Every time I call to see if there any availability, the lady that answers has a crazy attitude and horrible customer service. She'll yell at you when she's the one not understanding what you're saying. They also overcharge for acrylics and all the add-ons. You can show them a picture of what you'd like and they'll say "yes we can do it" then your nails won't look anything like the picture. If you can't do what's in the picture that's fine but don't pretend like you can do it just to charge a crazy amount when you can't. They also need to fix their customer service skills.. read more

Girl I know this review is long. But I get my nails done with a regular gel manicure every two weeks. I decided to try this new spot as a walk in. Went in for gel manicure with some nail art. Chill vibe, not busy, and I was seated quickly. They seemed to understand what I wanted right away. BUT Right off the bat the lady doing my nails hurt me with the dremmel tool. I don't know what possessed me to let her try again only for her to hurt me two more times. One time the dremmel went UNDER my nail, the other two times the dremmel was being pressed into my finger, making it hurt and burn. This PMO so much I was nearly driven to tears. By the third time I told her to just clean it up and end it, I was done. She said she didn't understand and had to get the owner to come by and tell her to clean me up. Then the nail "tech" tried to say I was finished even though all the color was not off. I had to point out the BIG spots on three different nails where there was still bright orange color streaks! Next my nails are screwed up, they are not shaped correctly, they were supposed to be round but they are uneven, crooked, different shapes, some tips are cut, all screwed up. She screwed up my cuticles too, they are all flaky and clearly cut way too deep. I screwed up going here, don't make the same mistake I did! I doubt the nail tech I had is certified! At the end she said it was my fault, that my nails were too sensitive to the dremmel. I told her the dremmel wasn't responsible for going UNDER my nails or into my skin. I was not about to go through this awful terrible experience and be blamed for it! The owner seemed nice and she had a client that was happy, I wish I could have gotten the owner. But this other nail tech needs to be let go or go back to school or something. I can still feel where she cut me too deep with the cuticle trimmer, it feels like broken glass in my skin and on my fingertips. My nails look so chopped and unhealthy now. I feel so awful and angry. I went to get a full set and pedi, they said they will do the pedi first which is fine. The lady was on her phone and the pedi water was cold. I told her and she didn't bother to turn it up, thankfully I got the cheapest pedi package because normally I do hot stone and all that. She barely scrubbed my feet, slapped on nail polish and lotion and that was it. My friend got there a few minutes after me and was still getting worked on when I was there. The experience was decent. My boyfriend surprised me with a pedi, and I got the deluxe package. Very relaxing, and a good paint job on the gels. Quite painful as she dug around my cuticles, and I just figured it was due to an ingrown toe, but as the days have passed, my toe has gotten swollen and inflamed. I have come to Ly for several years now. She is very accommodating and has helped me look pretty. I especially love the "American" nail she does which is a shelac manicure with a very thin strip of soft white at the tip and clear base. Even on my short nails (housework!), I look polished and pretty. It is perfect looking for weeks. And her pedicures are heaven ... I've even fallen asleep while she takes care of my feet. As soon as I got there the front desk woman was very rude when I asked if I could get a pedicure, then the tech doing my nails talked and played on her phone the entire time. She was also extremely aggressive and made every single one of my toes bleed. She used her ACTUAL finger nail to clean under my toe nails. The only time she spoke to me was when she asked what color I wanted. I told her a deep/dark pink color. My toes look like there isn't even any polish on it. It is definitely not a deep pink. Then when she was done with my toes she didn't say anything, just immediately got up and walked up to another nail tech and asked her to do her nails. Poor service. The female nail tech was on the phone while doing my friends nails. Literally with a nail file in her hands and the phone in between her ear and shoulder?? Her nails ended up uneven, bumpy & round (she asked for slim coffin). Also, there was a dirty, half-drunk smoothie sitting on the nail table. Not my friends, not the nail techs? The male nail tech I had barely spoke, hurt my cuticles with the electronic nail file - he wasn't paying attention. He nicked my skin, and a couple of the cuticle areas were bleeding, but mostly just red, he said sorry but continued to make the same mistakes. I asked for a coffin-shaped, matte, French. He glued the basic, white tips onto the end of my nails and sloppily laid transparent acrylic on top, then filed them down. It was a little thick, slightly bumpy & there were bubbles in some of the acrylics. And a random, glitter speck on my thumb. He finished with a clear, gel top coat. That's it. I think it was $45 (NO RECEIPT?) for my sister & I, not really worth the end result. And, as I said, no recipient, they just continued with their conversations after I had paid. Even before that, as I was waiting to pay, the female nail tech was still on the phone, at the register, making eye contact. I waited 5 minutes before I had to go and find someone myself. I spent a total of 3 hours getting my nails done when in the past I was in and out in an hour. The girl that did my nails was constantly filing my cuticles to the point that they were bleeding. May I add that almost all my nails were bleeding by the end. Along with the bleeding, later that day my nails became very sore so I ended up cutting the tips off and noticed that the acrylic was so unevenly laid onto my nail. the two other times I've went there, I had the male tech and he was amazing but this experience made it so I will not return. I have been looking for another nail salon for a little while now because my current one has been going down in quality. This place nailed it on the head! My technician did a great job and she consistently asked what I liked and what I wanted. I showed her one picture from Pinterest, and she did exactly what was shown. She was sweet and very nice. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars: 1) I had to wait 10 min for the technician to show up even though there were technicians available 2) The technician filed a little too close to the skin and gave me 2 small cuts from the file 3) The atmosphere wasn't the best. It was dark, disorganized, and kids were watching videos on full volume next to me and was hard to relax. My suspicion was that they were kids of the technicians or owner, not kids from other customers. Overall, the main job was done well. But it's the small things that they can improve on. I had the worst pedicure here a few days ago. Luke warm water and start to finish the premium pedicure took 15 minutes. There was no massage. Literally the sugar scrub was put on then rinsed off followed by oil and immediately tensed off. I will not be going back obviously. read more

