    Margherita Pizza. Cost $8.95
    Danielle M.

This place was so chill. I was so quiet and I love that. The look of it was giving "underground clean subway vibes". I also appreciated them having electrical sockets because I was able to charge my phone. Me and my sisters ate here while waiting for the Harry Potter Cursed child to play. I ordered the Margherita Pizza. My Middle sister ordered Pepperoni Pizza. My baby sister ordered a tuna sandwich. My middle sister shared that she thought the middle of the pizza was a bit doughy. My baby sister mentioned her sandwich wdough. My Pizza was doughy too. But it was sooo good! The servers were sweet. I would suggest for them to alert people when they carry hot soup.

My soup was lukewarm at best. I didn't want to ask them to reheat it - I don't like my food handled more than it has to be. It was nothing special. My husband's sandwich was good but not great - made on gluten free bread and we also shared a gluten free snickerdoodle after - it was prepackaged - David's brand - pretty tasty. It was a place to have some food before a show - nothing special. It's typical diner noise and ambiance.

Nice restaurant with real service and great food. The restaurant experience of bygone eras.

Stopped in for breakfast. Ordered two everything bagels, one with cream cheese, one with butter and a cup of coffee good value for just $15 that included the tip. There's plenty of seating.. Service is excellent. They had samples of some of the best brownies I've ever had at the front counter. The bagels were delicious and good solid coffee..

Selecting this place for a pre-theater bite proved disastrous. First time checking it out, there was no table service so you place the order at the counter. Fine. I've done that at other businesses. The menu was on the wall and it was limited to sandwiches, pizza and salads. The woman at the counter was pleasant and helpful. The order was simple: 2 classic (baked) knishes and soda. We were in a time crunch since the weather was unpredictable (thunderstorms) and we didn't want to miss the curtain call of the play we were seeing. Surely our order and time spent would be in and out. Think again. The order was served to the table and my knish was cold inside. I approached who we were told, was the co-owner . He took it away and never came back to what appeared to be eternity. I brought it to his attention at 6:12 and by 6:25 still nothing. Hello microwave? They're not freshly made on site so we couldn't understand why the long wait. When we asked again, the person was abrupt and also rude. This spoiled the other meal and we ultimately asked for a full refund. Done. Dinner ended up being M&Ms and Twizzlers at the theater. Never again.

Great Food & Entertainment! This was a great trendy place to go to in New York. Right in the heart of Times Square. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pastrami sandwich and my husband had what he said to be the best burger he's ever had in his life. We are a military family that travels a lot so that being said, this burger was extraordinary. If we lived in New York, we would be regulars. Had that old fashioned feel but still modern. The entertainment was fabulous! We got to see the Satin Dollz perform. Just the cherry on top! We absolutely love this Deli and highly recommend. We really wish they opened a location in DC. We drove from Maryland to dine here, but totally worth it! Love it!

    Grilled Pastrami Reuben

My mother use to have a saying, "Well, that really hit the spot." When you try the Grilled Pastrami Reuben at Brooklyn Delicatessen Times Square you'll know what she meant! Instead of the indulgent and sometimes chewy pastrami sandwiches at Katz Delicatessen, this is on a light and moist brioche roll. It has the perfect amount of tender, melt in your mouth pastrami along with all the delicious fixin's. I gobbled it up in no time and have already made plans to come back next week! The location is so convenient for tourists catching their favorite Broadway show. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great service and fresh delicious food! Breakfast was great for our family bagels and breakfast sandwiches and the largest cup of coffee with warm cream!

There was hair and plastic in my food. This was great to find towards the end of eating it... the breakfast sandwich wasn't very good. Cute place as far as looks.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
