Came in with my girlfriend, this was one of her local places from her childhood. We ordered off the breakfast menu. I had Chorizo and eggs, my girlfriend settled on machaca and eggs. Both came with beans, potatoes, and tortillas. The server brought chips, salsa, and hot beans dip. We enjoyed all of them, my girlfriend especially liked the bean dip. The salsa was tasty and had a good amount of heat. The food was tasty and delivered hot. We dug in immediately and got to work on eating meal. We ended up making mini burritos with the tortillas. I highly recommend that method. The tortillas are freshly made and absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed everything and will definitely return.

Authentic Mexican food, Best Michi and great service! Love how it's outdoor feels and the art on the walls truly enjoyed the vibe and music here. Grace was our server, great conversation and recommended all our food, did not disappoint. Thank you Grace, I will be back with my family and more friends next time!

Came in on a Tuesday night. The two servers were attentive and friendly. It wasn't very busy. The food was good. It's not fine dining, but it was good for what it was. I didn't have drinks because I'm doing dry January so can't comment on that. The servers came by often to refill drinks, chips and salsa. The bean deep is delicious!

I have no complaints about this place! All the food was amazing, and the portions were very generous. Every single dish was delicious, and my personal favorites are the Asada fries and the aguachiles. Just beware, the aguachiles are very spicy!!! I went around lunch time and there was plenty of seating. Our server was very sweet as well, and worked very fast. This place would be a great hang out spot to watch sport games, as they serve drinks, and have plenty of tables. The food also came out very fast!

I absolutely loved every bite and sip that went into my mouth, down to the water cuz I'm picky. We were given chips with salsa and a bean chorizo dip... my new fav. The michi was so good that I had to grab another. And my burrito is now my fav wet burrito, although I didn't get rice and beans but they were inside j the e burrito. The service was amazing she was welcoming and fast. And the ambiance felt like I was in Cabo , it was very themed .

Delicious! We got red chilaquiles and quesa birria tacos which comes with 3 . We split those 2 dishes between 3 people and it was plenty of food for all. Consume was a little salty for my preference but overall would certainly return! Also ordered margarita flight which . Loved the little Mexican candy it came with, and I ordinarily avoid those! . Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Adequate for leave groups if needed.

Such a good spot! The food was bomb, the drinks were delicious and the vibe inside is so cute. I had a tamarindo margarita, it was strong and tasty. Tangy with the right amount of sweetness. I also got a mangoniada marg, it was also strong but so good. The only thing I would recommend is the spicy jalapeño marg, it was just that JALAPEÑO. The spice was fine but it needed a little more sweetness to balance out the taste of the jalapeño. The service was great too! The camarones were extra garlicky, just how I like them. The nopales were grilled which I loved! They have a jukebox type thing that you can control through an app on your phone.

Based off my picture, you would think the food was good. It really wasn't. It had no flavor, $16 for one Michelada is insane. I paid $96 for two plates and one michelada. If the food would've tasted good, I wouldn't have mine, but honestly, the food was not good at all!!!! The Chiclaqules barely had any type of cheese.

My wife and I were invited to have lunch at Hecho En Mexico by our two friends at this well know area in El Sereno a suburb of L.A. We have been here before for a fun riser at Hecho En Mexico couple years ago. We never haven't eat at the restaurant before our friend told us the food is really good. When we arrived at the restaurant it was almost packed with people but the waiter found us a table just for the four of us. The atmosphere of the restaurant is live with people celebrating company partys and other occasions. The waite brought us chips and salsa and he ask us our drink order. Then the waiter can back to get our order I order the two chili renello plate and my wife order the taco and chili renello plate. Our friends order different items. First the food is incredible good I enjoy the chili renello they awesome they were very cheesy that I really like and rice and bea.s great flavors from both sides. Overall we enjoy the meal and we give a satisfaction to the cooks for great meals and staff were friendly and helpful. Next time we need to come to Happy Hour on thev weekdays.

This is not based off service only the drinks and appetizers. I ordered a bloody Maria and it's not my cup of tea I love Bloody Mary but this is just lemon juice tabasco sauce, and tomato juice didn't like the flavors ordered an appetizer pork belly bites and was beyond disappointed $20 for fat no pork. Once I tried their appetizer I decided not to order dinner we tried for another type of drink and they only make a limited drinks they didn't even serve an adios. They lost me at the order of fat they tried to serve us. Never coming back

Do they have live mariachi for 2025?

I have never seen any type of live music when I've been there, but they are usually playing very loud Banda music over the house P.A. system. (Not my cup of tea so I had to ask them to lower the volume last time.)

How's the parking situation there, parking on site or do we have to circle the block to find parking?

    Hello, unfortunately street parking only.

    Any happy hour?

No, they don't have happy hour

How long is the wait for 10 people on a Tuesday?

    Happy Monday- Friday only

Do you have live music? If so what days and times?

    Bomb!!

Do you have mariachis or live music? If you do when & what times?

They have a dj (dj RobbieMode) on Wednesdays starting at 7. The guy plays great kroq flashbacks in the all new outdoor bar area.

Do they have michiladas? If so how good are they?

    Micheladas here are the best

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

Located between Koreatown and Pico-Union, this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience from the moment you're seated. My wife and I both ordered the Mole Coloradito with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. One detail we really appreciated was being able to choose between white meat or dark meat--a thoughtful touch that lets you customize your meal to your preference. The mole was rich, complex, and full of flavor, exactly what you would hope for from a restaurant known for its Oaxacan specialties. As a welcome appetizer, they bring fresh chips and salsa to the table, but what really impressed us was when they replaced the salsa with their incredible mole sauce. It was so good we found ourselves dipping everything into it. Both meals were served with rice that was perfectly cooked with a great consistency and flavor. For those feeling adventurous, give the Chapulines (grasshoppers) a try. They may sound intimidating, but they were surprisingly enjoyable and added to the authentic experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and patient with those of us who are not fluent in Spanish. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our visit. Great food, authentic flavors, and wonderful service make Guelaguetza a restaurant we'll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!

As soon as you walk up the stairwell you'll be transported into this super cute place with an outdoor-indoor feel, almost like an elegant treehouse. We were seated on the second level which provided a Birds Eye view of the restaurant. We ordered a few items to share: Cameron ceviche, flautas and for our sweet tooth, French toast paired with a mango sorbet surprise with a candle for our birthdays (tip: we drizzled the melted sorbet on our French toast and took small scoops with each bite - game changer!). Everything was so delicious! We also ordered mocktails, a miche-nada for him and a lemony drink for me. This experience wouldn't have been as great without the exceptional service we had. Our waters were always refilled without asking, our tables were cleaned with every dish, honestly top-notch service! I'm sure they have their reasons, but I was pretty disheartened to see it go. Overall, the menu doesn't have a ton of vegan items, but they do have some room for adjustments if you ask. Despite the menu change, the incredible atmosphere and unique menu still make it a must-try.

My favorite thing about these burritos is how "home-made" they are, the salsas and meats are fresh and taste like they came out of an abuelitas kitchen.