Got a shellac mani and it was a subpar experience.. my nails and cuticles definitely needed more care, literally a minute hand massage, and the shellac application was horrible.. the polish is all over the skin despite "cleaning up" .. never ever again. Went in a few weeks ago for the first time to get a fill. I loved how it turned out despite the lady filing the heck out my skin. Decided to go back this weekend and also get a pedi. Called to ask how they sanitize the pedicure area after use. Marisa said yes we sanitize but then had the nerve to tell me that if I'm so concerned I shouldn't get it. Excuse me? That leads me to believe they might not. I would never step foot back in that place. I am giving two stars because my colleague received the best pedicure of her life. If not for that, I would give one star. Although I had a very pleasant experience and my technician was very nice, I would not get a manicure here again. My gel manicure was $46 after tip, and didn't last a week. My cuticles are destroyed, hang nails all over. The polish wasn't put on evenly: it was lumpy, uneven, and didn't get all the way to my cuticles on most nails. After four days, pieces on the edges began chipping off and coming up at the cuticle edge. At 8 days post manicure, I was able to peel off the polish in one piece, from one nail. All other nails are so jagged and the polish edge so loose that I can put my fingernails between the polish and my nail surface, and I cannot put my fingers in my hair without hair catching underneath the polish. Will be getting a new manicure today - nine days later. Horrible. Pictures are from day 8. read more

I called at 8 pm on a Friday to see if I could come in for a mani/pedi. The woman on the phone told me yes, so I got there as quickly as I could. Arrived at 8:25 to the "open" sign still flashing in the window but the lights all turned off. I waked up to the door to see if anyone was there and there were two women packing up inside. One of them just kept shaking her head and motioning at me for me to leave. Didn't even bother opening the door. I understand if it was time for them to close but then why would you tell me to come when I called? Terrible customer service, definitely never coming back to this place read more

