She schedules her appointments sufficiently apart so that she can provide focused attention, and she thoughtfully determined what was needed specifically for my toes. Since I hadn't gone for a pedicure in some time, I had one toe with an ingrown toe nail that wasn't ready to be painted yet. Rosalie is AWESOME!! I hadn't gotten a professional manicure or pedicure since before lockdown, so there was a lot of work to do. Rosalie stayed late for me and did an extremely good job on both my hands and feet. The color is amazing, the attention to detail is fantastic, and Rosalie was able to clean up my feet without causing any discomfort. This is probably the highest attention-to-detail pedicure I've ever gotten. I also felt extremely COVID-safe: there is plexiglass at both the manicure and pedicure stations, and Rosalie uses a special disposable liner for the pedicure station. On top of all of this, Rosalie is fun to talk to. One thing to note is that the mani-pedis are on the more expensive side, but nothing outrageous and well worth it. read more

I initially went on yelp looking for a haircut, came across this hair and nail shop. I missed the hairstylist by a few minutes. Rosalie tried to see if the lady would come back and do my hair, but she had gone too far down towards Hayward. Anyways, ended up getting gel pedi and full set. She wasn't sure to do almond shape. My manicurist, Paullyn, does a very thorough mani/pedi, including cutting, filing, cuticles, a sugar foot scrub, & massage of arms & legs with a wonderfully scented oil that is not too strong. I have also used Rosalie for waxings & she is very thorough & gentle. Both of them are a pleasure to talk to as are the other hair dressers there. The prices are reasonable. I always love how KOIT is always going as we all need a little music & talk to liven things up. Just an FYI-- This is actually also Rosaile Hoang's business, same as Nails by Rosalie. Rosalie (the owner) is absolutely the best!! I have been to lots of salons all over the county and surrounding cities and have never been back to the same place twice for a pedicure (I don't really get manis). Pedis can be so awkward because a lot of the time the salon workers are just yelling to each other across the room in a different language and there's nothing to make conversation about. However, Rosalie is the sweetest, nicest person and she remembered me, even when I called to make a 2nd appointment 4 weeks later. She also takes her time-- she doesn't treat the job like a job, she really seems to enjoy it and she did a great job with the flower embellishments I asked for-- never seen anyone put so much detail into it! I love that she uses honey and green tea on skin, it's great! All her products are high quality. It's no wonder to me that she has only 5-star reviews. This is going to be my go-to place from now on! I would like to not leave any stars. Great customer service, poor quality in nails. I had to told Rosaline I would like a coffin nail and it seemed like she had no idea how to do a coffin nail. I had gotten my nails done on a Friday, and by Monday 2 of my nails had already broken off and the gel nail polish has already began to chip with one gel chipping completely off. I can't even go back to tell her because she left on vacation the next day. I had gotten a pedi also and I told her I would like my toes trimmed a little bit & they are still long & it looks like the nail polish was done by my self NOT A "PROFESSIONAL".
