This place was Awesome! There portions were large! Low Country boil was great. Ribs as well! Along with the Godfather french dip! Great service! We got the sampler option and everything was amazing. My family and I try to make it here at least once a week. The food is great and the wait staff are always friendly, even when this place is slammed full of customers. We stopped here on our way to Myrtle beach. The food portions were very good and the food was very tasty. Loved the fried mac cheese appetizers. The wraps were very large, enough to split between two people. Prices were good for the portion size and the atmosphere was nice. If I had any complaint it would only be the service was a little slow but not for lack of trying. It looked like it was being run by two ladies and they were slammed pack but we're good about keeping everything organized and letting you know how much longer. Yes this is a bar but the food is really good. Not just bar food. Also a great place for a drink with friends. Everyone is welcome. Dogs can sit in the outdoor covered area. Family friendly. Don't be scared of people in leather. Many are doctors, lawyers, and people who have stories you would never expect. Don't judge this place before you try it. Its really great. OMG!! Worth the trip off the interstate!!! I have never had a restaurant cook my steak absolutely perfect and Heidi absolutely did!! We came in 30 minutes before close and all ordered different things. Wings, steak and shrimp, open faced roast beef. Everyone at the table was absolutely impressed. Everyone's food was great!!! We were told Heidi cooks everything and there are only about 6 people that work there. You couldn't tell! Service was great, food was amazing, we will absolutely return the next time we are in town!!! This is definitely a hidden jewel!!! Went for the first time Friday night. Will NEVER go back. When we entered, there was no sign saying wait to be seated...we sat down. The waitress gave us menus then realized our name was not "on the board" and told us we would have to wait for a table (there were about 5 open tables at the time). We waited about 15-20 minutes. (** during this time NO ONE was called for a table...so why did we have to wait??) We got seated and ordered appetizers (nothing fancy - frozen deep fried treats). We also ordered our meals. Then we waited...and waited. The people sitting next to us (seated around the same time) got their appetizers. We still waited. They got their meals. We finally got our appetizers. I went to the restroom and noticed one of our meals sitting on the bar...with people moving around it (not very sanitary). The waitress FINALLY brings that one plate of food (there were 5 people in our party). A few minutes pass and a 2nd plate comes out. This was a plate of scallops (again something frozen that was thrown in the oven or fryer...friend tried one...nasty, gritty and sandy). We were still waiting for 3 plated of food (all hamburgers). My husband asked the bartender if he could speak to Heidi (she was in the kitchen cooking) because of the poor service and long wait. (at this point we had been there about 2 hours) The bartender became a total B**CH. She wanted to argue about our complaints. Heidi never came to speak to us. We paid for the appetizers and drinks (the Smirnoff I had was flat). As we were leaving we asked if Heidi was going to speak with us. We were told that Heidi said we could come in the kitchen and speak to her. I think the Health Department would have a problem with random people entering a restaurant kitchen. I have worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry...first, I would NEVER have made someone get up from a table to wait. (remember, there were about 5 tables open at the time) Second, you don't argue with a customer about service they feel was not up to par. Third, if you are the manager/owner and a customer wants to talk to you...GO TALK TO THE CUSTOMER. Can HONESTLY say I WILL NEVER go there again. The minute I got out of the car in the fairly busy parking lot I knew I made a good choice. People leaving were happy and patrons on the patio were laughing and having a great time. I was looking for a good place to go close to my hotel. Prior reviews made me decide the 15 minute drive would be worth it as I tend to stay as close to the hotel as possible. It was worth passing over a dozen other eateries. If I could take this place back to Nebraska with me I would. The bartender thanked everybody and said goodbyes and even "I love you" to the regulars and staff as they left. The "stolen" quesadilla was wonderful. Only 4 beers on tap but others in bottle. Many whiskey selections as well as others for your mixed drink preferences. 