The food was really delicious and beautiful presentation with the salads. Great service and we ate out on the back patio. The reason I didn't give it five stars is they do not have any butter at their restaurant. The bread was delicious it came with bread and pita at the table but no butter and they do not have 100% olive oil. I asked for us plain dish of dipping oil instead of the herb version and he brought me out a little dish and it was yellow looking. True olive oil is greenish. So I asked our waiter to show me the jar that he serves from. He brought me out a big plastic jug of canola oil. They do not serve Real olive oil so that really was a turn off. If you want dipping oil for your bread bring your own olive oil. It was pretty shocking! Especially since it's a Mediterranean restaurant and that's where they produce olive oil.

Super delicious Mediterranean food, we got it to go, and I am so gland we did. I got the chicken kebab and my husband tried their eggplant mosuka (it's like a lasagna with egg plant and potatoes, beef and cheese) and it's super delicious. Their hummus is delicious as well. Will definitely have it again as it was delicious and convenient

Sultana Mediterranean is a cute Turkish restaurant in Menlo Park about a block away from Kepler's Books, which is where some author friends and I were attending a Speculative Saturday, and then decided to come here for dinner. We were seated outside in the back patio. We shared pita bread and Spanakopita. For an entree, I got the stuffed pomegranate beef with a side of fries. It was very delicious. The beef was juicy, and I love how pomegranates are added to many dishes in Middle Eastern cuisine. For dessert, we got Knafeh, which I have grown to really enjoy. It's made out of kataifi (shredded phyllo dough), a sweet cheese filling, and is soaked in a sugar syrup (attar), which is often flavored with rose water and orange blossom water. It was warm, with stretchy cheese and crunchy crushed pistachios. Great service for our group! Definitely recommend Sultana.

Ambience and staffs both were great. I still don't understand why this place does not have waiting line like others. Definitely underrated. We tried a Turkish wine that we have become fan of. Food was just amazing. Just try anything you will love it. Perfectly cooked. I am not Turkish but when I went Turkey I became fan of their food and quality and since then I have been looking for an authentic Turkish place like this.

Amazing Mediterranean spot right in Menlo Park! We sat outside at their beautiful patio. We got the combo appetizer and Lahmacun as we wanted a light lunch. The Lahmacun was in particular absolutely delicious and so light. Our server was so nice as well. 100% will come for a full dinner

Authentic Mediterranean cuisine located in downtown Menlo Park. From hummus to seafood kabob, everything is delicious and healthful. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and polite. I loved the Turkish tea, which came in its own pot and complemented the food perfectly. The restaurant's large interior space allows for well-spaced seating. For parking, skip the busy El Camino Real and use the easier back parking lot!

I came with my friend and we tried different things. First started with lentil soup and lahmacun as an appetizer. It was delicious. I tried pomegranate kebab. I really liked it. My friend went with regular Adana kebab. We sat outdoors. Service was good. They have indoor dining available as well. Plenty of parking at the back side of restaurant

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here with a group of 9! The service was attentive and they refilled our water 5+ times. The pomegranate beef plate was delicious. The tangy yogurt sauce was something I've never had before. Definitely try this! Falafel appetizer was also solid but pretty standard.

Friendly, clean, and worth the visit. There's a front room and nice partially enclosed back patio with a fountain. They start you off with a crunchy bread and a hard pita bread. The dipping sauce is an olive oil and herb blend. It has a slightly salty taste that entices your tongue. I tried the pomegranate lamb kabob stuffed with spinach and topped with pomegranates, served with rice and yogurt. The picture is as good as it tastes. The lamb was tender and not gamey. The pomegranate added a nice flavor and texture. Dip the lamb in the yogurt for a smooth texture and savory taste. Follow up with a bite of rice to compliment the flavor of the meat. There are kabobs, wraps, plates, and salads. It's a good family restaurant and the service is attentive and friendly. I highly recommend a visit. I'll see you there. I'm going to try more dishes. This is my rating system to help you gauge my ratings Anything under three stars is not worth mentioning. Meh. *** stars - Good overall. I ordered a few dishes from this place, all of other food is good but the bread taste like cardboard, dried and old. I ordered the food on Monday for lunch.

