came today for 4 pedicures and got the deluxe spa pedicure for me and my husband and lady had a problem with us asking for a scrub on the bottom of my husband foot bc she did it so quick and didn't take off anything . then starts speaking on they language with all the workers talking bout us . i translated everything through my phone i would not recommend coming here they will sit their and talk shit about you while doing your feet because you asked them to actually do what's we are paying for . i'm not paying 35 for a basic pedicure it comes with extra things that's what i'm paying for so that's what i expect . read more

Been going to this salon for close to 10 years and the lady I seen on a regular basis up and moved without warning. I decided to try the owner Helen. She did my nails so thick the first time but they didn't break second time I went back she did a good job. Last 2 times shes painted my nails with gel and they peeled off. Went back and they charged me an extra $15 She put my nails on with the thinnest acrylic I've ever had in my entire 40 years of getting my nails done. I kept asking if she could thicken them up she kept pretending to. These are horrible nails. The gel started coming off again the second day. I don't recommend Helen at all. I used to come all the time with my mom here. But it had been some years. I came back and my experience was terrible. The lady that did my pedicure was great. Helen however half-asses her job. She didn't my manicure and she completely rushed through it. I should've listen to the other reviews because she's totally NIPS YOUR FINGERS TO THE POINT THAT YOU BLEED. her prices are I consistently. Full set was $35. Pedicure was supposed to be about $25. Yet she charged me about $85. She even asked if I was going to leave HER a tip. I was so upset. I will never come back! My friend is a loyal customer here, and she makes her appt with Michelle. I have to say I really like the dip gel very much. The color I chose I believe is #10. Slightly on the clay tone side with a hint of caramel. I didn't even ask the name of the lady who did my pedicure, but she was very clean and meticulous as well. She was so sweet as well. Terrible customer service. Had an appointment, one person told me to go to the room for my brow wax then Hellen and her sister said we had to leave the room because someone else needed a wax. Been coming to Hellen's for about a year now. Great service and decent prices. I always get the dip powder ($5 more than gel) with Hellen and a pedicure w/ callus remove (spending $45 w/o tip). I'll say out of 10 visits, I've left with disappointment 1-2 times. However, I appreciate Hellen always fixing a broken nail for me, free of charge (just don't forget to tip!). Dip powder usually lasts me 2 1/2-3 1/2 weeks. Love the feel way more than gel, but that could also be because I usually leave it matte. If you love getting gel, dip is WORTH A TRY! I don't know if it's the colors I've chosen, but one thing I dislike is how the dip powder looks a bit glittery when shine is applied. Very accommodating. I don't like to spend time waiting, so if you're like me, CALL FIRST. I live fairly close, so I prefer to call ahead of time, and they are pretty good at being accurate with an estimated time to come in. Oh, and if you get your eyebrows waxed, Hellen does a fantastic clean up! read more

Got my nails done here two weeks ago. I got the dip powder and some girl kinda young and on the heavy side i am not sure on her name but she made them super thick and not even smooth. Gross and lumpy. Maybe one of her first few times doing it but I didn't like how it felt at all! Today I came back because they were growing so fast & Michelle did them & I LOVED THEM! I usually come to this nail shop since I stay right across the street & it's convenient but the service has gone down over the years. There is also no point in making an appt because you'll still have to wait. I made an appointment with Amy & when I got there the guy tells me I never made an appointment with her instead of admitting to him double-booking her! To makes matters worse the random lady who did my feet was assigned to do my hands as well until I asked her can she do a simple design and the guy came over to tell me she can't do the design and they don't have the time and to just chose one color with no design. I am now waiting for the person who I was originally scheduled with to finally do my hands! My appt was at 4:30 and I left out of there at 7:18 pm and it was the day of my birthday!
