It was just grand opened 3 months ago to replace "chicken and tea", at which we used to come for take-out sometimes dine-in. Was informed by staff that they use the same menu albeit with different recipe, and new owner also owns TP Tea next door, which explained why their boba milk tea tasted icky. Owner doesn't want to lose the competitive advantage of his adjacent little boba shop's, which however was equivalently awful, being cheap and meager. I'd suggest to skip them both until they get the act of integrity together. Too artificial and sweet, both Jasmine green and thai milk tea were awful! Nothing tasted right and will not order them again. Bentos were great. Ordered three, all good. Vegetables were palatable to eat. Newly renovated, store was bright, quiet yet vivacious. Friendly staff. Recommend bento but don't recommend milk tea drinks.

4.5 stars. Classic Taiwanese bentos. Good portion size, comforting taste, quick and convenient. Pretty similar menu to O2 valley in Cupertino. The sides rotate per day; I got Napa cabbage and string beans in my bento this time around. Both were well seasoned and flavorful. They offer spicy pickles on top of the bento which added a really nice kick and texture. The basil chicken was good, with plenty of basil and chunks of chicken. It does feel a touch oily, but it tastes yummy nonetheless. Overall, if you're looking for a quick comforting meal, this place will deliver.

No more Chick n Tea here, but Hello Rice is also a modern Taiwanese bento box, beverage & snack spot. Parking lot can get congested during lunch hours, but it's a good location in Sunnyvale. Yes, they have a self service kiosk inside. If you dine in, leaving a tip should be optional, but the cashier still tends to carry your foods/beverages to your table inside. I like the bento box options and beverages. Most people just order takeouts/grab and go for convenience. It does take awhile at least 12-15 minutes for your orders if dining in though. Staffs are ok. Pick up your own trash and clear your own table. The original classic milk tea I ordered was only $5 and cup was tall! That's really worth the value here, especially if you don't want to purchase it for $7-$8 elsewhere. Food portions are good sized. My basil chicken bento box meal turned out to be good too. Lots of sauces/juices in my vegetables/chicken meats/mapo tofu/etc. I had to take half home because I could only finish half of the meal. There's plenty to try during a next visit.

Ordered delivery and wow, so yummy. Great portions. Everything well flavored but also balanced, 2 different veggies and 3 different proteins! Yum. Definitely would get again.

Came on a Thursday night for a quick dinner. The interior was clean and unassuming, and you place your order on a tablet. There were a lot of togo orders online, seems like a popular takeout spot! I got the Popcorn Chicken bento, and it came out within 5 minutes of ordering which was super quick. I added the option of spicy pickled radish on the side, and it was spicy and delicious--I wish there was more haha. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and fried basil was good. Good portion overall, also next to TP Tea and Molly Tea if you want boba afterwards. In a popular area, friendly staff, quick service, would like to try more of their other snacks and bentos next time!

Newly opened Taiwanese place that replaced the Chick & Tea. The interior is remodeled so looks refreshed from before. Food served is similar too as the previous place. There's a single ordering kiosk which moved a little slowly but perhaps also because the menu is probably new for everyone. I ordered dine in and later realized I could have ordered from the seat since they have a QR code menu by toasttab which is probably easier if you are dining in. Once ordered there was maybe a 10minute wait for the food. I ordered: #B7 Basil Teriyaki Chicken Rice Plate ($16) : rating 3/5. It was pretty good and I enjoyed it until I was packing up the left overs and noticed it was swimming in a pool of oil. I've never seen that before. Usually some sauce with the oil but this was just oil left over. Also a little disappointed the second side with the chicken was another chicken dish. Would have preferred to have two vegetables instead for variety. # F1 Tradition Chicken Cutlet ($11) : rating 3/5. I ordered it medium spicy and it was fried nicely but I only tasted spicy flavor and not the other spices and powders they usually use. Hoping since they just opened that they will slowly improve some of the recipes they have. I'd still be interested in coming back to try more items. The owner also went around the tables talking to customers to ask how everything was and how we found out about them. She also said if we write a google, yelp, or little red book review they would give you a 10% off coupon. However, I already got a 10% off for yelp check in that's valid until I think 1/11.

Braised pork cutlet tasted like the ones from the night markets in Taiwan. Love that the bento comes with so much variety of home cooked dishes. They also have spicy pickled radish you can add to the rice, which compliments the braised pork rice really well. Definitely going to try other bento boxes from here next time
