I scheduled movers for a Saturday afternoon from 3-6. Maya called around 2:50 pm that they would be there around 6:30-7. I called a couple times to check in and around 6:15 pm she said they would be later. My storage unit closes at 10 so I decided to cancel and asked if they could come Monday morning. She said they could come Monday afternoon. I don't feel comfortable committing considering I had an afternoon time slot and need to be out this week. I asked if she could switch around the morning with the afternoon slot for me since I waited all day. She said she could not do that. It was a waste of time and I also spent $55 on a parking permit and will need to spend that again for a permit for movers who will actually come out. I do not recommend if you schedule an afternoon time slot, they are not reliable. read more

Would give 10 stars if I could. I've had awful experiences with movers before but these guys were dreamy. Scheduling with the office was super professional. Guys called to let me know they were a few minutes behind due to traffic. Alex, Art and Danny were super nice and funny. Showed up and got straight to work - the total job took 2.5 hours and they disassembled, wrapped and reassembled our beds, table, etc - have never had a mover do that! I really appreciate Maya (orcastrated my move), Vlad and Andrew... this moving company right here, the moving business done CORRECTLY!!! First and foremost, Maya hands down has the best customer service even when things go awry. Long story short, Here and Now Movers were hired to move my belongings from a storage unit. Andrew and Vlad were punctual, professional and very kind. I was running behind to meet them due to traffic, Maya called me about 20 minutes prior to the gentleman arriving, I let her know, easy. I arrived, apologized for my tardiness and let them in to the storage unit. The little items were all in the front of the unit so about 45 minutes later I get a call from Maya. Maya is calling me to let me know what has been discovered. I catch the elevator upstairs and Andrew immediately was like "ma'am none of your items were packed correctly and I believe you have a lot of damaged". I walked in and tv boxes were laid flat, the mirror was under that, bookshelf cracked and scrapped, glass broken... falling out the boxes. Vlad put his hands on his hips and said "yikes". Andrew said who moved you in I said "New Rey/ Ray", I said it's a VA moving company. Vlad said "oh okay" and then he shook his head. Andrew said "ma'am I don't think it's a good idea to move this into your home because of your baby... we need to trash it here". I went down stairs, informed the manager and she approved it. Vlad and Andrew carried it out and placed it in not on the side of the dumpster. The move went on and about 3 hours later, my belongings had been moved. Apologies, this review is long overdue. In preparation for a move and fixing my home for sale, I had packed up many boxes for storage, to include furniture. The storage facility chosen, was right up the street (no more than 10 minutes away). I looked to Angie's List, as a beginning start of reference. Normally, I will reach out to three companies and receive their quotes. All quotes received were over one thousand dollars; mind you - it's two rooms worth of boxes and a storage facility, 10 minutes away. All of these companies had outstanding reviews, as well. One company wasn't licensed and the owner of another company, bragged about how wonderful his packers were, greatly deserved of those additional fees. I continued my search and now looked to Yelp, to help me find an affordable mover, with equally good reviews. I spoke with Maya, she was nice and responsive. Deets were arranged and price quoted was fair and affordable. A crew of three, promptly arrived and went straight to work (with speed) - like BAM, no messing around here! They had all the supplies to wrap and box. Vlad was meticulous and kept asking if there was anything else and what's next. I enjoyed his personality; he was cheeky (in a fun way) and cared about doing a good job and took pride in his work. His team of two, were fast, strong and friendly. Off to the storage facility we go, quickly loading up my cube. In the end, nearly half the cost of all those other quotes received. Would I hire again? Absolutely!! read more

These guys were amazing. Ronaldo and Andrew! I think I owned the heaviest 2 living room furniture sets ever made, 2 huge sofas, love seats, etc while somehow moving it all through a 28 in door and a 30 in hallway, with not a scratch to the walls or my furniture! And with what I knew were smiles, but they were wearing masks and taking all the covid precautions. They moved swiftly, but careful at the same time. And it was half the price of the other more reviewed businesses on here. 200 mile move. 2 guys and a truck, packed my boxes and furniture, TV, large wall mirrors, frames, lamps drove 200 miles and unpacked up and down 3 floors and not a single thing broke. Comparable prices to others but the price isn't set or estimated. No extra fees for anything, all included in the hourly rate. Good communication with the office and follow up call after movers left to make sure everything was ok. The guys put everything on the floors I indicated and asked if the items weren't marked. I tip my hats to