Staff is friendly but scammers for sure as the staff does not or chooses not to tell the buyer about their hemp products. Its a shame this place has the rating it does because it is much more deserving in my humble opinion. Today was the first time I visited Hempire. Upon pulling up it was nice to see they have available parking. I walked in and immediately was greeted by David. This clearly cant be the guy the negative reviews talked about because he was very friendly, got me exactly what I needed and even got me 10% off my first order as a first time customer! I got 5 (full sized) joints for $5 ( shake but cant beat that price!) And I got a battery and indica cartridge. They had multiple other selections and I cant wait to go back and try more. They have an atm available that allows up to $200 to be pulled out AND they have tap pay and also accept credit cards! All this was very convenient as this comes into play later... As I went to pay (ONLY $35!) unfortunately my card was DECLINED and I ended up having to leave. David made the whole interaction very comfortable and apologized that I was having problems with my bank. He was even kind enough to give me a free joint which was nicer than the $1 joints and said here's at least something for you tonight. THAT is a company that cares about his customers!! Shortly after I left my bank texted me and I cleared up everything and went back. David still gave me all 5 joints, and had all my products ready for me and gave me that 10%. Okay I have never left this poor of a review. This isn't really a dispensary.. more of a window behind bars inside a tiny room. They have little tvs with a list of their products. No pictures or anything, and they only carried brands that I had never heard of before. I've gone to probably 15+ dispensaries across California and none have ever been like this one. The employee working was not friendly whatsoever, but I don't blame the guy because I wouldn't be happy go lucky on my shift here either. They're open til 10pm and most dispensaries close before then, which is why we came despite the low reviews. We left just a minute or two after walking inside, and I won't be back. There are a lot of things that could be improved about this place, but the easiest fix would be to add pictures to their product list so that customers could actually see what they're buying since there isn't any display. read more

Second time coming here nice small place, not a huge selection but most of the inventory they do carry is of very high quality. Which makes it for an easy selection, I'm a fan of the CBD chocolate edibles they have and the drinks. Something very nice to get you through the day but wont make you feel lazy or drowsy. They carry a few flowers "cookies" was my choice of the day and some cartridges that are amazing. Some are about expensive but if you don't mind paying for quality this is the place to go. Overall I like this place is a very convenient spot close to my house and job, so I'll definitely will be stopping by again. Hopefully in the future the carry a bigger inventory. read more

This place is pretty awesome. They rent out the back space of a popeye's chicken. I'm serious! lol. --- The prices are crazy cheap and I have no idea if they are even charging us taxes, or if their taxes are already baked into the price, but it seems weird that its THIS cheap.-- Not complaining at all. Its the biggest reason I keep coming back. It's CHEAP! That being said, I am highly skeptical of the edibles sold here. They sell products that claim upwards of 1,000 mg of thc in a single edible product, which, I thought was illegal in California. Every dispensary I've been to follows this. Also, these edible products CERTAINLY are NOT what's actually in the bag. The 1,000 mg bags, I have estimated to contain the legal 100mg amount per bag, they just advertise the greater-than-100mg per bag amount as an advertising gimmick. I know this because I've had friends go purchase from here as well, and they agree. There is no way the 1,000 mg products actually contain 1,000 mg of thc. But its a nice way to inflate the ego's of cannabis noobs. I don't blame them. I say, its still totally okay to buy the edibles, just know they are no where near the advertised amount. Expect them to pack as much punch as any other edible legally sold in California, which cannot exceed 100 mg by law. read more

if i could rate this place zero stars, i absolutely would. i would like to preface that i have been smoking for years and have worked in the industry for years, in two different states. (one being cali) anyway, i went in to get a couple prerolls and was so excited to get home and smoke them as i have been out for a few days. while trying to decide what prerolls to get, something felt off, especially when the "budtender" pulled a preroll out of the packaging to show me it was rolled in "keef". now, as someone from the industry, this was a bit odd as usually you don't take the product out of the packaging to "show" a customer / guest, but i moved past it, knowing not all dispensaries are the same. i get home and open the non infused preroll but it smelled and tasted like a cigarette / primetime (cigar for those who dont know what that is) but i ignored it as i am fully aware and knowledgeable that not all flower / prerolls taste or smell the same as other products or strains. its either harvested / grown different or contain different terpenes, etc. so, i took a few hits anyway through the unpleasant smell and taste and waited for a bit. didn't feel a thing. i then opened the infused one, very confused and just wanting to get a little high so i could relax, and again an unpleasant smell and taste. i decide at that moment to not get these products again as they aren't for me. i then take a few hits anyway and wait, then a few more and wait, a bit longer. still nothing. at this point im so confused that im questioning what im smoking. i check the packaging and it seems legit but there are some questionable things, however not every company packages the same so i give it the benefit of the doubt. i switch back over to the other preoll and take a few more hits, still nothing. at this point ive taken maybe 8-10 hits and feel nothing which is not possible...unless you are someone who smokes so much everyday that a preroll wont get you high. at that point you need to take a break. i start doing research online about this dispo bc im feeling like i might be crazy, and i see all these horrible reviews about this dispo and what do you know; not real products. i then call very kindly and respectfully to get a refund as i got a defective product. if you work in the industry or have come across a defective product you know that most the time you can return or exchange. now, i wasn't sure what their policy was but instead of telling me the policy the manager said "if you were in the industry you would know thats not something you can do" (which is not true for most dispensaries that have actual policies put in place.) he then gaslights me and says i must have not gotten high at all because of my tolerance. come on dude, as someone who has smoked for a long time i think i would know my tolerance. so instead of taking accountability and fixing it he decided to tell me its kot his problem and i need a tolerance break. i feel so disrespected and as a former lead / manager i am appalled. i then went to an actual dispensary and got the cheapest preroll i could find and took 4-5 hits compared to my 8 earlier; & guess what; and i felt high and relaxed. i usually dont make reviews but i could not let this horrible experience go untold, because i am absolutely shocked to have experienced something like this and have never had to worry about or make sure im going to an actual dispensary. save yourself the time, and money. read more

The staff does not pick up the phone either, even during normal business hours, and you can't leave a message, as their mailbox isn't even set up. No website either, even after being open for months. C'mon guys, if you don't take care of your customers, someone else will, and if you don't get it together, Mother Nature is going to replace you very quickly.
