I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I feel other families should be aware of my experience. I was staying at this hotel with my children, and unfortunately we were asked to leave. While I understand that hotels have policies and expectations for guest behavior, the situation felt rushed and handled without much empathy or willingness to communicate. My children were being energetic--as children sometimes are--but instead of working with us to find a solution, the staff's response felt abrupt and unaccommodating. I would have appreciated clearer communication, a chance to address any concerns, or even guidance on how we could make things right before the decision was made. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but based on how the situation was handled, I would not recommend it for families with young kids. A more understanding and family-friendly approach would have made a huge difference read more

First off, the location is right off the highway and full of questionable people. The room was absolutely disgusting and didn't seem to be cleaned at all. The sink and shower were filthy, and the bathroom had mold growing up the walls. My room had a hole in the wall that was filled with toilet paper. The shower head was so low my boyfriend had to bend over to get under it. My second night I was woken up to a knock on the door at 2AM, and I was terrified. What a Dump!!! This place has section 8 housing staying there. Kids riding skateboards up and down the landing by your room. They had an iron, but no ironing board. They had a closet for your clothes but no hangers. We stayed 3 days due to a family illness. They never brought clean towels until we asked. We never had our bedding changed once! It was the worst place I have ever stayed. I booked this hotel through Expedia on December 30, 2014 for one night. I paid $68 per night. The room was very dirty and smell bad. There was no blanket and I slept in bed sheet, because I called the room service and they said that's what they have. Restroom was very old and heater was not working properly. I couldn't slept until morning, because of cold and smell and later I got sick. They were not serving any breakfast and front disk staff were not friendly. This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I was disappointed in the room and the place as a whole. This place needs an entire overhaul starting with tearing it down and rebuilding it. I got to my room and the light switch didn't work, the lamp didn't work, the refrigerator froze everything I put in it. The toilet ran off and on every 2 minutes! Housekeeping only made up the bed amess changed my towels. They didn't change the sheets, only made the bed. I know it was the same sheets because I made a small mark on them. I did not plan on being in this room for more than just sleep and that was good in this case. While the staff was pleasant they make you sign a few photocopied papers on the typical emergency info and rental car used but the oddest form that allowed the hotel staff to enter your room whenever they wanted. The furniture was stained and the lampshades were ripped but the room overall was clean. It was fully stocked of towels and shampoo. The pillows were too soft and not supportive. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge and microwave in the room which is very convenient for a traveler such as myself. Having working cable television is nice to have. Every morning I was awaken to the ruckus of my fellow guest and their stereos but that is not the hotel's fault. I guess I was staying there at the same time as a wedding party from Texas. It was nice to have the hotel in a location very close to the freeway and there are many services nearby like a Vietnamese restaurant and liquor store near within walking distance. Now would I walk in the neighborhood where the hotel was located? Not if I did not have to. It is a not as well lit as one would like and the constant hum of sirens did not make the few moments I was in the room that comforting. Oh by the way they did use that right of entry at any time even though I clearly placed a do not disturb sign on my door. I found that disheartening. This place is horrible! The sheets were filthy and when I requested new ones I was told no because they didn't have access to those things after 9pm. The web site says they have 24 hour support but they don't, they only have security after hours. Also there's no WiFi, they lie about that as well. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting top to bottom and it's not just the filth but there were broken and Missing fixtures throughout the room, the toilet paper literally falls apart in your hand, honestly I think this hotel owner and staff have completely given up. read more

