You can also order meats by the pound with the choices being beef brisket, chicken, ribs, pulled pork and hot links. We decided to share the SMOKIN' COMBO ($55) which included ribs, two quarter chickens and two hotlinks with our choice of two large sides. There are three options for sauce: mild, spicy and extra spicy. We went with the spicy sauce after the employee described it as being "middle of the road" in terms of heat. After we had placed our order at the counter, the employee brought over our food in less than 10 minutes, which was surprisingly quick. They must have all the meat prepared, so they just cut the pieces, slather on the sauce and scoop up the sides. When I say they slathered on the sauce, I am not exaggerating - just see the photo. All the meat came on a single plate and the sauce completely covered everything, with plenty of it also pooled at the bottom. Had we known, we would have requested the sauce on the side. It had a moderate kick of spice, but it was tolerable and not the kind that numbs your tastebuds. I loved the chicken which included two drumsticks and two thighs. The meat was perfect - succulent, juicy and fell off the bone. The ribs were very meaty and although the menu said the combo would come with four ribs, they actually put six on our plate; four large ones and two smaller ones. They had a nice smokiness to them and most of the meat was tender, with just some small spots of dryness. Finally, the hotlinks were plump and hefty with a good snap to the casing. Flavor-wise, I thought they were okay, but had they not come as part of the combo, I probably wouldn't have ordered them separately. We selected the coleslaw and baked beans as our sides, which they had scooped into plastic containers. Even though the coleslaw was basic with just cabbage and dressing, I really enjoyed it. The cabbage was super crunchy and fresh while the dressing was relatively light with an addicting seasoning. It was just right. The baked beans were average...sweet with some chunks of bacon cooked into the sauce. We managed to polish off the entire combo and were happily full by the end of it. There was a lack of vegetarian options, though there were several chicken dishes, but only shahi paneer and matar paneer for the vegetarians. They said that some days they also make dal. There was also some veg soup choices in the buffet. The chicken tikka masala tasted like the chicken tikka had been made in the tandoor and it tasted good. The chicken malai tikka was also pretty decent, even though heavy on the cream. I liked the basmati zeera rice and the raita. The shahi paneer was good but the matar paneer was too red and weird although the taste wasn't bad. The salad vegetables seemed like they had been sitting out all day and were all wilted. I would not eat the raw vegetables. The gulab jamun in buffet was ok but a little dense. The chai was tasty but totally cold. I was there at 5:30 PM so it was off peak time so that may be the reason. I ordered a samosa chaat. The samosas were good and hot, but chutneys left a lot to be desired. The green chutney tasted more like pesto, and the tamarind chutney tasted completely off. The yogurt was decent. The chole (chickpea curry) that came on the samosa chart was quite spicy and more like a curry rather than a chaat item. I would avoid the chat items at this place until they improve the taste of their chutneys. There are only two guys in the restaurant they are doing everything from cooking to cleaning to being the servers and cashiers. They are very friendly, but very busy, so you may not get attention if you need water or something else to be served to.you. The owner Jassy needs to hire more people if he wants this restaurant to provide proper service! It is a pretty big space so it has a lot of potential, if they can improve on the service and the atmosphere. So I tried the jalapeño burger, and I very pleased that they didn't just throw raw slices on the burger but instead grilled them a bit. It packed some heat, but without that raw grassy taste that you get from an uncooked pepper. The fries are usually quite quite good, and the onions rings can be a bit too well-done, so we ask for them "not too crispy!" and they're much easier to eat. You can get sauces such as ranch dressing for the onion rings at an extra cost. Other condiments like mustard, mayo, and ketchup are either on the burger itself or come as a free add-on. They have bison chili, and I've always wanted to try it, so I'll get that next time. The place is like one of the old-time burger shacks that you found on the side of the US highway system back in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, which makes sense, because the main drag through North Bend used to be US 10 (which is replaced by I-90 3 miles to the south). It has a bare bones inside seating area, a front patio that is great in the summer but yikes it's cold in the winter, and their public bathrooms are available only from the outside.
