I ordered the Reuben with corned beef. While the sandwich was big the flavor was lacking. The sauerkraut was tasteless

Weather it's a Heidi's club on marbled rye, Hell's Kitchen or chicken salad you can't go wrong. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Lunch time during the week can get busy but only because of all the regulars from the office park across the street. The only time I have ever been disappointed is when they ran out of roast beef about 2 months ago and had to order something other than my usual (which was also fantastic). Glad these guys are doing so well! I eat here 2-3 time per month. read more

Friendly service from a new employee. Bowl of homemade lentil and brat soup very good. Half turkey bacon sandwich good. Peach caffeinated unsweetened tea really weird taste, nothing like peach or tea.. One negative was that it was over $12 for the afore mentioned items. read more

Staff is always very friendly. Fast service. Fresh bread is always very tasty. Being coming there for a while for the good quality sandwiches. Last few visits tuna has been a little runny. Every time we go its just meh. Not worth the price. The veggie options aren't great we ordered 3 #5's which are fresh mozz w pesto and balsamic. We added tomato (one tiny slice) and lettuce (one tiny piece that didn't cover half the bread). Come on, if I don't have meat in a sandwich load it up with everything else! The cold slaw was also dry- no dressing on it just cold cabbage! All of our sandwiches (which were supposed to be the same) came out all different. Mine without balsamic (but with a bug on my lettuce!) another missing tomato. Just annoying for what you pay. It wasn't as busy inside as it has been in past visits, I'm sure the inconsistency in food is the reason why. read more

Love this place! The Lone Tree Heidi's Brooklyn Deli is by far my favorite! The bread is always fresh, the sandwiches are huge and I can't even begin to describe the potato salad. YUM! The owners and staff are also great. I'm always welcomed with a smile and exuberant hello. Today I placed a large order for my co-workers. 21 sandwiches. The order was ready at the time that I said I was going to pick it up and the owner, George, even carried it out to my car for me! You would think that making that many sandwiches in a short period would result in some errors or that something would be missing from the order. Nope...not with this crew! It was perfect! Terrible. Our office ordered from here today, the worst salad I've ever had! I ordered an Awesome Salad...which it isn't. The salmon (add-on) was CANNED and smelled bad. It and the mozzarella both tasted bad, so I threw them out. The tomatoes and onions were practically minced (and who puts 1/3 c DICED onions in a salad?). I went to heidis today after an extremely long morning and afternoon. I was greeted my Shawn.(Sean? I don't know the spelling) I always thought the term sandwich artist was a bit of a idiomatic. This man is a SANDWHICH artist. I thank him for the amazing Cajun chicken with avocado add bacon add Munster. He is the Picasso of subs. The green chilie soup was fantastic as well. My new favorite deli. The breads are just heavenly. I had the Hell's Kitchen and my mouth is watering just thinking about it again. The thick cut marble rye with the perfectly prepared egg-salad, bacon, avocado , Cajun seasonings. Wow, it was truly a great sandwich. I can't wait to try some others. I love this place. The sourdough chicken salad sandwich is the bomb. I love the soft bread, it is like a cloudy dream.

Having read that menus differ between Heidi's locations, we called ahead to make sure they had gluten-free bread and that they were aware of cross-contamination prevention. My wife is celiac and very sensitive. It sounded good and we had been very impressed at the store on S. Akron Street, off Yosemite in Centennial -- about 2-1/2 miles further for us. On their website, Heidi's advertises Bella Gluten Free bread made especially for them. In Centennial, they offered to toast it and it had good texture and tasted great! Not so in Lone Tree. They had fall-apart Udi's bread. They did not offer to toast it and we saw no separate method to do that without cross-contamination. (Later, we learned they could have done that.) The owner/manager? didn't seem to take much interest -- leaving the cash register unmanned while the two employees filled orders and took payments with a line of customers. I could have understood that the floor looked like it hadn't been swabbed in a very long time if the last precipitation hadn't been weeks ago. Naturally, with only two employees to handle everything, the container for dirty dishes was piled high. So, if you're in the neighborhood, go a little further west and north. You'll feel better about spending more than a $20 bill for lunch. read more

Wow. This place is incredible. I had the Cajun Turkey with Avocado, and every ingredient on my sandwich was of the highest quality. It really makes a difference. The portions are great, I would suggest not getting the meal deal, as the full size side is too much food. Heidi's is a great place to get homemade soup. This franchise makes their own soups. There are about eight to choose from daily. Four of the soups change week to week. Truly, I am not a soup person, but I go here about twice a week to buy their soup to go. Also, there chicken salad is delicious. Someone recommended it to me and if I get a sandwich with my soup, I get the 1/2 of chicken salad with a cup of soup. The soups I love are the potato and artichoke, the chicken pot pie, and chicken and wild rice. The soup offerings range from gluten free, vegetarian, broth, creamy, and spicy. read more

