I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with the quality of my nails considering I paid $160. I came in for a basic French manicure that my nail tech was unable to do and opted for basic red. Expect to pay $10 for cuticles. The polish application around the cuticles was uneven and messy, and the overall finish did not look professional or worth the price point for my pedicure which was $60. I expected much cleaner detail and better workmanship for a premium service. I was bamboozled from the pictures online. I've attached photos for reference because the results speak for themselves. I got my gel nails done here for the first time and was really happy with the result. The technician did a great job matching the shape of each nail and did the small design I requested perfectly--it turned out exactly how I wanted. However, my experience during my return visit for removal was disappointing. Despite calling ahead and booking an appointment, I was made to wait over 30 minutes simply because I wasn't getting any additional services. Several walk-in customers who arrived after me were helped before I was. When I followed up, they told me someone would be with me shortly, but I still had to wait another 10-15 minutes--and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. While the nail work itself is great, the service and time management could really use improvement. If they offered appointments, they should ensure they have the staff available so customers aren't left waiting 30-45 minutes despite scheduling ahead. read more

The salon was clean and bright, I was directed to a chair at a nail station for my manicure and my partner was seated in a massage chair for his pedicure. After having a gel manicure out of state, I really appreciated the attention to detail to my nails they provide here. Also, the nail polishes used are in good condition and tools clean. Also I like that they don't hurt my cuticles with their tools and the gel manicures last longer than 2 weeks (that's when the last one I got out of state started falling apart). I got my nails done August 7th and by August 8th the chrome already came off and black was showing underneath. I asked the technician Helen initially to not use black because I was afraid this could happen and she assured me it would be fine. The next day when I was on my trip out of the city, the chrome came off, showing black on my nails. I come back the next week after my trip to get them redone already confirming I would come in at 5pm and I get a text at 4:53pm asking if they could push it to later because they're running behind. I'm 5 minutes away. I end up waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time for a different technician just for her to botch my nails. Inserting all the photos here. It sucks having this turned on myself because "I didn't want to wait" for my technician. I wasn't even told this till after an after the new tech finished. Mind you I saw my first tech the whole time up until I finished working on someone else? I asked if I can just get a refund for the $25 design and $15 chrome and she said no because it's not in their policy. At this point I just want it done right, my refund and to go somewhere else get these taken off. I'm then told I can wait 1 hour to get my OG tech to redo it. This is the 3rd time. I leave 35 minutes away driving over an hour each time payed $55 for a fill + $25 design + 15+ chrome...$95 + tip over an hour car rides here + 5 hours in the salon total. Just to do a design I've had done before at this exact studio which is why I'm confused as to why they're making excuses about my nails having to be good enough? When prior they never chipped and I loved them so much I wanted to get them again. I've been coming here for 2+ years and have brought over 5+ friend to get pedicures, my boyfriend twice, and referred friends who have gone here after my recommendation. It's seriously so disappointing to be treated like this and to have everyone upset with you the customer when you're paying over $100 for a service that's supposed to be relaxing, fun and self care. Thanks to a last minute very desperate SOS post on my instagram for some fresh nails for the new year, I was led by a friend to mission nails and spa. I found a number on their site that allowed me to text them for an appointment as well as sending pictures for inspiration just to make sure they could do what I was looking for. Their instagram offered some reassurance that they would understand my creative process too! They squeezed me in the next day. It was quite busy on that Friday with it being days before NYE. Diane and Nancy did an INCREDIBLE JOB in collaborating on my vision as well as being so gentle and careful. In previous places I've had to sacrifice a lil blood with the nicks I'd get, as well as suffer from a sensitive toe nail, but not this time! It was perfect! The first time I came in, I had a great experience and a manicurist who paid attention to detail. I recently got a gel manicure, though, that really fell short on expectations. I asked for the same shape on my nails and for them not to make them any shorter. I was shocked to find that the nail tech had removed about two weeks of growth from my left ring finger! The nails were all over the place in terms of shaping - some were at a complete diagonal before I pointed them out to the manicurist. I had to file them all down to the same length and shape to make them look decent and I'm devastated. I was hoping to keep my length but my hopes were sadly dashed. BE VIGILANT about your length and shape while you are being taken care of. ALSO - the tech used an e-file to remove my gel nail polish right down to my natural nail, risking damage. For a salon that charges extra to remove gel polish (even their own), you'd think that they might take better precautions. read more

I recently got my nails done here and wanted to share my experience. I came in very happy, with high expectations based on the reviews, but unfortunately, the service didn't meet those expectations. The older woman who did my nails seemed to have trouble seeing clearly, as she didn't fully remove the old nail polish before painting over it. I politely pointed this out twice, I find it a bit difficult / awkward to speak up in these situations but did it anyway. Anyway, she filed my nails extremely unevenly, & none of them were the same length. I mentioned the shape I wanted beforehand, & I had to remind her again. When I asked her to file them shorter since they were uneven, she became visibly upset, and another person took over. The second person filed my nails quickly but carelessly, causing me to bleed. It was obvious she was trying to show me something... Throughout the process, she pushed my hand away aggressively after finishing each nail, without saying a word. The atmosphere became very uncomfortable, and when she finished, she walked away without a word, leaving me to walk out on my own. I had already paid, but given the passive-aggressive attitude, I decided not to leave a tip. Overall, I do not recommend this place. :/ Oh and the nails chipped the next day. Went here for a dip mani and pedi. The pedicure was awesome, however the dip powder was a horrific experience. The nail tech insisted on doing a clear dip with gel polish. She failed to completely cover my nail with the gel polish leaving the sides of every nail unpolished. It looks very unprofessional and is very unfortunate given the price of the service. Where do I begin? I got pink and white powder ambre nails done elsewhere and I came in because THIS was the closest salon and I had 2 middle fingers that came off. Forget the fact that the nail lady I was assigned couldn't do acrylic nails and forget that she couldn't get them to match. Shape was bad, she don't know how to put on powder properly and the nails were flat, no curve. I had to guide her. Then when she realized that she couldn't match the nails I already had, she mentioned doing a spray paint in order to get the amber look- but with paint. Not what I wanted at all. I told her no when she took out the tools. Well they had already taken my card and charged me for it $5. First of all there is absolutely no reason why I should be charged five dollars just because she did not know how to get the ombre look with pink and white powder, especially after I was that they can do hombre. I showed her my ombre nails with the two nails missing. But to charge me for that? And then not even tell me, there's an extra charge... I didn't know they had charged me until after they told me oh sorry we charged you for the spray paint. The best part is how they made up for it. They gave me a punchcard with five punches out of 10 punches. So when I fill up the rest of the punches, I get five dollars off. As if I actually want to come back to the establishment. On top of all this, I called 10 minutes away and she said she could take me in 15 minutes. I reminded her OK I'll be there in 10 minutes. I had a way 25 minutes after I arrived. read more
