My wife got a chicken gyro and enjoyed it, but said she would get the sauce on the side the next time. The portions were huge, so it justified the prices. The dining room was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention, but was functional. Overall a pretty good experience. When I called to politely point out the mistake and ask if they could adjust it (since I did not receive buns, cheese, veggies, or anything else that comes with the sandwich), they flat-out refused to correct the charge. The staff was unhelpful and basically said that is how it is rung up with no exceptions. The salads were fine (fresh as usual), but paying almost double for just plain patties feels like straight-up overcharging. I have eaten here before and liked the food, but this pricing confusion and lack of willingness to fix a clear error left a bad taste. I will not be rushing back, and I will definitely double-check the receipt next time (if there is a next time). Save yourself the hassle and maybe go somewhere else for simple add-ons.

My mother's oatmeal was stale, and my pasta salad was not fresh, tasting old and unappetizing. Given these disappointing experiences, it's highly unlikely that we'll return to this restaurant for any future meals. If you're a fan of coney dogs, I strongly advise you to seek out other establishments that offer better quality food. Good lunch spot. Very busy and first rate food based on past experiences with Coney Island restaurants. The Greek salad with chicken is really good with burnt onions on it. They are busy and parking can be a bit of a pain so getting there early would be best. The wait staff can be rushed and not very personable. That would really be my biggest complaint. read more
