The fries are freshly seasoned and fried, and the onion rings are filled with big slices of onion (Not that wimpy yellowed stuff)! We got chicken fingers and honestly they were some of the biggest pieces of juicy chicken I've seen served as "fingers." We also ordered the salmon burger, and it was deliciously topped with pickles, tomatoes, cabbage and jalapeños-providing great texture along with flavor. One June 18 at around 2:00pm my partner and I, POC's, visited this location. We made a stop here on our way to Snoqualmie Falls. Upon our entrance we went and ordered with an employee/cashier woman. Automatically we sensed that she was uncomfortable by our presence in the shop. We made our order and she was condescending in her attitude. We had a seat and waited. While we waited other customers were attended to. She greeted them with jokes and laughter. When we received our order she failed to ask us if we wanted sauces, something she kindly did with others. One of us went in to ask for sauce and she put a few drops of it. I went in and she said "you're here again." While this was an unfortunate event, it was patronizing, homophobic, and repugnant. Don't go here. If I can leave a lower review, I would. Also McDonalds has better food. read more

Probably one of the best fast food type burgers I have ever eaten. Normally I don't come here for takeout but wait while Mr. Bear goes in and get the food. The shakes are the bomb after a hot hike. Service is always been kind of slow but got even slower. I ordered my food and watched while at least 2 people that came after me got their food and drinks. After giving the lady behind the counter a look. She suddenly appeared with my order. It had been sitting there for a while. Normally they are very hot. This time lukewarm and getting soggy. The best burger you will ever get in Snoqualmie. The fries are in "shoelace" style fries, which are perfectly salted and you can eat them by the handfuls. I highly recommend the cheeseburger, along with a side helping of fry sauce for your french fries. The cleanliness is pretty good for a hole in the wall burger joint, but the only reason why I would take one star off is the obscene amount of unnecessary signs everywhere. This is somewhat typical for family owned businesses of the Asian ancestry where the owners get fed up. The passive aggressive signs everywhere are hilarious. Especially when a sign is super tacky (e.g. hand written with a sharpie and hung up with scotch tape) and yet it is permanently there. But once again, this is a phenomenal place to grab a hot and juicy burger. The staff is top-notch and incredibly friendly as well. read more

I generally have liked the various restaurants in the Herfy's chain. Tried this one about 10 years ago, and was not impressed. Decided to try today to give them a second chance. They weren't even open, and the Milk Barn next to it was closed, too. Reading the other reviews here, I can see why they weren't open. It's too bad, as this is a nice location, near downtown Snoqualmie, and the historic train depot. Not far from Snoqualmie Falls, either. read more

I've been driving by this Herfy's for YEARS now...probably decades, and finally took the time to go in for a burger and fries. It did not disappoint! Nice sized tasty hamburger and fries made the old fashioned way...not the assembly line patties and such from your typical fast food place (although I don't mind some of that from time-to-time either :-), and the price was decent, a little more than a typical fast food place but not by too much. I remember when the Herfy's chain was all over the place, similar to the other burger chains....I've wondered what happened to them over the years...but I'm very glad there's still one remaining in Snoqualmie! The sign outside the store says under new management, don't know what it was like before, so I don't have anything to compare it to from the past. Anyway...if you want a nice change of pace, a tasty burger/fries (they have fish & chicken too), great view of Mt Si, and friendly staff....go to the Herfy's in Snoqualmie! read more

