would call me back. Honestly one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. When I walked in I was not greeted. It was very quiet and all of the nail technician seem to be focused on something else. Throughout the entire pedicure I was being up sold and the technician tried many times to get me to pay for more expensive services. I'm just trying to relax, not feel pressured to spend more money than I have. The massage lasted a total of 2 minutes, it was more like she was petting my legs. My boyfriend could do a better job painting my toes. They are not friendly or welcoming and their service is awful. The pedicure was okay but the manicure was the worst I've ever had. - The shaping is off on multiple nails and I was ignored both times I pointed it out. - Instead of soaking to remove the previous gel on my nails they used the electric file to file the whole thing off. Not only did it hurt when she was doing it, but when I removed the gel I found out it also caused damage to my nails - I realized after leaving the salon the coloring was messed up. It had a weird tint on some of the nails which I later found out it was because they didn't cure the gel properly - There were bubbles in the gel of a couple of my nails too - I was getting a pedicure at the same time and instead of the manicurist moving to the other side to do my second hand she had my reaching across the chair. Not only was it awkward and uncomfortable but it also caused the shaping to be off on the whole hand. I immediately wanted to remove my manicure. Anyone who I spoke with about my manicure agreed I should go in and have them redo it, but honestly after that experience I wouldn't want my manicure done by them again, even if it was free. read more
