I bought a mechanically sound used lower mileage VW Passat. It had an old sagging suede headliner, bad rear window brake light, bad door speaker, bad window switch, bad door lock actuator, bad rear door lock, and sagging door vinyl/leather on all four doors. Henri and his team redid the doors and headliner with a modern flat cloth, took parts I purchased and replaced and repaired all the bad items. These guys can fix anything and are amazing! I had heard a great word of mouth review about Henry Auto from a friend who had a leather repair done on his car. On a whim, I called Mr. Henry, and he was able to work on my car right away. I had him address two small tears on the driver seat of my VW R32, and some repairs to the door panel. Not only did he do the work while I waited and finished up in under an hour, Mr. Henry is a really friendly guy and great to chat with. He also has three friendly dogs (poodle mixes) at his shop that you can hang with! The shop is a bit tough to find; it's the last door in the row of buildings, but if you get lost like I did, call Mr. Henry and he will come outside and direct you to the shop. Note that this place isn't fancy. Don't be looking for plush customer amenities while you wait. It's like going to your uncle's cousin's garage and having some work done on your car. tl;dr - Mr. Henry does great work for a very reasonable price. He and his dogs are friendly. Shop isn't fancy but he does honest work. Call him if you get lost finding his place. read more

My 2019 Audi had some self inflicted damage. Adhesive got on my leather seat by accident. I tried to remove it with soap and water and no luck. Henry's shop is kinda hard to find. It's in a very industrial section of Chantilly. I had slightly damaged a small section of the seat surface by cleaning it myself. He helped me remove the adhesive with some solvent and did not damage the seat further. He did this all for no charge. He also did not recommend repairing further as it was near the stitching and would discolor it. Standup guy and great to work with. read more

I only met Henry once so far for an estimate. But while I was getting the estimate he fixed one of my door handles at no charge! And he pointed out that one of my tires wasn't safe (he doesn't do tires he was just helping me to be safe) He's ordering some parts for my car now, and I will go back next week for some more work. Bought a new car from Precision Automotive down the street from them. When I bought the car, the original sunshade was taken out because of the prior owner's damage. So, the dealership owed me a sunshade. About a week after the car purchase, I took the car back in for the sunshade. They told me it would take a couple of hours to a day. The next day, they tell me the "shop" is having a hard time installing it and may take an extra day. The next day, they tell me the "shop" tore the new sunshade during install and will have to order another for installation. The next day, they tell me the "shop" is unable to replace the sunshade. They had torn the second sunshade during installation. Now... the rest of that conversation is for the dealership and myself to decide. I did request the name of the shop they were using for the sunshade installation. This shop tore two sunshades before deciding the only way to install the sunshade was to replace the entire moon roof (which may cause leaking and other problems down the line). I get my car back (finally - only took 4-5 days). The bar that moves the sunshade no longer moves - it's electronic. Thankfully, it's in a position where it's not in the middle of the moon roof - pushed all the way forward. One new ding on the car on the driver side passenger door - only noticed it when I wiped some of the dirt off the car. A few new surface (recoverable) scratches. The trip odometer was reset - sketchy practice. I will edit my review after a second shop or the VW dealership evaluates. read more
