One highlight was the gentleman working there, who was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. His hospitality made the experience more enjoyable and left a positive impression. The salmon was probably the biggest disappointment. It seemed a bit overcooked, was served slightly cold, and was missing some of the buttery richness we were expecting. The chicken and beef souvlaki were both good and enjoyable, but they weren't particularly memorable. The fish and chips, unfortunately, fell short. The fries weren't very crispy, and the fish itself lacked flavor. Overall, nothing was terrible, but most of the dishes didn't really stand out. After an afternoon movie with a group of 12 ladies we went next-door to this wonderful Greek restaurant. The food was delicious and he accommodated our group of 12 by putting two more tables together. Service was gracious but the reason I didn't give it five stars was there was no real soap in the ladies room. They even took a little jar of "soft soap" almost empty and mixed it with water so it wasn't real soap. I informed him and he said he would take care of it. Otherwise five stars. However - when I ordered the chicken kabob plate they refused to trade out my rice with hummus. I found this a bit disappointing only because i had never been to a Mediterranean restaurant that did not allow this. The service was great I believe the owner is mostly at the cash register he was very kind all of the times I went. For the wraps I will definitely be back but for the kabob plates I will go elsewhere. The person who took our order was very nice and was able to tell us which options could be made vegetarian for us, we were really hoping to try the Spanakopitas but they were completely out. We wound up getting a Veggie bowl and Koftedes plate. The food came out quick but unfortunately the taste was just so so. The the Kodtedes, to me at least, tasted a little bland and grisly. I need to talk about this place because it was genuinely great. I ordered the Greek salad with hummus and pita, and everything tasted fresh. Not fresh from sitting in a cooler. Fresh like it was made right then for me. The hummus alone was worth coming back for. The guy at the register was one of the warmest people I've dealt with at a restaurant in a long time. No script, no fake customer service voice. He seemed legitimately happy I walked in, and that's not something you can train into someone. It's just who he is. One more thing that stuck with me. I watched him come out of the bathroom drying his hands with a paper towel, so I could see he'd actually washed up. Sounds small, but you'd be surprised how often that's not the case at restaurants, and it's an instant dealbreaker for me when it isn't. This was a pleasant surprise. It was a rainy day and it was girls day to watch a movie and Hella is so close to the theatre we decided to try this place. It's a small place and luckily they had a table in front that could fit us and the person taking our order was nice and helpful. We mostly got the wraps and I love that they can custom based on your request. One of my friends isn't into sauces so she asked for the sauce on the side as well as to have the pico on the side - and they accommodated - no problem! I and several others had the Koftedes wrap and it was SO GOOD. The meat is so tender along with the flavor of the sauce and pico! I pretty much demolished my wrap. And they add a light salad with the wrap so I felt like I ate pretty healthy so I wouldn't feel guilty about the butter popcorn at the the theatre later! LOL... I ordered the chicken gyro plate and an order of hummus to split with my brother. We weren't planning on getting anything else, but then the owner threw in an order of rice pudding on the house in exchange for posting photos of our food on Yelp! He was also super attentive throughout the meal, coming back to check if we needed anything, like more bread for our hummus dip. Speaking of, the dip was creamy and didn't have an overly nutty flavor, which I like in hummus; if the flavor's too strong, it tastes bitter. The pita that came with was nice and warm. The chicken gyro plate was considerable, coming with pita, rice, and some veggies. The chicken was moist but didn't have a whole lot of flavor on its own. Luckily, we had some yogurt and hot sauce at our disposal, so it wasn't that big a deal. Pro tip: use the pita to create some mini-wraps. Moving on, the rice pudding. I would gladly pay for this next time. It had a healthy dose of cinnamon sprinkled on top, enough that I could smell it. The top was bouncy and the interior was creamy.