BEWARE !!!!!!!Stayed on the second level and got ate up by bed bugs !!! Nasty ! So they moved me to the top floor and I had to go-to the hospital because I had these huge bumbs all over my face that were hurting and itchy, I went to the E.R and they said it's a infection from bacteria most likely from there sheets and pillows!!!! Sign says newly remodeled... Our schedules finally matched up so my honey booked a room here. It's convenient right off hwy. BLDG = From afar it looked good. However the stairs were a hazard, some short & some long steps. The walkway to the room was lopsided. I guess it's a "band-aid remodel." ROOM = It contained mini frig & microwave. The room was very nice (better quality then Motel 6), clean & spacious but they didn't have any towels. We called & the front desk said to come to lobby to pick up. Ugh! As soon as we were getting down to bidness the door suddenly flies open! What the...!! My first thought was staff coming with towels that we already picked up ourselves. But no. Apparently the previous guests lost their shoe so the front desk gave them OUR key to retrieve it. Ridiculous! I was still paranoid all thru the night. SERVICE = Basic & robotic during checkin. Jan 6 2015 my dad and I came to Hayward to do a job for caltrans and we did a Google search and found a few places and this one was reasonable. Then we opened the door to room 205....... I immediately smelled pot. Not the good pot smell but the remanence of old blunt ashes and butts. So I started to look around and lift up the mattress (more on this in a minute) and I found a zip lock bag with the butts and ashes. I took it to the desk and they were very apologetic but the damage was done. They put me in another room and being someone who gives that second chance I opened the door and it was even worse if you can believe that. The bathroom door had been kicked in. there was cockroaches in the night stand and bed bugs. You can tell because of the dried blood along the seams of the mattress. my advise is pay up and goto best Western right down the street. read more

Today - October 24 2019 - at around 6:45 PM, the front desk attendant refused to help myself and a family member identify if another family member - who may be suicidal - had yet checked out of the hotel. We had his name but did not have his room number. We were told we needed the room number. I understand that the policy may be to not reveal such information, and that is okay, but the uncaring and rude manner we were spoken to was incredibly insulting. If this is indicative of the staff in general I would not trust them to provide clean sheets, clean water glasses, et cetera. No wonder they have a one star rating. read more

We had about 4 lamps in the room and only one worked. One I thought didn't work because it was unplugged. I plugged it in, still didn't work. Then I realized it didn't have a light bulb. Then the light near the bathroom sink just didn't want to turn off. Ironically no matter what switch we tried the light just stayed on. Then my cousin wanted to use their free wifi when I went to the front desk to ask about it the guy said the free wifi only works in the lobby. I give them no stars at all this is by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The manager Gary allows people who do not even stay there to linger on the property there are people sleeping in cars and I see others trying to break into cars and sneak in rooms after people check out. The price of a $110 is not worth your safety and well being the management is horrible they are there to take your money and forget you are a loyal paying customer who sides with the people hanging out on the property. Homeless people pushing shopping carts with there belongings asking you for money everytime you leave your room and seeing them first hand trying to break into rooms that have not been rented out is very disturbing. This motel is by far the worst in Hayward and I recommend not to stay there its dirty and looks like they only re-make the bed after a customer has checked out. The towels are far from being white and I was shocked to see used needles with blood still in them under the bed. I really believe that these motels need to be regulated and customer relations needs to be inforced or the motel should be shut down or fined. Absolutely and horrifically disgusting. Worst hotel I've ever been in. I checked into this hotel when my car broke down about half a mile down in the middle of the night. When I checked in to the front office, I was surprised to see how cheap the nightly rate was, but when I opened the door, I found out why. My walls were FILLED with graffiti. I could see the cheap paint that was used to try and cover it up but it looked like a job half done. My bathroom smelled like a wet dog, and the was lime all over the bathtub and toilet. God forbid any woman/man/child is forced to sit on that unsanitary toilet. My bed sheet had a brown ketchup looking stain on it. The stain was about the size of a watermelon and it was right where someone would put their mouth when they lay down. The rug was completely dirty with stains and the phone didn't work. I wouldn't give this place any stars, but I will give this place one star because when I met one of the janitors and asked her to help me clean a bit, she had a look on her face that let me know she has the same problem with every other room and she is worn out and tired if getting payed so low when her work rate is extremely high. It is a bed, and it is a roof over your head for when stuff happens, but luckily there is a Days inn right next door for only $20 bucks more and a MUCH higher quality then this. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for something sanitary. If you are planning to hook up with your boyfriend out of jail who hasn't showered since he got released, this is the place for you. read more

The fan was about to fall from the ceiling and the AC didn't do much to cool down the room. The room above me must have belonged to a hooked as she was having sex all night and constantly was opening and slamming her door. The family next door was fighting all afternoon and some drunk people were wandering the halls. The only good thing about this place is I only paid $50 a night and the guys at the front desk were super cool. I actually feel bad the staff at the front desk work there. They can do better.
