Both my husband and I have been here several times--at least 6 times each for laser hair removal and it has not worked AT ALL! I have complained and they keep reassuring me that it will work but I have not noticed a difference. I am beyond disappointed. read more

Was going to buy a groupon deal for this location but called ahead to make sure I could get an appointment beforehand. Lady who answered phone was very helpful and answered all my questions. She suggested I come in and try one time for the groupon price and then decide if I wanted to pay the extra for the 3 package groupon special without having to go through groupon. Made a same day appointment and was really excited to go. The clinic and staff are very nice, but I'm not sure if my microdermabrasion was rushed due to knowledge I was getting a discount or not. It was only about 5 minutes of rough passes across my face (very diff experience then I've had at other places) then I was told the peel would be placed on. This burned as it should, but I wasn't talked through what to really expect. Just was asked what burn I felt on a scale of 1-10 while I held a small fan to my face. Being my first chemical peel it made me nervous but I stuck through it. The only after care directions I was given were verbal... Not too good for a first timer. I unfortunately had to look up things online on aftercare, products to use, when to follow up, and what stages of peel to look for. After waiting a few weeks I've decided this clinic is not for me. Called for a refund on my other two treatments but was told I could not get a refund. Really was upset and the receptionist told me I could get 2 micros with a mask instead... Um no thanks just want my money back waiting to hear back from manager now. We shall see. read more

I came to Hellenic for micro-needling treatments on my face. I felt welcomed and taken care of as soon as I came into the facility. Not only has my skin seen major improvements, but I have grown to trust and love the staff here. Laura has been an excellent resource on the next steps I should take for my skin. Purchased a 3 treatment pass for Microdermabrasion and Jessner's Peel. Was very excited to begin this series. First impression-- the front spa area is bright and very sterile. No music. Diane brought me down for my treatment. I was in and out in less then 30 minutes. In between her questioning me on my skincare, she sprinkled in her selling of additional treatments and products in almost every breath. No personal connection. Felt interrogated. Told me all that was wrong with my skin (of course, to offer treatments to take care of it). Room was bright with overhead lights... felt like I was in a clinic, not a spa. My "microderm" treatment was maybe a total of 5 minutes and very loosy-goosy. Seriously? The "Jessner's" I received was a modified Jessners (only 7% - not the true Jessner's at 14%) and only 1 pass. She said "we because of the Groupon, we use the 7%." "But if I wanted better results, I could pay for that." In the 25 minutes I was there, I can count over a dozen times they tried to upsale services and products. Ugh. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I am so disappointed with this spa. I have received a refund from Groupon. Don't waste your money on this special. I could get better results exfoliating with a clean towel and sprinkling "magic" water (aka their "pretend' cheap Jessner's). Bleck! read more

I've had many IPL treatments in the past, before moving to Denver, and the results were great. So I decided to get another one, rather than the laser brown/freckles removal. The recent IPL treatment I received at this place has completely scarred me. The owner is not even willing to make a refund for the faulty treatment. I say "faulty" because the scars are not from the brown spots treated, but from the imprints of the machine. read more

Well, I'm not sure if I was just misled by my friends or if I had a better than average tech, but Kelly's treatment was thorough, gentle, and very effective. Update on the cleanser. I LOVE it! I'm using it 2 times/day, as recommended - I really, literally, enjoy using it! It foams up & feels really good when you use it. Sometimes I double up. Just to do it again. (I'm not usually OCD.) After nearly a month, I've only used about 1/3" or less. My skin looks good, even for someone my age. I've been using organic products -- & thought it was all about Colorado climate -- the cleanser makes a difference on my skin. Everybody should get this, even if you don't need laser work! I got a groupon for Hellenic back when it opened, and I couldn't be happier about my hair removal results (in fact, this is the first time I think I've reviewed anything online!). At first, we weren't getting the hair loss expected, but they tweaked my settings a few times and it started working nicely. I'm all done with my treatments (it's been half a year), and the hair is still gone. Good people, excellent customer service. Highly recommended! read more

I had a Co2 laser scar resurfacing treatment done at Hellenic and wound up with trading old scars for new ones. The laser has caused hypopigmentation, burn marks, and made vascular veins surface in my skin. I was able to see a skilled dermatologist who disagreed with the healing process. With lasers, buyer beware, it is better in the long run to pay additional money to see a licensed medical doctor rather than try to save money. I am now 6 months post treatment and still painful skin, large red areas all over my face where I was burned, and hypopigmentation which is very difficult to treat. This review was very difficult to write because I did like the staff aside from the times they have tried to discredit a reputable MD I know in the Denver Metro area. I had a laser before and I did not regret going to my MD, however going to Hellenic was not the best choice for a laser treatment. I just wanted to write this review so others do not have to endure the aftermath of unskilled professionals, it is wise to get many consultations when it comes to your face that everyone sees. read more

Terrible customer service, wish I could give them a lower mark. I went in for Botox & was told I could get in on a Black Friday special for CO2 fractional, before I knew it my card was billed & I left feeling a little uneasy so I decided to do a little research. After reading reviews of customers being burned by their lasers and finding out this procedure should be preformed by a doctor or at least under a doctors supervision I called to tell them I had changed my mind & would like a refund on the Monday before the Friday appointment. They refused to refund my money, kept trying to tell me they have never burned anyone with the CO2 Fractional laser, the hair removal lasers are completely different & I would love the results. When I told them I was coming in to speak to them in person George told me he would have the police waiting if I came into the spa. Is this really how you treat your customers? Shame on you. Something seems really off with this establishment. My credit card will be disputing the charges & I will be researching to see if it is legal to be performing these procedures without a doctor on staff. I was never asked if I smoke or told to not take any aspirin or blood thinners 10 days prior to the surgery, yes George it is considered surgery, I found all of this information on webmd while waiting for George to come out of the back and address my concerns. I don't believe having a medical director is the same thing as having a doctor on the premises while these procedures are being preformed. Sounds like the medical director is on staff for his license only & as a front for them to do these procedures. People, please do your research before you give them any money. If it is up to them I will be out $1000.00 for nothing! They did offer to give me a credit to their spa but who would want to go back to this establishment after they have scarred people & provide terrible customer service? Thank God I didn't let them touch my face & that I can afford to seek justice. read more
