I always make sure to visit Hendough when I'm in town visiting my parents. The building is in a really cozy older home with plenty of seating on both floors and on the front patio. We made a to go order so I didn't take any pictures of the food, but I did get picture of the amazing selection of donuts they had in the display case. The food was excellent. I got a few different types of biscuit breakfast sandwiches for me and my parents to share and my gf had the cobb salad. There was a little miscommunication (our fault) when ordering one of the specials and we ended up getting one of the items that we didn't intend to get. The lady at the counter was super nice and said we could keep it and that she would make the item that we originally wanted for free. Excellent customer service even when it was totally our fault. I will visit here every single time I go to Hendersonville. It's incredible. We were able to park our back and walked in to not too long of a line. We ordered a sandwich each and three donuts for later. We were able to easily grab a table and our food didn't take very long to come out. The ladies working the counter were super nice and rolled with the punches when their system went down briefly. The coffee and latte we got were excellent. I cant wait to go back! There has been some renovations to the location that i saw on their social media page which will only make the experience better. I've been here twice and enjoyed my meal both times. Staff are always super friendly and helpful plus I've never ordered anything that wasn't filling and this restaurant us a hidden gem of Hendersonville. You can sit inside or out if the weather is permitting and have options to order ahead for pickup. I wish more businesses would offer call ahead and pickup, HenDough know how to take care of their customers that's for sure. We popped in on a Friday afternoon around 2pm to pick up a couple doughnuts. Since it was so late, selection was limited. We got a chocolate iced, a strawberry glazed and regular glazed doughnut and that order is our most favorite to our lesser favorites. Long ago I worked at a Greek diner/doughnut shop. There were still a ton available and we chose strawberry, raspberry almond and apple fritter. The strawberry and raspberry were good but very light on the flavor. They fry their doughnuts (I think) and that taste is pretty distinct. The Apple fritter was our fav. It was full of apple chunks and topped with icing. In the future I'd order more of the elaborate ones for their extra flavor (should have went with the twix or Boston cream I was eyeing!) The egg and cheese biscuit took the cake for me. The biscuit was somehow dense and fluffy at the same time. Real eggs and delicious cheese on one of the best biscuits I've ever had. Dang. It was awesome. In addition to all of this, I got a coffee. I eat a lot of donuts. These are some of the best I've had, I would say they are more cronut like than normal donuts. They're flakey but not overly soft, and they are great. The berry cheesecake donut was my favorite, but even if the sugar twist was better than 90% of donuts you'd get anywhere with cool stuff on them.
