This review is all about (Driscoll brand) STRAWBERRIES (produce, not plants). The rest of Marble Falls, TX, Walmart, and most of their produce, is fine. Grocery store strawberries are routinely big and pulpy (that's a BAD thing!), but the last container we bought at this Walmart (Driscoll brand) was terrible: bright red on the outside but with hard white pulp inside. They sliced like potatoes (and were the color of potatoes inside), and the flavor was almost non-existent. When will produce sellers and suppliers (and inexperienced shoppers who fall for ads that say "big and plump") realize that "big and plump" DOES NOT indicate quality strawberries; the best ones are smaller, red or dark pink all the way through, and have a strong, sweet strawberry taste and (when cut) smell. read more

The goods: employees are usually very pleasant and I love the elderly greeters. Fair prices, clean restrooms and the BEST mangos anywhere within 40 miles. My ONE STAR RATING goes to Electronics associate JOSEPH- was on a personal phone call with his daughter on one AirPod as he was assisting me in purchasing a new Straight Talk Phone and phone card for the first time. Not only did he have an attitude with me for interrupting his phone call and I couldn't tell if he was talking to me or talking to her because he was talking to both of us at the same time - he also sold me the wrong phone card that isn't compatible with the phone I selected. I called a manager when arriving home to tell her my complaint but didn't know the card was the wrong card yet. Then I had to purchase ANOTHER $35 phone card at home online to use the phone. Now I have to drive 30 minutes back to the Walmart to return the incorrect phone card JOSEPH sold me while he was extremely rude on his personal phone call. Flat out terrible! Walmart is the catchall store. I went in for fish food and came out with cookies, chips and dip, cherry tomatoes, extra large swiffer pads, two different types of cheeses and salami. All I really needed was the fish food, well the swiffer pads will come in handy. I will enjoy all the snacks watching football. Walmart got me again. read more

I had a pleasant experience shopping the store and then spending the night in my Sprinter van in the parking lot. Groceries and personal care items were well stocked and leveled, I was able to find the few bits I needed without issue. Paying for it at the self-checkout was quick. Bathrooms were quite clean. The parking lot area needed some attention with the cart corrals and some of the trash bins were overflowing. They allow overnight parking here so that's a plus. If I could give zero I would have. Brought single tire in and had them change it out for new tire. Only 1 person ahead and it took 4.5 hours to complete something that should have taken 10-15 minutes. Guy that was there should only be a greeter so he didn't have to do anything because he was about worthless. Not giving names. Last thing was I had a giftcard that I had some cash on and it wouldn't take it. When I used the other 3 o gas literally when I dropped the tire off around noon The guy had afew customers deep and he needed a manager to let him know what he needed to do to our purchase. The manager could have easily took us at the other computer to leave but no all he said was this is an easy fix. Just do this and that and you will be fine. Took my Toyota up there for a new battery. After an hour or so they told me after they put in a new battery it wouldn't start. I asked them if they checked the new battery? Was it good? Oh ya they said. They told me it was the security system. It was NOT. They told me it was the starter. It was NOT. They told me it could be the solenoid. It was NOT. They pushed my car out and said I needed to get it towed. I had to call my brother. He came to get me and took me home. I went back up with my F250 and a flatbed to get the car out of there. BUT...I also took a $5 battery checker. My wife plugged it into the cigarette lighter and it said BATTERY DEAD. THE BRAND NEW BATTERY THEY PUT IN A SAID THEY CHECKED IT WAS DEAD. After I showed them this, a guy checked my new battery. DEAD. Replaced the battery and I drove my Toyota home. NOT THE SECURITY SYSTEM. NOT THE STARTER. NOT THE SOLENOID. BUT A DEAD DEAD DEAD BRAND NEW BATTERY!!! ALWAYS CHECK THE BATTERY FIRST BEFORE YOU MAKE THE CUSTOMER GO AND CHECK IT OUT!! I give them 2 stars as at least I got a new battery. read more

There are things about living in a small town that are unavoidable, one of the biggest being is that you use Walmart a lot! This store isn't great, the produce is always on the verge of being rotten, a lot of the times any of the "fresher food" like dairy, meat, and bread are at or beyond expired. so it's a good idea to check dates on everything! Most everything else is your standard Walmart offerings, not huge in inventory so, a lot of times you just have to buy what they have.(common in small Walmart's) they never have lanes open so it's always long lines unless you use self check, which is of course has it's own issues. I have used curbside which was pretty good. and have never had a issue with ordering anything online. Overall the store, being pretty much the only one within 40 miles isn't horrible, but not great either, the employees do try hard to keep it clean, and are usually pretty friendly and helpful. they are extremely overworked, and a bit of an older group. so I applaud their efforts! read more

