Very friendly staff and quick service. This is a good team behind the counter. Will Haley come back here for a great sandwich under $10 in Hells Kitchen. They will make modifications to your sandwich no problem if you ask. Pro tip-- ask for your cheese to be melted if you like it that way. They load up the Sammie's with plenty of it, so sometimes it takes a little extra to melt. Ate the Pastrami and Monte Cristino Panini

Walked in by chance late at night since I was meaning to try New York's famous deli sandwiches. All the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful. A really big sandwich so it's good value for your money. It also came with a free bag of potato chips. Glad I took the chance.

Great sandwiches and beer . Shirlee had classic Ruben excellent and I had the New York triple meat another great sandwich you won't be disappointed try it out . Fast service in and out. Stop here for a quick lunch. It's like convenience store but they make lots of sandwiches. They have a few tables so you can eat your sandwich. It's not frills type of place. Was looking for a Reuben and a decent walk during the lunch hour at a conference in Times Square. Hell's Kitchenette fit the bill. Small deli space with a few basic tables inside. Chips, coolers with drinks and a sandwich counter. The service was fast and friendly. I will say that it was said to have an outdoor sitting area, but I did not see that. However, there is a small neighborhood park nearby. read more

Nice local deli in HK neighborhood with food, sandwiches and Carrie's beer, juices, some packages grocery and few daily use items. Prices are really solid compared to multiples places around. Had a everything bagel w/ cream cheese for 2.99 and everything bagel with peanut butter for 3.10. Ofcourse the quantity of cream cheese or PB was noticeably less but if you can live with that all is fine. Coffee is okay. Verdict - Overall good neighborhood place and will return. read more

My latest discovery is a true neighborhood gem. A small, unassuming deli on West 48th Street with reasonable prices and fast, friendly service. A small salad is only $6.99 with 6 toppings (including 2 proteins). Everything is fresh and right. I've already been back and plan to do so often. read more

This is the first review I've ever written on yelp but I was really bothered by the food they gave me. Ordered a turkey bacon, egg and avocado sandwich. The avocado was extremely brown, which is kind of an appetite killer. They should've just told me they didn't have fresh avocado and I would have been happy to substitute it with something else. Instead I was really turned off by the sandwich they gave me, not the way you want to feel about food you're about to eat. They were friendly there and I see all the other reviews are positive so maybe this was just a fluke but unfortunately this was my experience there and I was really put off by it. read more

Ordered a salad ahead of time to pickup since my work is very close by. I ordered a spinach salad with hardboiled eggs, avocado, quinoa, and chickpeas with Italian vinaigrette and grilled chicken and salsarito turkey. This place is brand new so I didn't really have any expectations. Thankfully, it went above and beyond what I had even imagined as it was a well-sized portion and very fresh. It was ready upon arrival and the staff was friendly and professional. This place should be a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

Great affordable sandwiches near the theater, but two blocks away and quieter. Husband ordered pastrami with Russian dressing and coleslaw on rye. I got a turkey sandwich. Both were fresh and nice size. It's a deli with a few tables. The deli men were helpful and pleasant! read more

Excellent little deli tucked away off the beaten path! My everything bagel was so delicious - much tastier than most hyped up bagel places in the city! It had a delightful crunch on the outside but soft and hearty inside, with veggie cream cheese that had nice chunks of peppers for a great fresh crunch! I grabbed a cup of coffee with my bagel, which was pretty decent, and only paid $3.75 for the whole thing! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area, this breakfast left me very content and ready for my day! read more

My cashier checked me out in record speed, and I was able to grab one of those Trader Joe bags in blue that everyone has been walking around with which have been hard to come by at my local Trader Joe's in LIC. If this is the closest Trader Joe's to you then you'll have to make due, I would just recommend coming here at off hours if you can.

I'll be coming here more often while my usual UWS location is under renovation since it's still convenient for me, especially given it used to be my old neighborhood. I often buy Siggi yogurts as here they are $1.99 each. The ladies - Dolores, Affou, Mamata, Savita, Tofu - at the checkout are friendly, kind and remember customers. A few speak French which I practice with them. Being originally Greek, the Dolmas in the prepared food section, are plump and particularly tasty. It's worth buying a few to take home. Adam looks taciturn but always is kind to me. He is behind the deli counter preparing sandwiches and always gives me a quarter pound of the Jambon de Paris. Miguel and Medina are also here. A loyalty card is worth having and once having accumulated many points I paid the princely sum of $1.61 for a pretty bouquet of roses in assorted colors that cost $11.99. Now that's a steal! Eden Gourmet is the sister supermarket to my beloved sadly closed Eden Gourmet of 14th street. This too is packed to the brim with fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dairy, chicken and meats. A large variety of sparkling waters, frozen entrees, ice creams and assorted temptations are here too. A small bakery has cakes and pastries available.
