Im not sure why the rating is so high here. I am highly disappointed I purchased a family meal. I got the whole chicken and it was dry and I believe it was old. Ordered Mac and cheese and it looked like Kraft and was watery. Ordered the red potatoes they were put in a Togo container with individually wrapped butter I guess that was their way of seasoning because it was melted and running all over the potatoes and we had broccoli and they just blanched that with absolutely no seasoning. This was the worst meal I've had in Charlotte. There was one review that said they didn't like it. I really wish I would of listened. It was a waste of money. I never write reviews but I want to spare anyone else who reads the 5 star ratings. It's 5 star worth at all. The only thing worthy of praise is the green sauce for the chicken. read more

Hello Chicken doesn't sound like a place a vegan would eat but they have a nice vegan menu with plenty to choose from. I liked having options that were not fried or full of oil. Of course the empanadas and the trio of dipping sauces were delicious. I've never seen a fast food place that offered sweet potato, broccoli or red potatoes as a side. There are delicious, healthy food options here if that is important to you. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Pineville so I can stop at Hello Chicken and try the Vegan Medelllin Mix. With so many chicken restaurants competition for the best is tough. Hello Chicken is Very very good! The rotisserie chicken is nicely cooked juicy and seasoned perfectly. They have a delicious Mild sauce and thier spicy sauce isn't too spicy but just has just the right amount of heat. Prices are very reasonable perfect and the service is pretty quick just perfect for a lunch break! I will add that the people working are just great and friendly. read more

Can't get over this new place in the neighborhood. It's tucked away in a shopping center. First, the customer service is ALWAYS on point. Regardless if it is slow or busy, they are always smiling and ready to answer your questions. Secondly: If it is your first time eating there they will provide you with samples of everything. Chicken, rice, soup, juices and even desserts. Lastly, the food is so delicious. I get the chicken Dorian bowl and the amount of food is consistent and the flavor is great. I don't even know where to begin! Okay first off I've been eyeing this restaurant on here for a couple weeks now. I know it's a fairly new restaurant and I wanted to be one of the first to try it. I believe it's been open for a few months now and I finally got the chance to do it. My son and I went in around 5pm. It wasn't crowded but again this is a fairly new restaurant. The lady at the register was absolutely amazing. I'm sorry that I didn't catch her name. She let us sample the three natural juices. Out of the three which were all good I decided to go with passion fruit. I mainly did because she said it was her fave. I ordered the 1/4 chicken plate with sweet plantains and Mac and cheese. She brought the food out to us and it came with three sauces. She explained the sauces and how they went from mild to a bit spicy. The darker green one was my favorite. It was right in the middle of mild and spicy. I didn't get much chicken because my son devoured most of it! What I did get was great and the sauce accentuated it perfectly. The sweet plantains and the Mac and cheese were also good. Typically I save dessert for another time but when I inquired about what they had she gave me samples. The tres leches and coconut flan were my faves out of the three but I opted to actually get the Tres leches. It was my first time eating flan and I have to admit I was more than pleased. By the way parking was not hard to find even though there was a truck taking up the two spaces directly in front of the restaurant *rolls eyes* Overall I had a great experience here and I couldn't wait to get home to write about it because this place deserves business. read more

Recently opened, a Colombian rotisserie chicken restaurant is a must try, hidden little gem as it's sister location Las America's Colombian restaurant (same owner) The chicken is delicious and they offer bowl options with delicious side dishes. The attention to my first visit was awesome, Ariana realized it was my first time and took the time to explain every option available and since my order was to go, and I had to wait a few minutes, she took the time to put together a few tasting bites for all their items including their delicious drinks. By the way Pineapple Mint is my fav. Fresh delicious chicken with a crisp skin, normally skip that calorie item, but so tasty with all the sauce options. Empanadas are great, sides are super tasty and yo can sample them, sample desserts too. Oh, sample juices too.... good call on their part, we got juices and desserts. Our whole family was super impressed with this place! Service was above and beyond and the samples of food are a brilliant idea! We had the vegan wrap, the Dorian chicken wrap, and the Dorian bowl - all of which were fantastic! The meat was tender and flavourful, the rice cooked to perfection, and I loved both the red and black beans! The yucca was tasty and the juices were all on point (we tried the passion fruit and the pineapple mint). My Mom was so impressed, she decided we should try all of them! She doesn't usually have a sweet tooth. The tres leches flan, coconut flan, and blackberry mousse were some of the best desserts we've all had, and we polished them off happily!! Come here! After Boss Baby 2 failed to meet my expectations as a cinematic masterpiece, my son and I were looking to drown our sorrows with food at a place that was both feasibly priced and open late. So we said goodbye to the babies who were decidedly NOT bosses, and said Hello to well, Hello Chicken. Unlike the babies, the chicken did not disappoint. In fact, it was 100% BOSS. They should call it Boss Chicken, or at least Vice President In Charge Of Chicken. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The plantains were the best I've ever had. My 6 year old enjoyed his kids chicken/rice as well. To top it off, the young woman behind the counter was extremely friendly and came to our table to check on us multiple times. I was looking for a restaurant with some great reviews to grab some dinner to take home before heading back to SC while on Pineville Matthews Rd today and Hello Chicken was the first restaurant that previewed on Google. After reading the first review I knew that I had to try the Dorian bowI not only because of all the positive reviews but just looking at the Dorian bowl made my mouth water. OMG!!!I have tried many chicken bowls but this one is the best bowl in the Carolinas. So delicious!!!! Everything in the bowl melts in your mouth. Since it was my first time, I asked her what's the difference between Colombian chicken and the ever popular Peruvian chicken. "Both are rotisserie chicken, but Colombian does taste different." Alright then, lets check it out! I ordered the Dorian Chicken Bowl (minus rice), and had to order the empanadas! My colleague got the 1/4 white with fries and mac and cheese. My bowl was really good. Great option for those looking for a healthy option. My colleague liked the chicken, she said the taste is a little lighter in spice then Viva. I tried the Mac and Cheese, and that was sooo good! Oh, the empanadas had a different pastry but with chicken and veggies. A nice add-on to your order for sure. Sauces: So I asked for each type: pink, yellow, and green. The pink is a mayo base sauce, more like fry sauce. The yellow and green were more my favorite. The yellow isn't spicy at all but has a very nice taste. I love their yellow sauce and chicken soup. The rotisserie was ok..tasted baked and a bit overcooked. I wanted to taste more garlic and seasoning. I wasn't a fan of their yellow rice. It needed a chicken bouillon cube. My black beans were ok..maybe straight out of a can?? I may return for the soup and try the empanadas.. so I can dip it in the yellow sauce.
