One slice of turkey per piece of bread. Kind of lame.
    Carolyn E.

Meh. There are such better coneys and diners in the area - this one is expensive and a bit skimpy on portions. The Greek salad with grilled chicken was pretty decent, but could have had more feta. It was fresh, at least. My hubby's club was pretty lame, though - one single slice of turkey per piece of bread. He also ordered cheese fries, and out bill was like $45. I think too pricey for what you get.

What a lovely Saturday morning breakfast a large group of us shared at the Hellenic! Free, ample parking is available in the large lot just outside the entrance. It was quiet enough that conversation flowed as the fresh coffee (in small cups that had been mistakenly ordered) was poured and refilled over and over. I had scrambled eggs and buttered, toasted rye bread. It was served just off the griddle hot. Our kind, knowing server had been working here for a long long time; recalling when the restaurant had been originally up the street. Great experience. Everyone left satisfied.

First time coming to this fine establishment. It is seat yourself. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Saganaki had such great flavor one of the top I have ever head, downfall you don't get that much with it. The blt wrap was amazing, I usually get blt sandwich and cut my mouth with the toast this made a whole different experience for me and now I will never go back . My friend got the club sandwich was delicious. Honestly everything we ordered was so good we will definitely be back. There was only one lady helping the tables but she killed it!

Ok so legit I've only eaten one thing here... but that one thing is crazy good. Hot Greek pasta salad with chicken !!!!!! Holy smokes!!!! The size shown in my pic is large and it runs $14.99. It is a LOT of salad so please don't be fooled.the dressing that comes with it is amazing . I've had this meal three times and the consistency is amazing. Each time I'm super satisfied . Maybe one day I'll check the rest of the menu out but this pasta salad is amaze balls

A little stingy on the chili cheese fries, the Pita bread is kinda expensive $2.11 for one piece. But I always get good Customer Service.

Golden tops hide the burnt bottom...FOOLS GOLD!!

The bartender is bad because it takes forever for drinks to come to the table! tonight it took me over an hour to get a drink when I was sitting at table 1 and my food never even came out. It took over two hours before they took my food order' She came with the bill. Then I learned that she was the manager and she tried to argue with me about not paying for a drink that took Too long to come out! I had a party of four. Which was originally a party of two and then two more joined us, but the two that joined us got their food and drinks before we did! The table to the right of us got their food and drinks before we did! This is ridiculous. They planned a fight night party today and didn't staff enough people to handle the business they received! I was forced to pay for a drink that took over an hour to come to my table and then was told I was giving my food for free even though I had to wait over an hour for service and over 2 to receive it! The manager likes to argue apparently and doesn't care about customer service and customer experience! And i for one used to work at a restaurant and have over 13 years of knowledge! I was a manager a bartender and a waitress before in life! She is dead wrong. And she tried to blame her overwhelmed server! Reality check that there should never be just one server on the floor on a Saturday night

Walking in, there was very limited seating and about an hour wait, which clearly showed how popular this spot is. Thankfully, the hostess told us about their basement bar area where you can grab drinks and snacks while waiting. The downstairs area had such a cool speakeasy vibe dark ambiance, vinyl music playing, and honestly the perfect date night atmosphere. The drinks were REALLY good, and you can also order appetizers down there. Once we made it upstairs, we grabbed bar seating and talked to a few people around us who all said this was their favorite spot. Our bartender was amazing -- super attentive, explained the menu well, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the wings (perfectly seasoned and so good) and the chicken sandwich with buffalo added for a little spice... absolutely delicious. I also tried the pistachio martini, and wow definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Overall, such a great experience from the atmosphere to the food and service. I'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling all my friends about this place!

So I was incredibly excited to try The Oak Parker. I'd heard they make their pastrami in-house, which is a refreshing change of pace since most local spots (Zingerman's included) just use Sy Ginsberg. I ordered the Rachel, but unfortunately, it just didn't work for me. The pastrami was way too dry and honestly tasted much more like corned beef than true pastrami. On top of that, the Gruyère cheese didn't complement the meat well at all, leaving the overall composition of the sandwich feeling just okay. I really wanted to love their take, but this one missed the mark.

You will not go hungry here…read more Fast casual counter. Order at the front counter or self-checkout options. Salad bar style counter. Ordered two build our own bowls with chicken: Spicy hummus, spicy garlic sauce, salad, red cabbage, spinach, onion, yellow pepper, beets, carrots, parsley, pickled radish, pickles, chick peas, 6 piece falafel, two crushed lentil soups, regular fattoush salad. $55 I would ask for the hummus and garlic towards the bottom, so you don't eat it all at the top first? The falafels were being made as we walked in, they are good, super fresh, not overcooked, soft center, quite yummy. Even better with their spicy tahini too. They were the best part of our meal, hands down. The bowls are packed to the gills, super filling. Tomatoes, raw radish, Jalapeño, yellow peppers and cucumbers look a bit dried out or not super appealing. I don't mind the red cabbage, would like the pickled cabbage or turshi more. Bowls are still not too bad. Good about of chicken shawarma meat and toppings. No skimping here. The staffers are quiet, but attentive. The crushed lentil isn't bad, no rice filler at least. Not a lot of flavor, but tastes healthier. The fattoush looks sad with the dried out radish, cucumber and unripened tomatoes. I do like the spicy garlic sauce, spicy hummus options, along with the shatta. The fattoush is ok, the dressing tastes rather perfumed to me, my husband says it's really lemony. It takes some getting used to for sure. Tried their pineapple and pomegranate and tropical fruit infused water, but it has way too much sugar. Would come back for the falafel and the build your own bowl.

It was fun to watch her work. Our waitress, Cecilia was the best we've experienced here. She was friendly, efficient, and kept our drinks coming. She reminded us about the happy hour specials. She even refilled our drinks after we paid and were still sitting at the table chatting away. I wish I had extra cash on me because I when have doubled the tip that was left for her. As for the food... the nachos are always a table favorite. I tried the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce - which I believe is made in house - it's pretty perfect in BBQ flavor.
