After coming here twice the last few months, I have this place a try since my usual nail salon is closed on Sundays. They did a decent job for me the first time in removing my acrylic nails and giving me a white gel nail. The second time I came for a mani pedi and it was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have EVER HAD since getting my nails done at the age of 16, I am now 29. I really didn't want to bash this local business and women owned business but I can not recommend anyone come here. An older woman did my pedi, she used a drill multiple times when it wasn't even needed and cute my toes 4 times and my finger once. I had to tell her to STOP using the drill on me. She was a really nice lady but she does not have any care or quality while doing her job. I could have gotten multiple infections from her lack of care. I do have photos from this experience but will not post here because I don't feel it is appealing to look at. I have since healed with proper care but seriously, the pain, the bleeding and holes in my skin were unsightly and hurt every time I showered. Do NOT come here, there are many quality nail salons nearby. Sorry but these technicians need to be re-evaluated or find a different career. It is apparent when you don't care about customers and just about making a quick buck. read more

Where do i start? C First time customer... Not impressed. Came in around 215 on Thursday and it was slow. No customers when I walked in. This older lady helped me.. Didnt say one work. The water was cold (no liner) Asked her to use alcohol to wipe to tools (she wasnt happy about that). At this point not friendly in fact she looked mad.. Instead of asking me for my foot she would push my foot bavk in the tub then she would throw my dead skin in there too..(wth?) My massage was like 1 1/2 mins for both feet.. Again Wow.. Not impressed only paid $17 plus $2 tip (she did not deserve).. Won't be coming here EVER!! Advice.. Go somewhere else and spend those extra couple of bucks.. This has to be the worst manicure that I have ever received. The technician said two words to me: color and cold. Everything else was gestures. I have naturally long nails and simply needed them shaped and painted. She managed to leave sharp edges on rounded nails and most are crooked. The polish was lumpy and is all over my cuticles, a ten year old has steadier hands. Once I left I realized there was also cotton caught all along the edges of some nails. My manicurist recently relocated to Hello Nails and Spa. When I asked the day before if everyone there would be masked (as per State of California mandate), she said yes. I arrived for my appointment to discover both of the other customers unmasked, no social distancing and poor ventiation. It's very small and a tight space. The two unmasked customers finished and departed so I proceeded with the appointment and asked my manicurist why they allowed unmasked customers. She just said "some peope don't want to wear masks". I told her I wasn't comfortable with that and she basically shrugged it off. She isn't the owner and the owner wasn't enforcing masking for her clients either. The flagrant disregard for health measures is a turn off. I love the work my maincurist provides, but I'm not going to endanger my health to receive them. read more

I would go to other places when I didn't have an appointment and couldn't be seen and was always disappointed and had trouble. They are super fast here I got a mani-pedi and under an hour and I'm always satisfied with the shape and the longevity of my nails. Never once have they popped off or broken! Not a good experience for me. It was my first time going there this morning. I got the full set of acrylics with gel color. After telling her what I wanted she gave me a grumble sound that she acknowledged what I said, however she apparently didn't care one bit. Never asked me if the length or shape was ok...nothing. She was moving so fast. I finally had to stop her and tell her that the shape wasn't right, and it still isn't. I definitely wasn't rude. I tried to strike some conversation, asking her name etc,. She wasn't interested. It just didn't matter what I wanted, she plopped on the nails in about 20 min and was happy to send me on my way. I don't understand why they would treat a customer like they are not happy to have you come in. My nails look awful :( Bottom line, I DO NOT suggest anyone go here for a new set of nails. read more

really bad 1st time experience. Not one lady in the salon smiled or greeted me. They have really old empty nail polishes to pick from. The whole experience was really awkward they don't talk to you when you talk they ignore you especially the lady doing my pedicure. If you are in a rush this place might be for you because it took her 10 minutes to finish my nails. You can imagine they didn't turn out that great. At least it wasn't overly expensive or I would have been more unpleased. I just don't recommend this place. Drive up Alicia a little farther and go to a cleaner nicer salon.
