What impressed me most wasn't just the haircut, but Aaron's patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Aaron handled it with great respect and attentiveness. Interestingly, after the haircut was finished, my son changed his mind about a few details--and Aaron once again responded with patience and grace, making small refinements so my son could feel fully satisfied with the final result. The best review came afterward: his peers noticed and complimented his hair! What also makes Sunesy stand out is the level of customer service. I've been to many Asian-owned salons and businesses where the technical skill may be excellent, but the customer experience can sometimes feel secondary. Sunesy is a different caliber. Aaron combines skill with listening, patience, and hospitality--and that combination is rare. I also realized that finding a great hairstylist is a partnership. Many of us can't perfectly articulate the haircut we want, and sometimes we don't even understand our own hair type, texture, or what will realistically work for us. Unfortunately, once the haircut started, there was no communication about how much hair would be removed. The very first cut on the sides was much shorter than I expected, and at that point there was no way to undo it. If the stylist had explained their approach or confirmed the length with me first, I would have had the opportunity to say that it wasn't what I wanted. What disappointed me most wasn't just the final result--it was the lack of communication. When a customer brings reference photos and asks questions beforehand, I expect the stylist to explain the plan and make sure we're aligned before making irreversible changes. I left feeling that my concerns and the reference photos were not really taken into account. I hope the salon can improve communication with customers in the future so others don't have the same experience.