2 blue moons and the quesadilla was $15ish which I felt was an amazing deal. My previous night dining meal alone was more and didn't fill me up or task near as good. Couldn't even eat the whole quesadilla. So many other options I want to order if I ever make it back to the east coast. The atmosphere is a time capsule but it felt very homie. The outdoor patio was great and the porch was awesome. We went to Heidi's for lunch last Saturday. I've been there several times, I enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was friendly, and the food was good. I've always talked highly about Heidi's! This weekend was my husband's first time there. I'm sorry to say he was disappointed. I ordered a hamburger and he ordered a Reuben sandwich with onion rings. My hamburger was burnt... close to hockey puck burnt, the Reuben was way overdone - the bread was burnt and the meat was over cooked. And about half of the onion rings were burnt! When the waitress came over to ask how our meal was we showed her the burnt food. She apologized and offered to have the cook remake our meals but we said no because 1) we were hungry, and 2) we had a lot of things to get done that afternoon. The place was packed with their lunch crowd and we really didn't have time to wait for a second time. We understand that the cook maybe had an off day... it happens. Honestly, he should've never even sent our meals out knowing they were not cooked properly. But, where we were the most disappointed was in how the situation was handled. I ate my fries and the lettuce & tomato, but I only took about two bites out of my burnt burger. My husband only ate half of his Reuben and the un-burnt half of the onion rings. I was kind of expecting a sincere apology "Hey folks, we are sorry the cook was off on your meal today so we are only charging you for one of the meals." Or, maybe something like "Beers are on the house today (we each had one) because your meals weren't right. This is not our norm, please come back and see us again!" Instead, nothing was said. I'm sure the waitress could see that we were not happy and it was just ignored. We certainly didn't go there looking for free food. We just felt that we shouldn't have to pay full price for food that was clearly burnt and we couldn't eat! I really like Heidi's and we like to support our local businesses. My husband said he's willing to give it another chance. We will try to go when Heidi is cooking! We are big believers of great customer service and we were definitely not made to feel that we were valued customers. read more

Tonight we had the low country boil 1/2 order for 2. Excellent as always! Also love the buffalo shrimp, wings,quesadillas, pub chips,wedge salad. There is so much I want to try but love my favorites so much it's hard to change. Walter and the other waitress are great. May have to wait a while for food depending on the night because Heidi is the only cook but it's worth the wait. Last weekend we went to Heidi's Two Wheel Cafe for dinner. Once we sat down and received our drinks we noticed that the worker bringing food to the tables and cleaning off tables had his pants down past his butt cheeks exposing his underwear and the top part of his butt. We informed the waitress and she informed Heidi (the owner) regarding the issue and that it is very unsanitary and that should be unacceptable in any food environment. We will not be going there again as we do not trust that the sanitation rules are being followed and quite honestly the owner didn't seem to care that it is down right disgusting. Found this place on Yelp while heading south on I95 and spending the night in Smithfield. The reviews are spot on and this place is terrific. The food is great southern cooking, huge portions and the atmosphere is very friendly. The waitress calls you 'babe' and all the locals arrive and leave with a hug. Most of the patrons appear to be locals and regulars. The food is all fresh and homemade. Onion rings, potato chips, salad dressings all made from scratch and it shows. This is not a luxury restaurant, but serves excellent, fresh food. The ribs are some of the best I've had. The salad is all fresh. The burgers are 1/2 pound of never frozen beef with any topping you want. If you are passing by Smithfield on 95 at lunch or dinner time it is well worth stopping for some great food. read more

So here is the dealio - we were introduced to this location as a stop on a motorcycle fundraiser! So I always want to support small businesses that support bikers and charity!! That said - the day of the fundraiser we ordered a basket of fries and the server working said "we have great burgers too!" OK now my house to this place is 48 miles each way - so great burger and almost 100 miles in the saddle round trip - cant miss right? MEH - we rode almost 70 miles to get there - the burgers were way overcooked - well done to the point of dry!!! Fries were so so at best - Finally, regulars were tying up the help and guess we were just there - sodas went empty without refills while locals tied up the staff with who knows what conversation!! By the time we left the sun was setting and the chaps came out - was it a 100 mile burger NO!! Would we go back - nope! Why I still tipped 25% is beyond me but everyone has to make a living!
