I used to go here so much and I never had an issue. The service is usually pretty good and the staff is nice. I usually get acrylics and all the other times I would get them done I would never have issues and I would go back to get a fill. I recently got my nails done. It was $70 for a french tip. Not too bad. The only thing all my nails broke so fast!!! The day of one broke and I went back and Nick fixed it for me, Then the next day one broke just opening my car door. I know i'm not being rough with my nails because another one broke when i was grabbing a paper bag, i know there's something wrong with the acrylics because it doesn't even hurt when it break. not $70 worth and would get a refund if i could. read more

It's very spacious and appears to have quite a bit of employees and appeared clean, that's where the positives end. Went in with a picture of nails I wanted- coffin shaped ombré nails. They used powder to achieve the look but layered it on thick. I asked for nude to color ombré but my nude is very pink, definitely not nude. Left a mess on my fingers and because the layer of powder was so thick- my nails look like claws. In for $60 and might not even be able to handle this mess for more than a week. What a waste. Please go elsewhere! Two stars given because my pedicure was just fine ($38) and I've had gel manicures ($35) here (they guarantee they'll last 2 weeks) which were great. Well I find myself coming back here iver and over again...... The distance isnt ideal for me and they do take a little longer. I usually have to allow for one or two hours of my day if I plan to come here. Now Ive tried other places closer to me but I always end up back here... the other places dont have the bags in the tub, or they arent as thorough as this place. Plus the service and consistency make up for the longer drive or time. So now I begin to review todays visit. Awwwww I am as pampered as can be. I chose the milk and honey pedicure. My legs are all smooth and soft now....now wjat makes this a 5 star in my opinion is the attention to detail. Carden (and for the most part all the people here) went the extra mile. My feet are extra soft and relaxed...his hands are amazing...the massage I got on my feet and legs was awesome. Also he removed all the extra stuff I always dont like that thet leave behind in other places. He did a good job applying the polish. I've tried a lot of the nail places around Vacaville already and I heard that Hello Nails is one of the good ones so I recently tried it out for a regular manicure. I went on a weekday in the early afternoon so I was surprised to see so many people there! The inside is very nice and upscale-looking. The pedicure chairs looked very comfortable and its very spacious overall inside. All of the regular nail polishes are in the back of the salon, so I went through them to choose the aqua color for a regular manicure. In looking through the brochure, it looks like they have a wide variety of manicures and pedicures, but they didn't ask which one I preferred so I just got the basic manicure (~$15) which was fine by me. He did a great job shaping and filing my nails and I loved the color, but the nail polish never dried! I spent just about half an hour sitting in the back with the curing lamp and he had to fix one of my nails since it smudged off. Not sure if it was the top coat they used, but by the time I left and got home, two of the fingers were already messed up and little bubbles started appearing. I ended up putting my own glitter and top coat to salvage my manicure. read more

Yesterday, I took my grandma who is in a wheel chair and is also blind, as well as three little girl's 4&under to this shop! I have seen shops before who don't even allow children and others who can't really accommodate room for a wheel chair, because of space. But I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect this set up was and by the staff! It was spacious and welcoming. I never noticed the girl's get a single snarky look towards them. Even when they giggled loudly or played with a small rolling chair in the back; waiting for my grandma to finish her manicure. For a Thursday around 11am, this place was busy, but they looked well staffed and our wait time was only 15min at most. The four of had basic manicures. And they all look well done enough, that I honestly have no complaints! BIG TIP - go have some falafel's at the end of the building afterwards! Lol. read more