Very good musakka, full of flavor and a good portion, but served lukewarm and with bland white rice and wilted salad. My son also really enjoyed his lahmajun which i ordered to go. The outdoor covered patio with gurgling fountain is quaint and tucked behind El Camino Real with a little parking lot. Service left a little something to be desired. I walked into the restaurant, used the restroom and peeked into the dining room before I got attention of someone in the kitchen to ask if restaurant was open. The hostess/server was sweet but not very attentive. I think I caught the staff at an off time (2 pm on a Saturday afternoon). Would Come back for a long lunch and wine with a girlfriend because the charming outdoor space and musakka are better than average Peninsula Mediterranean kabob places.

I would say it feels like a tavern for wealthy noblemen in 1800s England. Allow me to say where it fell short for me, and then I'll sing my praises. The wine... tasted like wine. I don't have a particularly refined palate when it comes to that. The charcuterie board was a collection of expensive items that I am personally not into: miniature pickles (too sour), meat pâté (bland), and what I think were pickled red peppers. There was no cheese, which was highly disappointing; however, if that style of charcuterie suits you, go for it. The music did not match the ambiance at all. They really should play piano or smooth jazz, because the 2010s pop was honestly annoying. DESPITE ALL OF THIS, the crowd was the real pull. Everyone was either on a first date or was an interesting adult. This makes for fun people-watching and stimulating conversations. People were very willing to walk up and talk to strangers. I saw many people doing so, I felt welcome to do so, and people approached me to converse. So even though the food wasn't great, and the music was horrible, I will return funnily enough because the decor and the people were worth it.

Eylan is a Cal-Indian cuisine, taking a modern spin on traditional Indian dishes. While Indian food can be quite spicy, this place tones it down and helps keep it flavorful and spice-tolerable for people with a low spice tolerance like myself. We came on Memorial Day Monday at 5 pm, but the restaurant was packed by the time we were leaving about 1.5-2h later. The nature of Eylan's menu is family style, so we ordered a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes to share. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious from appetizer to dessert - you cannot go wrong! Most of the dishes have a bit of a char to them, adding to that flavor profile. While I enjoyed everything, my absolute favorite was the Chilled Green Grape Chaas appetizer. It was a fusion dish, combining elements of the Indian snack pani puri with the Indian yogurt drink chaas. Surprisingly, the dish was both refreshing and packed a punch of flavor. That alone would make me want to come back! The interior is very nice and modern, and the service was impeccable. They were attentive throughout the evening, and it made our first experience here quite memorable. All the dishes were at a reasonable price point, even though they were all high quality dishes. I had visited once before and also remembered ordering take-out from them a few years ago. I wasn't super impressed by them back then, but was open to seeing if I would have an improved opinion of them. Roma ITALIAN CUISINE is a casual dining spot that serves authentic dishes at Menlo Park's main drag, Santa Cruz Avenue. They offer both indoor, comfy quarters and sidewalk seating options equipped with heat lamps. Their warm, neighbourhood vibe with white-tablecloth comfort provides a relaxed atmosphere ideal for unwinding. Mom called Roma shortly after 7:30 PM to see if they had a table for five available for us. No problem, so we headed straight to the restaurant and arrived around 7:45 PM. We were quickly seated and served iced water. Unfortunately, we had to return 1.5 rounds of the water because the glasses were dirty. Mom asked our waitress/server #1 for sliced lemon for our water to which she was told that the kitchen ran out of lemons. Interestingly, our waiter/server#2 brought out the requested slices. This was the waitress' strike #1. Roma's cuisine is more traditional than trendy, serving an array of classic Northern Italian inspired dishes. In addition to the warm, soft complimentary bread, below are what we had for dinner: GNOCCHI ($27) + grilled chicken ($11) - The green pesto looked richly tasty and the potato dumplings looked plump and pillowy. V was a fan of his dish. SQUID INK PESCATORE ($38) - Both Mom and Z ordered this PASTA, but Z requested to substitute the clams with more of the other seafoods. Initially, we were told by the waitress/server #1 that there would be an extra charge for subbing the clams, but our waiter/server #2 ensured that where was no such surcharge. Strike #2 for waitress #1. Initial misinformation aside, Z and Mom were happy with their orders. LASAGNA ($30) - Substantial in size. Chaz finished every bite with enjoyment. POLLO MARSALA ($32) - Very good. I was pleasantly surprised to finally enjoy a dish at Roma. Service kicked off with major disappointment due to our waitress'/server#1's falsifications. Mom was extremely displeased by her which was completely understandable. Thankfully, our waiter/server #2 was much more helpful and friendly. He saved our dinner experience...and my opinion of Roma did, indeed, improve.
