I highly recommend Jasmine at this salon for any waxing or skin care needs. She is so smart and intuitive to how your skin works and the geometric behind on waxing eyebrows. I have never been so happy or impressed by anyone. My wife also sees her for a brow tint and wax and she is blond and you can barely see her brows and they have no arch and we went to Jasmine for this and the tint she did on her brow has lasted months whereas another salon we went to only lasted two weeks and she worked with the baby hairs above her brows to give her an arch and it looks so amazing. I've gone here for brow waxing primarily in the past. Their location is convenient enough being located in the Dimond mall. Their price is very affordable, however they aren't very consistent. Due to the influx of new estheticians you never know who you'll get or how your brows will turn out. It's a bit of a gamble but if you aren't picky, and want to get in and out quick they are a good place for you. read more

I wouldn't give this place a star at all, but I had no choice. I had my eyebrows waxed there and had my skin ripped off. The unprofessional person wanted to argue with me that she "did not rip my skin off!" I told her, my skin is burning and you keep rubbing it, so stop! I think any of us who have had a bad experience with waxing would know when your skin has been ripped off. She was unapologetic. She seemed to be in a hurry and did not spend the time she should have. This review is for one particular person, not all the girls there are in a hurry mode and unprofessional. After reading other reviews of this place, I hope the owner is aware of the 1 star reviews and will talk with the employees. And show some professionalism. My daughter left crying. Lady just kept cutting and cutting. Her hair is very curly but worn straight 98% of the time. This was told to hair dresser before hand. after straightening her hair is so uneven. Her layers look like steps and is not blended at all. Cut over 8 inches off. Wanted 5 off. Words can not express how disappointed I am in this place. The lady that cashed us out was even ruder and tried to tell me I heard you tell the hair dresser many things. I would never go there again. Both I and my daughter got brow waxes and I got a Brazilian and not only were they very unprofessional during the whole process from front desk to the room but my daughter had scabs the next day! I don't know if that means they took skin off or they just burnt her skin but I was horrified. When I went through for my Brazilian she was not thorough and I felt very uncomfortable and she neglected most of my hair and I was very tender following the wax along with having bumps everywhere. Horrible! Don't come here. Me and my friend went in to get haircuts and we went in the same time. The lady sat me down, asked me what I wanted and then literally told me to stand up while she took a pair of clippers and clipped my hair! She didn't even wash my hair before hand! She said I was done and I was so shocked. I couldn't believe it just happened. Then she walked me to the front and charged me for it, $45.00. I was so disgusted I didn't put any tip amount and she even pointed it out. Meanwhile, my friend was still getting her hair washed and she came out with bangs that she never asked for! I just went to get my girlfriend a hair cut at this salon and she left crying. She was asking for a hair cut into layers with bangs and all she did was straight in her hair and made bowl cut bangs. She refused to do anything else and my girlfriend had picked out pictures to even help with the cut. We are now at salon fx upstairs fixing it. If you want any kind of hair cut don't ever go to this place unless you want to leave crying. Smh read more

When she was trimming then I told her I wanted thick eyebrows. later on she comments on how I need to get my lip done too. once she was completely done and she showed me they were thin she asked "are these thin enough" I hate the work and I wish I never paid! read more

Allison is the only nice employee. My daughter was helped by a new employee who was not fully trained and did not know much about the products. I am hard of hearing so i also misheard her about the price of the item. She almost didnt issue me a reciept & she failed to tell me about the no refund policy (exchanges only) My daughter has very coarse, frizzy, hair so I do not want an exchange of anything in there. I need a product that works. I went back to Helena's Day Spa & Supply 3 times already to resolve the situation & they keep blowing me off. They do not car about the hapiness of their customers, all they are worried about is a profit. Very unprofessional. read more

Wow! I had to take a day to stop being too annoyed in order to evaluate whether I was being fair. I went there yesterday for a wax and left very unhappy. Maybe it started out as a miscommunication, but I don't know, you be the judge. The last time I was there I booked a Brazilian wax, but when we discussed what she was going to do and I explained she told me it wasn't a brazilian. It was a more thorough bikini wax. I said ok. Got my service performed, was charged for a bikini wax and I tipped 30%. I was pleased. This time i booked a 'bikini' wax and I got a different girl. Because of this new person, when we met, I explained what I wanted and told her I thought it was called a brazil Ian but was told it wasn't and then told her specifically what hair I wanted removed. She nodded and smiled and had me undress and started. First off, everything seemed fine but I noticed she was using the pale yellow wax which I'd only ever seen used for facial waxing. But I'm not the pro so I didn't say anything. But she kept going over the same area and I started getting sore so I asked her about the wax and said I was used to being waxed with the dark green stuff...she assured me that the wax she was using was good...ok. Then she started picking/plucking at me with tweezers!? It was like being pecked by a bird on sunburnt skin! This is like 40 minutes into the wax incidentally. Then, just as I was prepared for her to ask me to turn over or onto my side to do the rest of my wax she told me she was done!? What? Ummm, nooooooo. I pointed out that there was a great deal she had neglected to do and she, without meeting my eye told me she DID NOT DO BRAZILLIAN WAX'S! Um, then why didn't you tell me when we started WHEN I EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT SERVICE I WAS LOOKING FOR that you did not do this? I was flabbergasted. I was really upset and uncomfortable. As though I had asked her to do something 'unsavory'. So she left and I got dresses and went to the cashier to pay. She passed me in the main salon after she talked to the receptionist and again did not meet my eye. Then, to top it off, THEY CHARGED ME THE BRAZILLIAN WAX PRICE. I will never go again. I immediately booked with Allure spa from the parking lot and they took me an hour later. I told her what had happened she was sympathetic and professional and friendly and 20minutes later I was done! And she charged me the bikini price because she was only fixing what the other salon had done. Needless to say, I tipped her 50% (but don't tell my husband). read more

I got my hair cut here for the last year and each time i've gone something wasn't 100% how i wanted it but the haircut was alright and i always left with an awesome hair style and great tips, a few weekends ago on October 4th (my birthday) i got my hair cut here as a treat to myself. I cant remember the name of the lady that cut my hair but she was a heavier set Hawaiian looking women with curly hair. Needless to say everything that could have went wrong went wrong and i will probibly never go back because of it, this was the first time i ever cried over a haircut. Literally the only reason i didn't ask to speak to the manager was because a good friend of mine works there. anyways when i got my hair cut i asked for in inch off , some layers and i like the ends textured not cut straight. The more she cut off the shorter my hair got, by the time my haircut was finished my hair was now at an inch past my shoulders and before it was well over half way down my back. I ASKED FOR 1 INCH and thats not the worst part... as she was blow drying my hair she held the blow dryer onto the hair on the right side of my hairline so long that the hair framing my face actually burnt OFF before my eyes whilst simultaneously burning my head not once but twice throughout my appointment...I've tried to let it go and move on but today I tried to put my hair up in a pony tail from straight hair because i noticed the layers were not even at all and were super choppy and i opted to put my hair up (which I never do) once my hair was up i noticed several strands of hair 3-4 inches longer then all of the rest of my hair in the ponytail... it looked like a 3 year old chopped parts of my hair off and just left the rest. As I fought to hold back tears I spend the next 30 mins trying to find a style that would hide this chop job. Hands down worst experience I have ever ever had. I highly doubt i will ever be back there again. Since then I have told at least 15 girls at my party about my experience here considering my haircut practically ruined my birthday. read more