Worst service EVER. I went in for some relaxation and pampering. The owner dumped me into a chair and ran some cold water and walked away. The water was too cold so there I sat with my feet out. It was more than ten minutes before anyone came to start my pedicure. She saw I didn't have my feet in the water and asked what was wrong. She then got the water warm, but immediately began my pedi so my feet had no time to soak. She rushed through it. Fastest pedi I've ever had. The woman next to me had been there for 15 minutes longer and I was done before she was. I had paid for extras such as sugar scrub, and she basically rubbed it on and took it off immediately. Not only was it the worst massage I've ever gotten but also the shortest, even so, she stopped twice during it to answer her phone. She only did one coat of color. I told her I wanted two. She spoke in broken English, nodding her head, but did not add another coat of color. When I was done, rather than put my sandals on me, she picked them up and carried them to the mani chair and had me walk across the floor barefoot. Manicure was just a repeat of the pedi. Sloppy service, stopping to answer the phone three times. One nice little extra was when she had me walk across the floor barefoot a second time to wash my hands. She did a crap job on the cuticles, putting some sort of cream on them and immediatly imersing them into water. Made no sense to me. The polish was too thick so it didn't even out when applied. She puts polish on like a 12 year old with thick, heavy strokes. I asked for an American manicure. Anywhere I've ever been that is similar to a French manicure, but with an off white tip so it looks more natural. She put some hideous pink polish over the top of the white tips. I said it was too pink, she argued, "No, pink pretty." Oh well......honestly, at this point I didn't care.......I just wanted my nails done, and they were getting done. I wasn't crazy about it, but, oh well....just another nail salon I won't go to again, right? So, nails are done, off she goes.......just leaves me there. I look around. There's no nail dryer in the place. It's pouring rain and about 80% humidity so there is no way the nails are going to dry without help. I wait 15, then 30, then 45 minuters and finally, I'm done. In that entire time, NO ONE came to check on me. I had to put my shoes on myself and in the process messed up three of my just done nails. Now, I'm getting mad. What put me over the edge? When I entered the front part of the salon and saw my manicurist curled up on the couch on her phone. That was it. I told them I wasn't paying for the manicure, that I'd had poor service and because of it the manicure is ruined and I wasn't going to pay for it. Then the boss comes alive.......she threatens to call the cops on me, ran outside and took pictures of my car, then another fat mouthed customer sticks her nose in it and says I'm a scam artist. The owner (the one who put me in a cold vat of water) said she would fix the nails. I told her I had to meet someone for dinner and I didn't have time. She said I could come back anytime. So I said I would pay for both of them but I wanted something saying I had another manicure coming. She refused. Refused up and down. I refused to give the money until I got something. Everyone is yelling at everyone (including nosey, fat mouthed customer) until another man interjected to calm things down. The owner finally gave me a card with $20 manicure on it, but after I thought about it, the last thing I wanted to do was go back there. Especially after I read the reviews here and see that someone got fungus there. Hoping I don't have that also!! The next day my cuticles are dry and jagged. TERRIBLE!!! Horrible service, horrible manicure. I can't stress it enough. Total rip off. read more

I came here with my best friend last Saturday for a pedicure. After my feet were soaking for a while in the water they were stained blue from the water. The lady doing my pedicure was really rough when she was getting rid of cuticles. When she was putting polish on my toes she would get some on my skin, which is no big deal, but she would scrape it off really hard with a wooden stick. I am surprised I did not start bleeding! After the pedicure was done, she sprayed my toes with the quick dry spray. My best friend and I were not given flip flops to go under the fans to have our nails dry, so we just sat on the chairs where we got our pedicures. My polish has bubbles, I will definitely not be coming back to this place for another pedicure. read more

First I went here because they did a great job and understood what I wanted and knew what they were doing. I went in today and asked for a design. The lady drew 3 lines. I said no id like a flower. Then I said I would find a picture of what I wanted and she said "no, I know how to do a flower". So I let her do her thing. It turned out horrible and all I wanted was someone to fix it. Everyone walked away from me and did not acknowledge that I was even there until it was time for me to pay. Then I complained again and asked them to fix it. They said "no". HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! When I asked a 3rd time for them to fix it they pretended not to understand me and pretended not to speak English then they all walked away again except the lady taking the $. I will never go here again. I was a loyal customer for 2 years and told my friends to go here. Now everyone I know will hear my experience and they will lose even more clients. Poor.Customer.Service.Period. My friend and I wanted to try this place after I noticed it next to the House of Bread. Called and asked if they could fit us in. I was told by the lady that answered the phone that they could at a specific time. I was not asked for our names or any other information for the appointment. So we get there a little early fully expecting to wait for our appointment time only to be told by the same person that answered the phone that they wouldn't be able to help us for another 30 min, but she couldn't be sure since there were still three people waiting. I asked her why she told us they could accommodate us at that specific time if that was not the case. Did not even apologize for inconveniencing my friend and I for the wasted trip there, and then proceeded to ignore us by fiddling with something in her drawer. Good grief, it seems that greed supersedes good customer service when it comes to this establishment. Definitely taking my business elsewhere, and will not be recommending this salon to anyone I know! read more
