Normally their strawberry banana smoothies are so good but I usually get them during the week on my way to work. I went on a Saturday morning this time and the smoothy had NO flavor. I've been going to hello donuts for awhile since they're close to my job- I normally go in the mornings but decided to come at 5pm because I wanted a BLT. I waited in the drive thru line and window for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement even tho the lady was at the coffee machine that was next to the drive thru window and when I went inside I wasn't acknowledged for another couple of minutes until I coughed very very loudly a couple of times. Half a Dozen of Donuts - $6.25 - 4 Stars Sugar, Glaze, Maple Glaze, Blueberry Cake, Blueberry Glazed Cake and Chocolate Cake w/ Chocolate Sprinkles - Freshly made that morning and didn't have any oily taste. Their donuts don't leave an after taste for me. They must change out their oil more often than other Donut shops. 02. 2 Lunch Combo w/ Fountain Drink - $8.50 - 3 Stars Orange Chicken, Beef & Broccoli with Fried Rice - These items just came out of the kitchen when I arrived so I was tempted to order. The Chicken pieces were still crispy and the sauce was piping hot. The Beef & Broccoli was my fave of the 2, the Beef was super tender and the Broccoli were cooked just perfect, not over cooked, it still had a crunchy bite to it. Fried Rice was fresh and tasty, it was dried up like at most places sitting out under the heat lamp. Verdict - All in all was a good food haul for cheap. They make them fresh throughout the day, so even if you come in later in the day, you're not buying donuts from early early morning They also have my favorite local bagels with cream cheese! Nothing fancy but they are super delicious and very reasonably priced! When I ask for extra cream cheese, they are generous with it and don't usually charge me extra(which I greatly appreciate!) Came here around 7:30pm for a coffee and some donuts, they still had a good selection of donuts to choose from! Donut holes were tasty and not greasy at all, blueberry donuts were very fluffy and sweet. The Vietnamese coffee was super strong which was just what I needed, and it comes in a cute can style cup :) The employee was nice and even though I only asked for one blueberry donut, they snuck in an another one at no extra charge without me even knowing!
