Funeral pre-planning: Their funeral pre-planning service is outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anybody. Since both my relatives had pre-planned their funerals, it made the funeral planning process much easier for me. Planning the actual funeral: This was pretty straightforward. I came in to select what options I wanted and they took care of the rest. They were very helpful with writing the obituary. I felt like they were taking care of all the details and I didn't need to worry about anything, really. They made a great DVD slideshow of photos I had provided to them; people really enjoyed that. After the funeral they even provided an etiquette brochure that made writing thank you notes easier. Little stuff like that really helped. Staff: Throughout the process, Randle Dable Brisk employees were incredibly caring and detail-oriented. I've worked with both Lee and Tom as funeral directors--they were both very helpful. Cosmetology: This really stood out to me. I don't know how they did it, but they made my relative look so good and very natural. Because of COVID, my relative had not had a haircut in a long time. I provided a couple of photos that showed his previous hair and facial hair style, and the final result exceeded my expectations...by a ton. It was incredibly meaningful to see my relative look so nice and I am grateful for that last memory. Whoever did his hair/makeup is a truly gifted cosmetologist.

They made it easy to go through the options and answered any questions we had. Mostly, my review is about the service itself. First off, our Mom looked beautiful and natural. Nothing like the dreaded stuff you see in movies. She looked like she was taking a nap and was just how you would want to remember her. I found out later that Sarah is the person to credit for this and she did an awesome job. The flowers we received were positioned beautifully and they provided plenty of space and easels for our photo boards. The sign in book table looked great as well, they even had a framed picture with her and all of the info right on the table. Not much else I can say except that they did a great job and we couldn't have been more pleased.

All I can say is they do not communicate very well. I got better communication via the church/cemetery on the funeral plans. It's only going to be simple graveside service. One thing I hate is bundling. Buying something you don't want is a rip off! A funeral can get expensive, were not talking a value meal, or phone, internet, and cable! They don't bundle at Brett funeral home. My sister was a very private person. She didn't want any kind of final ceremony, or anything. Nothing. ( I'm thankful she notified her lawyer of her intentions). My sister got exactly what she wanted, and paid only for the services requested. Now if she wanted more, she could have gotten more. The price for cremation, transportation, etc, etc was just under $2,000 two years ago. Almost everyone was steering us towards Church and chapel. Social workers, etc. Church and Chapel bundles. They wanted $10,000, maybe more it wasn't bad I guess if you wanted all the extras, but It's not what my sister wanted. Brett funeral just might be the cheapest. The respect and dignity is still there. They do cremations on site. In fact, they do cremations for most other funeral homes as well as the city of Milwaukee. If you're in need of cremation services for the least amount of money, I recommend Brett funeral home, they have knowledgeable, compassionate professionals.

Well, it's a cemetery--not much to say about that, really--but I'll tell you what: the service was…read morejust great. Very kind folks, and they clearly knew what they were doing. We looked at a few places before making a decision, and Holy Sepulchre stood out--not just for the price, which was the best by far--but for how easy they made everything. We felt like we got real good value, which is important when you're making these kinds of long-term decisions. We ended up getting a crypt because we like to be prepared. We don't want our kids having to deal with all that later on, and Holy Sepulchre really helped make that process straightforward. They walked us through everything, answered all our questions, and never made us feel rushed or pressured into anything. It was all handled with care and respect. We're also in the process of purchasing a headstone for my grandmother at another cemetery--Saint Adalbert--and I have to say, the experience hasn't been quite the same. Holy Sepulchre was just much better at answering questions and helping us understand the options. That really stood out. All in all, very pleased with how everything went here and very glad we got it taken care of when we did.

C, C & Z recently handled a cremation for our family. We were left heartbroken & very disappointed…read morewith their services. Our 92 year old loved one was under hospice care and passed away at home on June 15, 2018. By July 2nd I had not heard from C, C & Z and called them to inquire if the remains were ready for pickup. I was told the cremation had not taken place, they were awaiting a Dr's signature. The thought of our loved one having been somewhere in "storage" for 3 weeks was heartbreaking. After more calls and more vague explanations I reached C, C & Z on July 11th. The staff said she "was about" to call me that the remains were ready for pick up. The information with the remains indicated the cremation took place on July 4th. C, C & Z provided services for us in 2015 and we were very satisfied which is why we chose them again in June of this year. I don't know what changes they have made in the past 3 years, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Marquita in particular was wonderful to work with and we felt she truly cared about us during and even after the process. We are very thankful for the recommendation from our pastor to use this funeral home and would highly recommend it to others.