I and my wife went to Wal Mart last night to beat the crowds. Not one register was staffed. I had to check my own groceries. This paying a profit to Wal Mart to provide that service and by doing it myself gave them even more of a profit. I swear if someone would have tried to stop me on the way out to illegally search the bags I had just bought full of groceries I would have gone off. You don't find many private gas stations anyone and its because they can't compete with big stores like Wal Mart. I stopped for the low price gasoline prices and not only got low prices but long lines, slow pumps, rude service. The worst experience I have ever had with any retail Store! My husband, 1 year old son and I visited this Walmart location two weekends ago. We went to pick up a few t shirts and jeans for my husband & a few thing for myself. Everything was going great up until we checked out. These two men ran up to our cash register at a self check out line and asked if, "everything was OK?". We said yes and continued to leave. As soon as we stepped out the first sliding doors we were AGGRESSIVELY approached by a woman. She immediately accused my husband and I of having, "STOLEN, unpaid merchandise" in our possession. I asked her three times what we stole and told her that we didn't steal anything. She rolled her eyes at us and continued to be very aggressive and rude. If you're going to accuse someone of stealing something you need to have the proof and answers to back it up. So before she could even tell us what we stole she demanded that I give her my ID. At this point I started getting really upset and started crying because I have never been in a situation like this before. My husband grew angry because she continuously denied to tell us what we had stolen. We went to her office and the door was still open at this point and my husband said that he was calling the cops. She told us that if either one of us walked out of the room we would definitely be arrested by the cops. (Idk what for because we didn't steal anything! she's obviously on a power trip). So, when my husband walked out she told me that he was going to be arrested. "I'm just letting you know that since he left the room your husband IS going to be arrested!". They then closed the door and did not allow my husband to come back in (they also accused him of kicking the door which he did not and they have the cameras that they can check) they also told me that I could not leave and whenever I stood up to see if I could at least get my baby the man who was apparently "the witness" told me to sit down amongst other things. As the lady started going through my bags to make sure that I didn't have any stolen, unpaid merchandise she questioned me about the bras that I was looking at and I had to tell her that I don't buy bras from Walmart and I showed her the old one I had on. I emptied my purse and then she asked me, "what's in the back pack?" so I pulled out the 5 diapers, baby wipes and old McDonald's beanie baby toy. (I want to express to you that this backpack was tiny and had Peter Pan on it. It's obviously a children's backpack.) And showed her the inside of the bag which was completely empty at this point. This is where I can only assume that she started grasping for straws because she knew she was in trouble. Everything on our receipt checked out and everything that was inside of my TINY purse and baby bag was obviously ours. So then she questioned me about my husband by saying, "he came out with less than he went in with!" Umm, yeah he did and so did I and the other two men trying on clothes!!!! BECAUSE the lady at the fitting room told us to, "leave what you don't want on the hangers in the fitting room so I can SANITIZE THEM!". When the police arrived they immediately told me to get out of the office and that I was OK to leave. The police also said that they were going to talk to her and tell her what she could and could not tell people because I was ILLEGALLY DETAINED BY A WALMART EMPLOYEE! Both police men expressed to my husband how wrong these two were. I have tried for two weeks to reach out to the manager whose name is Susan and she will not get back to me. I have talked to numerous employees. On top of everything that she said to us that I didn't even mention in this review she never said sorry and she ended up blaming the problem on someone who's in charge of markdowns because I bought three t shirts that were marked down to $2 (there were at least 30-40 of the marked down shirts on a end cap). I'm not stupid and I know when someone is lying. what the lady was dating didn't even make ANY SENSE! She just was trying to come up with something to cover her ass! She accused us of having stolen unpaid merchandise in our cart and never once told us what it was! She continuously questioned us about every department we shopped in because she didn't SEEE US STEAL ANYTHING! I was profiled. My husband was profiled. when we went back to get the names of the two VERY unprofessional wokers who we had to deal with they denied us the right to that information. So, you can wrongfully humiliate us and accuse us of stealing, you can illegally hold me in a room by threatening me and my husband that we WILL DEFINITELY be arrested buy you cant give me any information about yourself? Like a name? All I need to say is that that girl probably doesn't need to be working there anymore for legal reasons and the manager needs her job taken. I just left Walmart Supercenter on Walton Way in Cedar Park. Several weeks ago there was TV coverage on a local station that stated all customers must wear a mask!!! THAT'S NOT TRUE!!! In my 25 minute trip I counted 18 people not wearing masks. I contacted the manager who told me they no long enforce that policy!! Now I know why I haven't been there in 4 1/2 months!!! Ok, so it's Walmart! The parking lot looks like most Walmarts look, dingy and uninviting. But the store was not that bad. I was visiting from out of town and had to make a quick stop for water toys and floaties. The staff was friendly and even though the store was busy there were plenty of lanes open and many with no line. The clothing area looked neat and the aisles looked stocked and tidy. The auto service department at this Walmart is terrible. Went to have my tires balanced and rotated, along with having a tire patched. No problem they say... 2 hours later I go back to find out they won't balance or rotate the tire because, in their opinion, the tires need to be replaced. They still have enough tread for 20k more miles or so. Ok, so is the tire patched??? They are still working on it and it has now been over 3 hours... Don't bring your vehicle here unless you want to be screwed around and have all day to wait. I definitely won't be back!!! read more