I came in on a busy Friday so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I waited for about 20 minutes before I was seated for my pedi. The pedi itself was great but the polish was clumpy. I was told someone would come get me in 5 mins for my full set but no one came. After 40 minutes I got up to leave and pay for my pedi. Nick encouraged me to stay and helped me calm down as I was a little annoyed. Nick is a nail whisperer. I was tired and didn't really feel like choosing anything. I let him decide. I used to come here regularly when they first opened. On this visit, I came because it was nearby and they had availability. However, when I came in, I was told- "you said you only want pedicure! You can only have pedicure!" The tone was gruff, I can handle gruff, but it was bordering rude. The water was warm, the water bubbles were forceful, but the massage chair was broken. The remotes were zip tied to the arm rest and the buttons didn't really work. The only buttons that did are on and off. My pedicurist was quite rough and the next day my pinky toes were sore from the cuts made by a nipper. I would have rather just been told they couldn't fit me in and I would have come on another day. So in conclusion, the massage and pedicure were rough and painful. The chair was broken. Poor nail color selection. And lastly, I felt rushed. The plus side: clean bathroom. I'm super pregnant and I needed to spoil myself and just relax so I got both a full set and a gel pedicure. I also got Anna. She was fantastic! Three and a half stars. I needed to get my acrylics removed, a mani, and pedi done on a Sunday morning. To make matters worse, an Easter Sunday morning. A lot of other salons were closed that morning but fortunately Yelp was able to direct me across the street. Place is large. The only thing that may cause a hold up is the limited amount of nail techs. I waited for about thirty minutes then I was directed to a seat for my pedi. Lady was nice. I got the Pedi with Honey and lotion, which I needed (my feet and legs feel soooo soft). The gel looks so nice and are still in perfect condition. She took her time is trimming cuticles and making sure that the polish was placed on smoothly. However, after the pedi was done the tech was under the impression that I wanted a fill on my nails instead of a removal and mani. That wait took about 45 minutes. The place was relaxing music was calming and they even had a nice flat screen tv. Soon after my forty five minute wait I was accommodated by another woman. I got the gel french done but wasn't too impressed with the work. However, getting the acrylics off was a breeze and didn't hurt at all. She was very friendly always asking if I was okay. The gel on my nails started to chip off the next day and I knew they had a one week guarantee for gel manicures but I was unable to make a visit within that week. So here is my update 7-2016 As of recently, I've been satisfied and not excited about the finished work here. First, let me start by saying that I am a returning customer and I pretty know every technician here and at one point, have had at least 5 or 6 diff technicians work on my toes or hands. My 2 recent experiences were just enough for me to change this to 3 stars. 3 for the (experienced)techs and cleanliness of the place. 1. I had a regular pedicure and gel mani appt for a certain time. I even arrived 10 min early. I was definitely ok with waiting, but I was not seated until 20 min after my appt time-that alone upsets me since I come back here waaaaay too much. 2. My recent experience- I was a walk in, right at 10:15 am on a Sunday (open is at 10) wasn't busy and I asked for the same service. I was seated right away but my pedi was very mediocre. She didn't clean my nails well and spent most of the time scrubbing my feet and massaging the lotion. She even almost forgot to put the top coat. Nice gal but not a great job. At the same time, a technician was working on my gel manicure. Nice of them to ask me if that was ok right? Wrong. I felt kind of rushed. I do like the nail tech (Tiffany- she is fabulous!) and I'm sure it was not her fault, it was prob the owner commanding her to do it. Anyhow, as a returning and loyal customer, I expect different. During my pedicure she kept talking about crap about my feet saying " they look like a dogs chewing bone!" Like WTF! Then when my daughters pedi was done and her tech was cleaning up I give her $10 to give to her tech for the tip. And again Ruby who still hasn't finished my polish yet mumbles " how's this bitch going to give her a tip and not me?" RUBY WASNT EVEN DONE WITH MY PEDI YET AND SHE EXPECTED ME TO TIP HER ALREADY AND AFTER TALKING ALL THAT SHIT ABOUT ME! I WILL NEVER COME BACK HER AGAIN. We chalked it up as maybe it was a her issue and my sister and I continued to go. Well, now my sister has two ingrown toenails after the same gentleman did her pedicure. We called and spoke to two people, one I'm assuming is the manager or owner, and they were VERY unprofessional. We explained we have to have the ingrown nails medically removed because according to the DOCTOR "whoever did the pedicure did not clip or file the nails properly" but in the owner/manager's eyes the doctor isn't a professional and is wrong. Never coming back here again and we spend over $175 every time we've come. At least every two-three weeks. If you've gotten any ingrown nails after your pedicure here, it's most likely because they have no idea how to properly trim/file nails. read more

I guess I like wasting my money or perhaps I can't learn from my own lessons. Either way I tried going to this location again because, hey who knows perhaps they got better! And I do love the interior design. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed. First let's talk about the lovely gentleman that did my pedicure. I personally have no idea what he does outside of his work hours but let's talk about how long a pinky nail needs to be. Throughout my massage his pinky nail, which I would just like to mention was MUCH longer than any other nail on his hand, continued to scratch the back of my leg to the point that I had to ask him to stop. After the pedicure I was not surprised to find that I had red scratch marks on the back of both my legs. I've been getting pedicures for over a decade and I must say that I've never met someone that seems to be so out of their element. He seemed so uncomfortable cleaning the cuticles on my nails that I was surprisingly okay with him leaving much of the dead skin because frankly I was scared to see what kind of damage he might do operating such a small tool. Secondly let's talk about cleanliness. Not only did my lovely friend mentioned above have rather disturbing, yet I'll be at manly dirty nails. After I was done having my pedicure I requested to sit under the drying lights for a few minutes. I watched my lovely new BFF wipe down the remaining water in the basin and then put the chair on top of the seat. I then watched another manicurist put someone that had just walked in the door and sit her at the seat that I had just gotten up from. Being rather alarmed since no cleaning AT ALL had happened at the station, I felt it necessary to get up and tell the customer that they had yet to clean that seat. The lady doing a pedicure next to the chair told me that it was okay because they would put a plastic bag around the basin. While I am all for plastic and the barrier that can provide for whatever germs I might have, that's simply not good enough. Not to mention I'm fairly certain there would be some kind of law or standard that plastic is not good enough either. If you choose to go here be willing to gamble. There are some really awesome, kind pedicurist. But when you get a lemon, don't be shocked with the surprise souvenirs you might take home with you. read more

