This place, owned and operated by Morshed, is an excellent place for your autos fixed. Both my wife and I love German cars and we have Mercedes and BMW. My Mercedes needed brake replacement. Dealer wanted close to $5,000 for replacement. Morshed charged me only $2,800 and said it will be even cheaper if I did not insist him to get only the Mercedes OEM brake pads and rotors. Awesome job! It feels like a new car. Dealer gave me a list of another $2,000 worth of recommended stuff. He said I only needed the brake fluid flush only. What an honest guy! He put the best battery in my BMW and it is running like new! Dealer wanted double. I have relatives who own BMW and Mercedes and they routinely come here. They are also very very happy! read more

Just to start, I was a mechanic in the Army for 12+ years where I rebuilt engines, trans, diagnostics, etc. so I knew going in what the problems were. Unfortunately, I don't have the space any longer to work on my own vehicle. That said, I whole heartedly loved the work that was done to my pickup truck. I had Morshed redo my entire suspension and bushings. Not once did he upsell any of his service. In fact, as he was working around the things I came in for, I asked him to do additional work since most of the stuff were apart. Call him and get your work done. I have struggled for some time to find an honest car repair shop. Now I am a customer for life. I rolled up to Road Trust Automotive and the owner, Morshed, greeted me with a smile. He asked about the issue with my 2000 Ford Explorer and jumped in and we took a test drive. He quoted me a price and even though the actual parts were more expensive, he honored his quote and I paid a very reasonable repair bill. He made it easy for me to pick up my truck and felt really good about the whole thing.. If you want to go to a place that is honest, trustworthy and reasonably-priced in the Dulles/Sterling area, go here. I will not take my car anywhere else now, thanks to a recent experience I had at a garage near this one--Dulles Automotive (see my review of them here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/dulles-automotive-service-center-sterling-2)-- and the comparison I did between Dulles Automotive and Road Trust. Because Road Trust is currently in the process of renewing their ability to perform state inspections, I could not get my car inspected here, which is where I have had a few things done on my car in the last year or so (new brakes, a few oil changes and an emissions inspection). Based on my experience with the owner on these jobs, I felt that this place was not only trustworthy but very fair about price. I did not know for SURE, though, because I know nothing about cars and haven't been using them for very long--had also not compared them directly with anyone else yet. So since they could not do my state inspection I was forced to take my car somewhere else nearby and chose Dulles Automotive because it was on the way to work and had signs advertising their inspection abilities. As mentioned in my review in more detail, this place told me I had two serious problems with my car, one of which they said needed to be done urgently and could not even wait a few days--that one they said was a $600 job which they could do for $450. The other problem they said would be $250 and also needed to be addressed soon. Wanting to do my own research and comparison, I took my car to Road Trust to see what they had to say. The owner came right out, popped my hood and told me (and showed me) right then and there how bad/urgent the leak was. He said it could wait a few weeks until my next paycheck--which the other place told me I could not do--and he quoted me at $140. The other problem he said was non-existent. Road Trust just saved me over $560, and I now can wait a few days until I can actually afford the repair rather than be bullied into doing it now and not having enough money for things like food and gas until my next paycheck. In general the owner of Road Trust (and therefore the garage as a whole) is a place you can TRUST for HONEST and straightforward advice and work on your car, for pretty much as low a price as can be expected for the work they are doing. So thankful for Road Trust and the few garages left that DON'T give auto mechanics a bad name. read more

I came here for an AC work. My acura TL compressor died. Morshed(owner) is the guy you can trust. I got my AC fixed in 50% less then what the actual dealer would have charged. This is a small shop so don't expect convenience like same day service, immediate diagnosis. You have to leave the car for a day or two. Although he did provide me great drop in to my office back. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy and won't charge you extra or upsell you for anything. read more

They are very nice, great people to work with. They will definitely work with you. The only thing is that you would have to check the car before and after making sure they did not make any extra markings on the car. As when i got my car back there was a scratch on my bumper and a ding on my door. They painted multiple parts on my car, the paint was good but not the best. Again you get for what you pay for. I have been a customer of Road trust automotive for almost 10 years now. Morshed, the owner, is AWESOME. You couldn't find another honest mechanic in the Northern Virginia area for sure. This shop has been really flexible where I can drop my car off and pick up a convenient hours. They are reasonable priced and most importantly trust worthy. They do state and emission inspections as well. True story. One time I took my car after a Collision to fix the hood damage. After a few years, the Paint job started to fade compared to the rest of the car. Morshed fixed it at no cost to me. He took ownership of the issue and did the right thing.