I went to Heidi's today for the first time for lunch. I don't often write reviews of restaurants, but the food was out of this world. I got a broccoli and cheese soup and BLT avocado sandwich. They make soups from scratch in-house and it was the best broccoli and cheese soup I have ever had. The sandwich ingredients were all fresh. The bread tasted as if it had been baked that day. I would absolutely come again during my lunch break. Next time, I will have to try a cannoli and one of their fruit smoothies. read more

I was very disappointed, ordered hot pastrami on light rye, with just a little yellow mustard. First there was not very much meat on it, supposed to be 1/2 lb but that was not the case. Way to much mustard and the "home made" bread really had no flavor at all - way to much bread and not enough sandwich. Jason's Deli is the way to go for a GOOD Pastrami sandwich. We used Heidi's today for a teacher and staff appreciation luncheon and were very pleased. From the variety of sandwiches offered, to fast and efficient service to outstanding flavors, all of the attendees couldn't stop raving! My teachers were impressed that the sandwiches were so enormous, most of them only ate half and then planned to bring the other half for lunch tomorrow. Best sandwiches! I work nearby and frequent Heidi's for their delicious sandwiches. While I typically order the same one or two sandwiches, I love their variety when I'm feeling something new. There's some nice outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and friendly staff that occasionally laugh at my awful jokes. I love this place and will continue going back! read more

I've been going to this location for awhile and I'm African American. Their Hell's Kitchen is why I go. I've normally encountered the younger employees each time I go, however, yesterday there was an older white gentlemen who was at the register in a red shirt. Have never seen him and can only presume he was the owner. I walked in to simply pickup a couple loaves of bread and at the end of the counter approx'ly 15ft away was a white lady finishing up her. I had my loaves in my hand about 4ft from the register ready to pay luckily not in a hurry to go anywhere. I was flabbergasted how the white man overlooked me and turned over to the lady's direction as she was walking up to the register. Again, I was there waiting with the loaves in my hand. The man said to her, "....you order this, and that.....etc." REALLY? Was I possibly not a priority, even though I was there at the register in front of the lady ready to pay because I had a less expensive items being purchased or was it because of my color? help me understand? So had I run out the store with the bread then I guess I WOULD have been a priority right? I guess insensitive and clueless individuals who don't think of how they offend people happens EVERY day. They are the ones that perpetuates racism and disrespect. They've simply never encountered it. I guess people like them just don't try to put themselves in our shoes. Now if this man would have patronized a black business and the same occurred to him I wonder how he would have taken that? how would he have reacted? I was still polite, although perturbed, and I did let him know I was ready to pay and in front of the lady that was finishing her order and approaching the cash register. He didn't apologized - he gave an excuse. So racism doesn't mind getting hard earned black dollars but it's generally with conditions. Very disappointing when we are in 2020 and things like this STILL happen. read more

The customer service is outstanding at Heidi's! I stopped in to grab an ice tea but didn't have the cash to meet the $5 credit card minimum. This place is superb! My work is close by and my coworkers and I really enjoy coming here often. Their sandwiches are very unique and delicious and their in-house Cajun sauce is unbelievable. The staff is friendly, courteous, and are always down to chat with you. Many of the reviews here seem to be depressed about the "thick bread" but I personally enjoy the thickness. It is pretty high quality bread. My favorite sandwich: the Salmon Melt with tomatoes and lettuce. Definitely give this place a shot! read more

Looked forward to trying this place...Since we do not have any true deli type shops around like in NY or Chicago where I visit often in my travels. I will start off by saying the bread was excellent as its freshly cut for your sandwich. I ordered the Reuben and it was very disappointing...The sandwich was lucky to have had one slice of meat on it. It essentially was a sauerkraut and thousand island sandwich...For $7.39 this sandwich just was not worth the price...Soooo disappointed as I had such high hopes. I was really disappointed to order a chili soup bowl and have them hollow out the end of a loaf of bread and then microwave my chili to warm it up. I guess I expected more than this. A can of Hormell and a couple old hot dog buns would have been an equivalent an cheaper option. read more

I used to frequent the Heidi's that was in the DTC as I work out of the DTC. I hadn't been to them in years ever since that location closed. Other than one trip out to the one in Parker a couple years ago. Anyhow, I happened to find that there was one near my Doctor's office! I think it will now have to be a lunch stop whenever I'm going to a doctor's appt! What I order that I absolutely love here is their Hell's Kitchen sandwich. I can't speak for the meat to bread ratio since I've never ordered anything else, that other people are upset about. They are very generous with the egg salad proportion on this sandwich and the bacon/other toppings just make it super tasty! Honestly, it probably is something I could make at home, but I'm lazy =).
