I went to get a full set and a pedicure. Service is poorly... My nails looked so bulky and had a lot of bumps, they left nail polish around my cuticles. On the pedicure side they did such a lazy job. I had asked for the Organic Delux pedicure which was $57 a little over priced for the service I was getting. The lady doing my pedicure did not removed all the dead skin, my nails were uneven,she did quick scrub a quick leg massage. I didn't even get to finish it . I got mad and left when I saw that she was getting ready to polish my toes on top of some old nail polish. I told her and she told me it was old nail polish underneath my toe nails. BS... My experience was bad since the minute I walked in. So disappointed. I do not recommend this place at all!!! read more

I drove from my home in Buckeye to the Herbal Nails on Happy Valley in N. Phoenix because I loved this salon! Fast forward to present day when I tired of the 25 mile drive each way. I was content to get "dips" on my side of town until I stumbled upon this salon one day! Despite the rumored opening of an Herbal Nails on the west side, my emails to corporate went unanswered. Got the most expensive 4step jelly pedicure and it was heaven ! My feet were destroyed and sore from my job when I came in, and when I left it looked like I had a feet transplant. My nails and skin looked and felt healthy and beautiful. My sister in law & I visited this location for the first time yesterday. It smelled amazing, was very clean, & most employees were very friendly. We made an appointment, but still had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seen. The girls who worked on my nails apologized for the wait several times though, which I appreciated. Amy prepped my nails for my gel mani during my pedi. She was very nice & did a great job. My pedi & gel mani (done by a really nice girl whose name I didn't catch) turned out awesome. My personal experience was great & based on that i would return. However, my sister in law got a full set of acrylics with gel on top. The shape of the acrylics was perfect & her nails looked beautiful, until they started the gel. The colors she chose were glitter & the tech told her repeatedly that next time she should "choose a solid in the same color as the glitter to go behind it." But, he didn't just go ahead and do that after realizing the first coat was glitter only. Instead, he continued to do coats of the glitter gel until it was all over her skin & the texture of the nail was uneven and extremely thick. Update: The owner called regarding my review & was so so nice. Apologized for the experience we had as the tech was new & it was a rare circumstance & will be re-doing my sister in law's nails at no cost. Be very careful if you go to this place, they are just looking for a way to get money from you. I asked for a full set for my nails because they told me it was $45 but they never mentioned that they would charge me more money for the length of the nails or if I asked for a little glitter, they just passed me to my seat without mentioning anything about that. When I went to pay they told me it would be $82, when they had said it would be $45. I asked why and they only said that because they were a bit long, I told them again that they never mentioned anything like that, and they just didn't know what to say. Today was my 2nd time here. Jenny has done my nails on both occasions. She sits down and asks what she can for you. She helps with colors and gives her input which is important to me. I have been to many nail salons and it's hard to find somewhere that is willing to take their time with you. My search is over I will do the drive to the west side. Today the girl doing my toes must have been new. Because the gentleman that checks you in and out kept coming by to check on me. Also Jenny came to make sure everything was fine a few times. Everyone has their first day somewhere I appreciate that I was checked on. This is the kind of treatment that makes you feel pampered. I love this place! The owners and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating! Immediately upon arriving, they were extremely personable and helpful. I had gotten sunburned on my legs a few days before and they upgraded my pedicure for free to accommodate for it and to help soothe my skin. Let's just say this is the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. This was my first time going here for a nail service and my nails look horrible not to mention I was also given attitude by the nail tech when I showed her what a horrible job she did and then to pass me off to her sister sitting next to her to fix my nails. Then to my surprise find out that the nail tech is the sister of the manager that was going to fix my nails. What I find very disturbing is the manager did not tell her tech anything about being rude, and they were both taking about me when I went to wash my hands in English and in their language. I went to this nail salon for the first time. They were kind enough to get 4 pedicures in for my sister, nieces and I before they closed. I really appreciated that. The place was nice and clean. The massage chair was a lot better than most places I have been too. The pedicure service have some room to improve. The nail cut wasn't to my liking. The person didn't ask me how short I wanted the cut and it felt like he barely cut my toenails. I asked for a shorter cut. I could have like more filing and cleaning under the nails. I got the gel and loved how it turned out. The massage was good. Overall, there are some room for improvement but I would return for basic services. read more

It has been a year or two since I last got a pedicure so I figured I would treat myself and give herbal nails & spa a try. Everything was great up until it came time to get my toes painted. The guy painting my toe nails dug his own bare nail into the side of my big toe to remove nail polish (which hurt really bad). My toe started hurting the next day , and I possibly may have an infection now since I squeezed some pus out the side of my toe. As you can see in the picture it is very inflamed. Firstly, I have been looking for a new nail salon ever since I moved here (july 2017). It wasn't until I started coming to Herbal Nails and Spa (Dec 2018) that had the same vibe and service as my salon back home in Chicago! I am a bit confused by some of the other reviewers here only because yes the pedicures may be "pricey" but there are options! The cheapest basic is only $22 (cuticle care, cut, buff, etc with 5 minute massage, and color)...so how is that expensive in comparison to other places? The sns dip with tips are truly amazing here. I love my ladies Amy and Jenny. They are genuine people and care about their customers. When i don't like something i communicate and they have ALWAYS accomdated. Scott is another great human being. He likes to create jokes and tries to make connections with customers. I work down the street and have brought over ten people to this place because how great it is. The salon down the street did a horrible job and am so glad i found this place. I don't agree with the negatives, if you are unhappy speak up. I assure you they will make it right. During a pedicure a couple months ago the ladies wanted to save time by wrapping my nails in foil with acetone to remove my gel nail polish. The girl doing my manicure left for lunch while I got my pedicure & didn't come back for an hour & a half. I had to ask to have the foil removed bcus my fingers were starting to burn & someone else had to finish the job. I decided to give them another try a month later for a pedicure & was told they couldn't take me bcus it was 30 minutes before closing time for them. I told myself ok I guess I could understand. Today I went again with an hour and 10 minutes till closing & was told the wait would be 40 minutes & I said ok I'll wait. Then they said they couldn't take me bcus the time would run past 7pm. What the hell kind of customer service is that. I guess they don't really need the business.‍ Too many nail salons for them to be refusing customers.