She was amazing; she didn't speak very much English and didn't understand much either BUT the girl could match color and give you exactly what you wanted if you showed her a photo of something! Over the course of few months I came back to her and each time she delivered. I left her a $10 tip for each service because she was THAT GOOD! Sad to hear I called 4 weeks ago to make a appointment with her and she was GONE!!! I am so sad. However I decided to give the rest of the staff a chance and hoped I would find another Lynn - sadly I didn't. Instead I got one girl who was super obnoxious and rude and didn't listen to a thing I said about how I wanted my nails. After much arguing and back and forth with her I left with an okay feeling. Next service with a guy - I think he's the owner but he started me off because I had been waiting for 10-15 mins. Great. When I got back, the pregnant gal was just finished. She didn't inform or apologize to me that she cut my daughter's finger while I was gone. Later, my daughter told me that she was cut once and it hurt so much that she pulled her hand back. When I examined her finger, the cut was at least 1/4 inch long. Since I had to get my nails done last minute (the day before my graduation) and since my usual nail salon was closed, I had to find a nail shop open on a Sunday in the mid/late afternoon. Hello Nail & Spa was the only place that was open and able to accommodate my sister and I. With the experience I had with them, however, I highly regret getting my nails done here. The nail shop is fairly spacious, with an overflow section in the back, but don't let this fool you. The nail salon also seemed cluttered with various nail polishes taking up a counter the entire length behind the finger nail station. The massage chairs for the pedicures were either not working at all or would work a short amount of time before malfunctioning. The nail drying equipment they used was a joke as well. After putting my hands in there all the way and having the nail technician shoving my hand in it, my nails still did not dry properly. The nail tech naturally blamed me for not putting and keeping my hand in the dryer all the way. My manicure and pedicure were done very sloppy. The woman that did my finger nails thought of the bright idea to change the base color of my nails so that it would not match my toe nails. She then applied to sparkle coat of nail polish very inconsistently with obviously more glitter concentrated on certain finger nails as opposed to the others. When she was trying to dry my nails after each coat, she kept lecturing me and telling me that I had to put my hands all the way in the nail dryer, which I was already doing to begin with. My nails, as a result, were consistently not being dried fully due to their faulty equipment. She got irritated and shoved my left hand into the dryer, which ended up bumping my nail on my pinky finger against the side of the dryer. She, of course, did not fix her mistake when she saw it. As for my toe nails, after closer look once I left the salon and got into my car, I saw that the other woman that did my toe nails painted on my actual skin and didn't bother to clean it up. What was the final straw with this nail salon was actually paying for the service I received. On Yelp and on their front door, they state that they accept debit/credit card payments. When I handed the guy at the register my debit card, he refused to accept my payment and asked me to withdraw money from their ATM instead. I immediately asked him, "I thought you guys accept debit or credit card payments?" He responded "yes, but we prefer cash" (avoiding eye contact altogether). So, after watching several customers before me pay with their debit or credit cards with no problem, I had to use their ATM (being charged $1.50 to use it, in addition to the charge my bank charges me for using an ATM other than their own) to withdraw money to pay for my manicure and pedicure. The two women that did a terrible job on my nails were waiting by the cash register like hungry wolves to receive their tips. After paying one, she told me that I needed to pay the other woman also and pointed to her. Not too fond of demanding nail techs. Overall, my experience at Hello Nail & Spa was horrible. They do terrible manicures and pedicures and also use cheap lotion that you can find at Walmart to do your hand, arm, and leg massages. They clearly overcharge for the quality of service that you get. I also did not like being forced to use their ATM (being charged to do so) to pay them after they refused my debit card payment. Multiple customers before me paid with their debit/credit cards with no hassle, but for whatever reason they had to give me problems when trying to pay with my debit card. I've NEVER had that happen to me at any of the salons I've been too! I highly recommend going to another nail salon if you can, but if you're in a bind, BRING CASH WITH YOU. 1 out of 5 stars. I would give them negative stars if Yelp allowed it. read more

I got my nails done by the lady at the second chair (forgot her name) but she is amazing! I love my nails they were done very neatly. My nails are not too thick and the shape is beautiful. I am sooo in love with my nails!! They have a ton of different colors and nail options. The shop is fully staffed so wait times are minimal. The shop is very clean and well kept and decorated.
