Ate here for the first time today, everything was the great. The couple that run the place are very friendly. The food was all fresh and tasted homemade. Will come back again soon!

I love supporting local small businesses. In my opinion these are the heart & soul of their communities. In addition, they are usually better than the large chain eateries because they actually care about their customers and put love into their dishes. These are the sentiments I felt when I visited Bbee's Home Cooking! I'm glad "Home Cooking" is in their restaurant's name, because that's what I felt their food is about. You get that warm communal feeling once you enter. It's like being transported back in time by decades by the ambiance. The decor screams of old school appeal by the colors, patterns, and photographs. It seems the joint is run by an older European couple (he hosts and runs the operation, she cooks the meals). They both seem very genuine and are extremely friendly. I was there for only a minute when a lady walked in and she was immediately greeted by name. I ordered the wings and fries and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The food was good and the price was more than fair. In general, I noticed that the prices were inexpensive and add that southern hospitality great customer services and you have a solid local restaurant like Bbee's. It's no fluke they have been serving the area for many years. It's a recipe for success! (Pun intended)

This eatery was hands down one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I got the country fried steak and eggs. It was fast service, and a great atmosphere. Someone was there to greet us immediately and seat us. I will definitely come back. I didn't take a picture of the food because I ate it to fast, but it was like heaven.

This is obviously a local's place because everyone coming in knew the owners and were speaking to the Cook. It appeared the cook and the hosts were married to each other. When you pull up you might say I'm not sure about this place. But push past any fear and go in because the food is amazing. The restaurant was clean just a little old. You have a menu and then if you look at the board above the counter there are also daily specials. Check to the left because not only is there a daily special but a list of other specials as well. We ordered off the menu and took the advice of previous diners reviews on Yelp. We are not disappointed, the food was abundant and tasty. Neither of us could complete our meal. And the price versus the cost is phenomenal. This is a great value for your money. I hope to be in the area in the future and be able to try some of their classic meals.

A small place but don't go with the looks. They make a killer breakfast. I had an omelette and it was perfect. (No burn). Very friendly guy.

Our food came pretty fast and we both enjoyed large pizzas. My husband and I split a large pizza with chicken, spinach, and garlic. Wow it was amazing! Beware the pizza is pretty thin though so I wouldn't recommend splitting with more than 2 people. We were seated right next to the dessert case, which made it hard for us to say no. The brownie/strawberry cheesecake was amazing. The inside gives diner vibes and the outside offers nice seating when the weather is well. The menu is very large and we will be back to eat pizza and try something new.

Everything we've tried has been phenomenal -- the pizza is always fresh with perfect crust and flavor, the subs are stacked and delicious, and the desserts are next-level. Their cheesecake, cakes, and cookies are absolutely outstanding and taste homemade, not mass-produced. The service has always been friendly and welcoming, and the consistency keeps us coming back year after year. If you're anywhere near Sanford -- especially if you're traveling through -- this place is a must-stop. Highly recommend!

Our server was Emily I believe she was so sweet and we will be asking for her when we go back. The restaurant was very cute and cozy. It reminded of a nicer version of Luke's diner from Gilmore Girls. lol Also while we were there we were blessed by one of the managers who paid for our meal, we are very grateful, but we were too nervous to say thank you in person to him so hopefully he reads this. Thank you so much! It was a beautiful diner! My husband had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, he loved it. I had the steak tips with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. It was delicious!!! Especially the potatoes I love potatoes hehe! Thank you all again!

Saving Grace: The two lovely young ladies that prepared & served our breakfast. Ordered a bagel…read moreegg and cheese with lettuce and tomato and a breakfast burrito. Really good, tasty and delicious. Prepared and served quickly and lovely. The iced coffees were watered down and not good at all. I was very surprised that the prices were so high and did not expect them to be for a small neighborhood caffe. The only reason l I amgiving a 5 star review were due to the 2 employees that were working on the day I went, which was last Thursday, unfortunately they weren't wearing name tags, something the owners should consider. They constantly checked in with myself and my friend, asked if we needed anything had any questions and were super helpful sweet attentive and professional. I would definitely consider going back but it is way too expensive.

It is very much the type of environment that calls for a sit down-even if a brief one. I noticed most folk sat in with their coffees/food/pastries. The service was friendly but sadly the espresso and steamed milk machines were broken during my visit meaning many coffee items were unavailable. Major bummer as I am an iced latte lover so I settled for a cold brew which was decent. I definitely would have preferred a latte so hopefully next time I'm in Sanford, all systems are go. I also ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and requested the turkey option instead of regular bacon. I would have assumed the "turkey" option meant turkey bacon. To my surprise it was actually deli sliced turkey. While it wasn't overall unpleasant, I would have preferred turkey bacon given it is a breakfast sandwich. Would have given it that crispy element. But as stated, it was nice and a good size for the price tag. I didn't have room for any pasty, cake or pie but looking forward to trying next time as they all looked really yummy on the display case! If you are looking for a coffee or quick cafe stop in Sanford, this is a notch above the chains and worthy of a stop!