A bit of a culture shock if you're use to metro area Walmart's. Location is outdated, inside and out. Very slow paced. The gentleman in front of us paid using benefits and made several different purchases. The cashier didn't mind and even started peeling an orange and eating it while befriending the customer. I was in the store the other day and I spent 150 bucks on some Pokemon cards. I left the store went about my business, got in the car, and as we were driving off it looked like people were filming us which we thought was weird. We were like what the heck are these people looking at? We get down the road like a mile away from the store, and not one, but two cops pull us over! I guess(this is what the cop said as we were standing there and he was radioing back and forth with the Walmart people that sounded like) there was a guy in the store that walked up beside me and asked the cashier something while I was looking at the cards and because I guess that guy stole something (which I have no idea I was not paying attention to him, that guy) had no idea never said a word to the guy and just because of that Walmart has the nerve to falsely accuse and have the police chase us down like we're some sort of criminals. That was over a week a ago. So today I just called the customer service today to ask if they had a certain product in stock, the product is behind the register that's directly in front of customer service. The lady refused to go and check for me! Can you believe that?! I told her I was just there yesterday and they didn't have it and I was curious if they received a delivery like they usually did but no help was given. This is a SUPER supercenter meaning they have a HUGE selection. Overall the store was pretty clean except electronics. At first when I heard one customer complain about waiting 30 minutes for manager to unlock the game case I shrugged it off until I needed them to take off an anti-theft spider. The first person I approached walked away when we made eye contact 15 feet away. The other lady said it would be faster to get done at the front at self checkout when I've finished shopping. I'm going to have to start driving more. I regret every time I have to go to this Walmart. And I always think, "Hey, it can't be bad every time, can it?" It can. Want to know if a microwave is in stock? Make sure you have thirty minutes, have to ask FOUR different sales associates and then be told- "Nope. Don't got it." I want to be mad at the employees who are often rude (but also often polite) and impatient-- but I feel like they act that way because they, in turn, are not being treated well as employees. Because I live 28 miles from WalMart in Marble Falls, it's not convenient but is the closest WalMart to me. I had a problem with my WalMart TracFone that TracFone fumbled with when I called them and spoke to three Customer "Service" reps at increasing levels of authority. Finally, the last rep suggested I go to WalMart for help. I got to WalMart this morning and one employee, "Toni", was working in Electronics and she said she knew about TracFones and would help me. She spent at least 12-15 minutes on the phone with TracFone headquarters and made sure my problem was fixed and that I would leave happy. It was and I did. Granted, this is only one example of competence and fine customer service, but it sure made my day. read more

45 minutes to return a purchase with three people behind the counter but only one at a register. The person in front of me had 5 pairs of pants that all three people had to have an opinon and go over each pair a minimum of 5 times. Time management is not on their minds. Also, discussing a return item for a person behind me in line. Next ten people waiting for the one and only line for real live cashier. Then they opened one other cashier and instead of directing people who had been waiting the longest to that cashier, it is fend for yourself. When I asked Cheryl, "Team Lead" why no one was helping people that had been there the longest I got " It's not my job." ( She was chatting it up with the guy ahead of me in line). But it was her job to give her opinion at the return I mentioned earlier. She stayed behind the counter chatting with employees coming through but could not help anyone standing in line. So much for customer service at the Marble Falls Walmart. I recommend skip it and go into Austin. At least they don't have the assumption they are the only store in town and don't have to give a flip. read more

You really need to read the reviews before using any business. I ordered tires online. Tires are a good deal and delivered on time. The mount, balance and new stems are also a good deal. The tire work was also fast and received a call when they finished. The scratches on one of the alloy wheels are not cool. The wheels are 15 years old and they were not like new, but I didn't need any more blemishes. I suggest buying the tires online and then take them to a tire shop that knows how to handle alloy wheels. READ REVIEWS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH ANYONE, the good, the bad and the ugly. I had to ask five different people to put helium in the balloons for an event I needed in a few hours. People would tell their co-workers right in front of me "that's not in my department" and kept walking. Then when I did get someone to blow them up, they only blew up half the air in it the balloons look like a mess and I still had to pay full price for it.
