The best part about going to a good stylist is that they listen to you but tell you when your expectations won't work with the hair you have but still have you walk out with a beautiful cut. It is hard to find a stylist like this...and Maria is it. Another great thing about her is that she gets back to you quickly and tries to work out a day and time that fits you best. I truly cannot stand when I text someone and don't get a response for days. She is on top of things which is a great when everyone is so busy and no one has time to hunt someone down to give them money for a service. The price is another factor for all of us. Her fee is on par with other stylist and you definitely get your money's worth. She takes her time and you never feel rushed out of her studio. All in all you get a great value for a great cut from a wonderful person.

The stylist was nice, but the haircut itself was poorly done. The layers sit on top of each other instead of being blended, and the overall result looks uneven and unfinished. This is not what I asked for at all. My bangs were cut last, and although I specifically requested curtain bangs, I received something completely different. It looks like I caught fire with my hair... I'm especially upset because there's nothing I can do to fix this right now -- I have to wait for my hair to grow out before it can be corrected elsewhere. On top of that, I was charged $55 for a blowout without being informed that it would cost extra. At my regular salon, this service is included. It also wasn't a professional blowout: the tools were old, the dryer was outdated, and I left with messy hair instead of a well-shaped blowout. I usually go to a different salon, but this location was closer to my home and more convenient, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I regret that decision. I'll be waiting a few months for my hair to grow out and then returning to my regular salon to fix it.