I love diner food so much! I had the cheeseburger and fries and loved it. My only complaint isn't even about the food. While the place is clean it could use with a few atmospheric adjustments. The smell of the room was that of cleaner but would serve itself better if the smell was of the food. It's much more enticing. We stopped by here for a snack after visiting Snoqualmie Falls. I got a raspberry shake and shared onion rings with my husband. The raspberry shake was better than the blackberry shake my husband got, and the onion rings were perfectly made! We are outside on the picnic tables. Upping things by one star...tonight. Mystery diner had bacon cheeseburger meal. The burger was very good as expected. The fries were the best I've had there. Keep it up. Overall, the burger meal deal is what I always order. Already mentioned the burger and fries. The serving of fries filled half the basket unlike how the mushy fries overwhelmed it. So if that's the new standard, I'll adjust. Some other feedback: 1. Napkins once were paper towels. I don't like what is there now since they are flimsy and I use at least a dozen on my visit. 2. The wrap on the burger seemed to do ok tonight where in the past it always tore and leaked all over requiring lots of flimsy napkins. 3. The door into the store is pretty stiff. My friend saw a senior struggling and helped him to open it. So there you have it. I'll be back again to check things out. :) read more

We stopped in for lunch and I asked for a teriyaki burger instead of chicken. They said sure and I'm so glad because that was one VERY tasty burger!! It hit the spot and I'll be asking again the next time we're out this way. Oh and the strawberry shake was pretty awesome too! read more

RUDE lady at the counter!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND....when ordering it appears like if you are bothering her by asking about the menu... when ask about what the salad includes she gave me attitude and stated "well lettuce"....she was then rude when I ask about the dressing and then stated "we dont have it" I explained to her it was on the menu...Rude Lady then stated oh yeah forgot. On top of this while eating at the restaurant it seemed a very hostile environment the lady got an ordered wrong and she walked to the nearest trash can and threw th4 food loudly. It was loud enough that guest turn to look. Overall the food was okay but the environment and lady made it a bad experience. And based on my observations it appeared she is the owner! Ordered a chili cheese fries with was onions on top. Ended up with chili cheese onion rings which were soggy and tasted like, well, nothing good. Went back 5 minutes later, 7:15pm, they were closed, locked, nobody home, despite posted hours of 8pm. So I went to a real restaurant instead. I test out Herfy's every so often since I live close, and always have some hope it's gotten better. Since the ownership/management change occurred, I had some high hopes for a better experience. It's disappointing to know that while they improved the texture and consistency of the regular fries, and backed off the 5 tons of slip they pile on the burgers, it's still a largely pedestrian experience on the best of days, and complete crap on the worst. read more

The customer service was beyond awful. The woman at the counter was impatient and rude. My daughter is undergoing chemotherapy and had a question about the menu which really seemed to annoy her. When I used my credit card the man cooking came to the counter and repeatedly pointed to the machine trying to get me to leave at least a 15 percent tip. They were asking for up to a 20 percent tip for fast food! This was in addition to a tip jar on the counter..unbelievable given how rude they were. The tab came to $63 dollars for 3 cheese burgers 1 order of chicken strips and 3 drinks ! And they expected a nine dollar or more tip. The food was ok but not great and certainly not worth the price. When I asked for ranch dressing for the chicken she was clearly annoyed It has been years since I have experienced such horrible customer service..this is my first review of anything but felt it necessary in this case read more

I stopped today and ordered 12 piece nuggets meal with a root beer and a small shake. When the total came to $24.84, I asked why was it so much? The nugget meal was $12.98 & the shake $4.98. The cashier seemed upset because I questioned the price. Apparently she thought I wanted a root beer shake. She was difficult to understand and acted rude. I told her no, I only wanted one shake and to just cancel my order because I felt she was being rude to me. Finally she did cancel it. My negative experience is simple to relate: on 9/30/2022 i went in the store and asked for 2x plain burger, acoutrements on the side. I had to drive a ways,and didnt want the burgers to get soggy on the way home. The person at the counter (who was obviously one of the owners, or at minimum in 'mgmt') feigned a language barrier and acted like she didnt understant what a plain burger was. I tried to explain and got the same 'so sorry, i no understand' so I left. I live in Snoq and this place MUST be under new ownership...No matter. I will NEVER darken their doors again. If you are interested in Snoq Valley burgers, do yourself a favor & go to Scotts Dairy Freeze a little further down the road. You won't be sorry. read more

Everything was good and made to order. Unfortunately with the state of the economy prices are very high.