Alex, Vlad, and Sergii the dream team of Here and Now Movers! First off, let me just say that Maya who coordinated the move was extremely helpful and reliable. They made a move with two stops, so easy for me. Originally, I was going to rent another truck and get two family members to make the second stop but it was so much easier and cheaper to use this company to do everything, and would have been a disaster if you keep on reading. The movers showed up with an extremely positive and ready to work attitude right at 9 am (my exact move time). We were laughing the whole way through and I put on some music so everyone could have some fun while moving. They went above and beyond and even cleaned my grill when they were moving it. They packed my items into a storage that I thought would have been too small and saved me having to pay an extra $100 dollars a month for extra space! They moved me out of my 3 story townhome and into storage with ease, courtesy and professionalism. Then came the second stop, a 4 story townhome, where my master bedroom happened to be on the fourth floor area, of course there was no elevator and the fourth floor had an extremely narrow doorway. The furniture could not get through but these guys tried and tried and managed to get every single thing up those stairs without damaging the walls. I thought they would have given up because I had already said it's okay. I didn't know the door was so narrow, but they didn't give up. They even got the tools out ready to take down the wall railings to get everything moved. They even moved furniture down the stairs that I needed removed from the space I was going to be living in. I mean all in all, I read so many reviews and I am EXTREMELY happy with choosing them. Their prices are very reasonable and honestly were a lot cheaper than a lot of the movers I had contacted before. After talking to several, several companies I am glad I chose them. All guys who came were fully vaccinated and just really did go above and beyond. I know this is a super long review, but they took a move that I was dreading and made it into a pleasant experience. I was honest and up front with what I had in the home and the furniture to be moved and that is the key thing when you hire movers. Please be fully transparent with them because when you don't that's when you place the company and yourself in a compromising situation. I have also learned to give grace in the future if my movers ever run a little late, because seeing how we ran into that major unexpected issue with the furniture at the second stop that was really unplanned, but they made sure to get everything where it was supposed to be and I'm thrilled. I'll show a picture of the home we cleaned out and then the narrow doorway to fit a KING size bed, frame and chest drawer through! Thank you guys! Great moving experience from beginning to end. The initial quote was straightforward and well priced. I got a window when I could expect to have the movers arrive and on moving day, I got a heads up call to let me know they were 10mins out. The guys arrived with masks, moving pads, and dollies which made for a quick loading while making sure my things were all protected. The unload was just as efficient, almost too quick for me to keep up, so they're not milking the time clock at all. We needed to move 1 giant, awkard 300 lb bathtub up a flight of stairs for a bathroom remodel. Start to finish, these guys were exactly what I was looking for. Maya was very quick to correspond on yelp. They gave a window of 12-4, looked at their schedule, and said I'd expect close to 1pm. 12:59 they showed up. Said they'd call in advance. They did. The guys labored this beast up the stairs with no damage to the walls ( and there was about 3/4" of clearance) and were on their way. All you ever want is someone to do exactly what they say they are going to do. I won't waste my time shopping around next time. This was the most efficient move I have ever seen! The two strong men showed up a few minutes early, masked, keeping appropriate distance. Assessed the move, and got right to work. Blanketed and taped furniture, never stopped moving. Wiped shoes when coming in from outside every time. Loaded and unloaded in under 3 hours, not a single second wasted. Great price, great service! Overall, the crew arrived on time, disassembled and reassembled furniture, and moved me into my new place within a reasonable amount of time. Also, Maya always picked up the phone to answer any questions. The issue is that they left behind a box of my belongings and did not know where the box was located. Had the box been left inside my old apartment, it wouldn't have been a huge deal (even though an inconvenience) at least I would've known where the box was located. I had to drive back to my old place and look for the box. It was not left in the unit but left near the loading dock elevator. For hours I was worried sick because I did not know the location of my belongings. The Company did nothing to remedy the situation other than tell me it's not on their truck and that I should check back at the old place. I lost the rest of my day being tied up with looking for a box that the movers left behind...unattended. Thankfully, all the contents were still in the box. Probably will not book again based on how the issue was handled. read more
