Too much goofing off, wait times are unbelievably excessive , we're talking HOURS before even having your name called. Staff is loud, having more ridiculous conversation than work, not a paper-free environment so that adds to the wait, I've seen staff members get nasty rude with donors and others, compensation mediocre in comparison to other competitive centers. One star is too good of a rating. The staff is not focused and donors get skipped. Average wait time to get called for processing is between 1-2 hours an additional wait time to get into a bed and be stuck for donating is about the same. 3-5 hours in total. There is new staff every other week, they don't seem to be trained on how to address the donors and the donors concerns. Beware of long wait times and unconcerned staff!! read more

Good The facility is new, clean and they actually let you sit in a chair while you wait to be pre-screened and while you wait to be pricked, which donors should be ware that you will be there a long wait even if they aren't busy and you are the only donor. The phlebotomists are very nice, friendly & attentive. Robert is great and so is Gaby, Rita & GG! I'd give 5 stars to the phlebotomists if I could, but this rating takes in the other variables on my donor experiences which I've done 8 of so far at this center. Bad This place takes FOREVER because everything is recorded on paper. Their competitors use computers and apps that make everything run faster and more efficiently. I was the only donor and was there over 4 hours for my first donation. It took hours just for the lady to set up a file. I would hate to see this place with high volume!! For my first visit, it took 3 hours to get through the screening process and another hour for my donation. The staff are very nice, but they don't work efficiently. There is a lot of standing around and workers on their phones. If the nurse/doctor is on lunch or not available, you will be waiting even longer until after they get back. After being at other plasma donation centers, I've realized how much I appreciate updated technology and efficiently ran centers. The time it takes to get paid can be over an hour whereas the other plasma centers pay immediately after releasing donors. Ugly My main complaint second to the time is that they advertise on the side of their building & website that you can make $200/week or up to $1000/month, but that really isn't true. $170 is the most a donor can make in a week during the time I powered this review. Currently they have a large banner on the side of their building and their new patient bonuses are much less than what they advertise on the website as well. Unlike their competitors, they pay for the amount of plasma collected NOT the stick, so you can go through the entire lengthy process and possibly not really be paid a dime if their machine malfunctions or donors get what is called a "bad stick". Tips Make sure you come properly hydrated and well fed. Don't just have a bowl of cereal and think that it's going to be a pleasant experience. Protein is key! I may return if they ever dial in their issues and compensate their donors equivalent to their competitors, but I don't really like spending hours on end to go donate. I called to inform them about someone that making he way there. To donate that is in mental distress. I explained to the young man named Kim that the person that was trying to come is schizophrenic in need to return back on his medication but recently is not taking the medication. And that he's violent. Cause he did not write the name down nor did he put me over to the manager or the owner or anyone that's above him. The young man I believe said his name was Kim he needs to have some retraining . I was just calling to give him a warning cuz the person could very well come this week. Because he did not write the name down and the name that was very concerning. At the least he should have put me on the phone with the manager. read more

In the hopes that it will be useful to this business, I thought I would provide some anonymous feedback. First of all, it's a plasma place. You shouldn't expect much to begin with. I would keep my stay there under 2 hours: An in and out type of thing. That being said, as a regular donor, I just wanted to point out some things that could use improvement. Firstly, there are too many unreasonable rules posted that the staff and other donors, for the most part, do not follow. Many of the donors, and some staff, teeter on the edge of disrespectful and flirtatious with the ladies that work there. A lot of the people that go there apparently don't know what headphones are, and will play and sing loud music from their phones or engage in loud and extensive phone conversations. The staff are actually quite friendly and pleasant, but less than efficient. I wouldn't say it's their fault, but rather an operational issue. As a past donor at other establishments, one thing that would help substantially is a self-service kiosk where you can sign in or some sort of ticketing system you can do online or through an app. Otherwise, we are obligated to literally fight for a spot in line while we wait for the employees to arrive and get ready for work. We have to keep track of who arrived first and whether or not we are allowed to go inside the building. This lends itself to rather uncomfortable situations where you have to watch over your spot in line or be reprimanded by security for something. This is especially true on Saturdays where, it seems, some of the donors are hungover or under the influence of some substance and behave in rather obnoxious and grotesque ways. For example, one guy kept singing and blurting out obscenities that were sexual in nature. Anyway, there is a security guard that is dressed up like a cop. Honestly, he was pretty cool, but I noticed he can be a bit moody and this leads to a less than respectful attitude. Instead of telling us not to sit on the floor, it would be more courteous to just give us seats, or as mentioned before, streamline the process so we don't have to wait so long before opening. I noticed he is very authoritative and oversteps his bounds. We are all adults, and instead of policing us so much, as a company, you could do a better job vetting our prospective donors and employees, so as to generate these types of legal liabilities. read more

This place is utter chaos. Disorganized. Long wait times, even with an appointment. Staff spends more time chit-chatting with one another instead of focusing on their donors. Their record keeping is archaic, slowing the process even more. There is no method to their process. Donors walking around, in and out of waiting area to donor area, just wandering around as they please. Staff keeps no order in the waiting areas, with waiting donors being loud, talking on phones, listening to music on their phones, disturbing other donors. This place is simply horrible. Should you plan to donate at this center, plan on spending at least 3-5 hours of your day and that may not even include your actual donation time. Don't bother making an appointment, it's meaningless. You will still wait. And be sure to be ready to enter chaotic madness. I recommend finding another donation center. read more

I went there to the lauderhill location at 7am on a Monday waited 3 hours and was sent to a second waiting room at 10am and then they did blood work and move me to a room with more questions and I told her about my medical history and I was told to come back in 2 days I went back and they told me to come back in a week. I went back in a week and I was told never to come back ever again and they put a block on me in the system I spoke with the supervisor and she said I could come back because there was no reason to be blocked. I went back and they told me if I come back id go to jail for trespassing. I asked why and they had no explanation I wasn't rude. I was embarrassed and the experience felt personal even though I've never met anyone from this location. They just do whatever they want to people and band you for no reason. This place needs to be investigated for bias reasons and hate issues. They have serious attitude problems and treat people like nobody's it's unprofessional and anyone can just dislike you for no reason. They stereotype you based on the need for money and take advantage of that. The workers will tell me I shouldn't have ever told my real history and I got banned for that. It's very ghetto. It feels like nobody with common sense or any supervisor with professional knowledge can help in any situation. They take turns treating people like trash. If I can give zero stars I would. They cater to the homeless better than someone who has actually had a real home and bills. I saw people lying about their address with no mail getting treated like royalty as they do have their favorites and know the homeless people by name and they are the rudest of them all. But they find an pick reasons to tell someone who really needs to donate not to come back ever again for no reason. I asked why and the guy just said he doesn't know but don't come back. read more
